I called this number and it was a VM stating I had called, " Education Match".

There are different 'do not call' lists. Just because you're on the government one, doesn't mean that every single 1-800 number can't call you... Also, it does NO good whatsoever to tell them, "take me off your calling list" or "stop calling this number." They will NEVER take you off their list unless you say specifically, "PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST." That is the absolute ONLY time they will ever actually remove your number. It has to be those words EXACTLY.

I have gotten 9 calls within the last 2 hours! I answered their first call because it was a local number in my town, so it seemed to be.. they immediately transferred me to a different number and again and again.. I told them I wasn't interested anymore and now they keep calling. Literally 5 minutes apart. They want me enrolled in a college in Arizona yet I live in Missouri, and I'M ALREADY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE.

I think you need to re read the statement. This thread is just to report the calls you get from that number. IT DOES NOT SAY IT IS SUCH N SUCH COMPANY. WE ARE NOT IGNORANT.

I have literally been getting calls all day from different numbers about every 20-25 minutes. I am sooooo over it. I have a prepaid phone so they are about to use up all my minutes. If I ignore the call they call right back. This # trying to call my # so I looked it up on Google & found this thread. Automatically set calls from this # to go straight through to voicemail. I do feel the need to comment on the people on here saying "stop calling me". You looked up a number and found the same thread as everyone else on here to & if you can read the 1st thing posted on this site is ---> "Did you get a call from 800-928-8914? Read the posts below to find out details about this number. Also report unwanted calls to help identify who is using this phone number."

I signed up with an online job search company and after filling in my info a screen comes up about colleges/further education.  I clicked "No Thanks" but they still apparently will use your info to contact you. Bad Business!!

they call then hang up,then call again and hang up. if they leave a message its just air blowing threw the phone,or nothing.

This company has harrased me for the last 15 mins asking for Camil Brown. I've told them there is no such persona nd to get me off their list. They refused. I called them and they just laughed.

These irritating idiots call every day from a different phone number asking for a child who isn't even in high school yet, let alone college.  Next time they call from a different number, I will inform them that caller ID spoofing is a crime.

I finally decided to answer and there was a guy that spoke spanish, so i put my friend on that speaks spanish and he said the man kept saying "feed my young belly!"  "won't you feed my young belly".  So I called the FBI.

These Bank of America people are not nice - they think that you are the person they are looking for and won't stop - the only thing to do is hang up and put them on your list of phone numbers to not answer

I have also been getting calls form this number (and others) trying to give me a pitch about enrolling in college.  I don't answer these numbers anymore; eventually they give up after a few unanswered attempts. Not sure how I got on their call list.

I told them not to call here again the person they are looking for do not live here. I added them to the don not call list and keeping a record just in case i need it for future actions.

i got two calls in one day, and i am still not fully sure how they knew my name and number, concerning and its some sign up for a college or something. its very strange

Looking for a job online and posted to one.  This is the reason why I am getting these calls.  Dang vultures looking to take more money from unemployed people!  I am tired of them.  I will be blocking call.
