i keep getting calls from this number.  i have no clue who it might be or how they were informed of my private cellphone number.  how do i make this stop or at least block the individuals from getting their call through?

the idiots who call my cellphone from this toll free number 800-936-1153 dont realize they are costing me money. I am investigating these bastards and when I find out the source I will be going after these sonsofbitches for long time.

The number calls constantly  to my cell.  I ignore it.  I'm going to assign them a no-ring ringtone so I won't have to bother hearing them.  It'll be easier to ignore them and they never leave a message.

A few months ago, this number called my cell phone many times without leaving a message.  There was dead air the two times I picked up (without saying hello to see if someone would say something first).  I once tried calling the number back and the outgoing message was vague -- the business was some kind of "service" but it wasn't clear what the service was.  The outgoing message prompts the caller to go through a number-option maze that went nowhere.  Not many people have my cell phone number so I don't understand who this is.  I thought it was over after not hearing from this number for months but then I got a call a couple of days ago, no message.

I can also confirm that Allied Van Lines as well as All My Sons Moving and Storage plus other moving services sell customer information to Elephant Group, also known as homes.org and saveology.com (this is their latest attempt at escaping their reputation). The dimwits calling you will try to sell you ADT Alarms and Dish Network satellite TV.

Do not place an order with these people!  They will sign you up for obscure home warranty scams, Blockbuster memberships, discount clubs, etc... Before you know it, your credit card will be laden with mysterious recurring charges that you'll have to track down.

These jerks have been calling me at least three times a day since I signed on for an interstate move with Allied Van Lines!

When I move, my landline number goes into the 'dead zone.'

we do?' form after the move. Tell them they are a bunch of a***oles for selling your info to ruthless telemarketers and you'll inform everyone you know not to do business with them. Screw Allied!

I can confirm that Allied Van Lines sells your info to homes.org. They even say so in the letter you get from them after signing up for a move. Appalling. I have asked the Allied agent to please stop the calls. They probably can't even if they want to. Now that homes.org has the info there is probably no way to stop them from abusing it.

The last 5 'missed calls' have been from this number. I usually do not pick up calls from unknown numbers, and never from 800 numbers. I have not had any contact with Allied, am not moving, and only 5 people have my cell number.

I'm getting the calls too and I am moving with Allied as well.

I just got a phone call from them, I did not pick up. I too, am moving via Allied Van Lines this week. I asked for online quotes from a few moving companies, and they have not stopped calling for weeks. Big mistake. I hope they do not call again.

I heard a pre-recorded voice telling me to stay on the line for important to news about my upcoming move.  I am in fact moving this week, so I thought it was legit.  I was connected to someone (live I think?) but they said something garbled like they were talking to someone else and then the line went dead.

Called me, said there was an important message for me, then kept playing music.

Calling the number back multiple times indicated it's a telemarketer line for "homes.org"

I've set my cellphone up on the DNC Registry which I shouldn't need to do.

Dead air when answered. Anybody know of a computer program to dial them back several hundred times a day? 800 numbers is on their dime.

I got music and then someone asked for me and then the line cut. Any of you do online programs with a school?
