Always calls and asks for someone who has never lived at my phone number, which I've had for 6 years. Constantly leaving messages on my machine and the few times that I have spoken to someone have told them repeatedly that this person doesn't reside at the phone number they are calling. They always promise to remove my number but then end up calling again in a few days.

I have sent them the following Cease and Desist letter:

You should direct all future correspondence in writing as outlined in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and to cease all communication with me by telephone.

Lastly, I would like to receive confirmation in writing that you have received this letter and will no longer be contacting me about this other person's debt, or I will be forced to seek further legal action.

I look forward to your acknowledgement that you have received this notice by [date that is two weeks from date of letter].

I called back and got a music hold then A man answered and said Nelson and Watson . It is a collection agency for Credit cards and auto loans .I don't have either so have no idea why they called my number.
