Per the FDCPA, debt collectors are in fact allowed to call you at your job. They are also legally entitled to call your neighbors landlords etc...so long they don't defulge the reason for the call other than leaving a message. Coast Professional helped me get out of default after a death in the family made me have to move and I forgot to update my address. I worked with a Tera or Tara and her manager Damien to get me out of default in 9 months. I am a firm believer in paying my debts and have worked in the bill collection industry years ago and these collectors are truely professional in comparrison to the people I worked for. Again thank you Coast for helping me and don't listen to these other idiots who try to dodge you.

Try paying your debts and not trying to dodge the debt collectors

Has called every morning around 9:30AM, never leaves message. Answered phone this morning; all caller would tell me is that her name was Sara and that she needed to speak to (me). I stated that (I) was at work. She asked for that number which I replied I could not give. She then asked if (I) could leave a message for (myself) to call her back. She gave me the same number she called from and said she was from Coast Professionals, who I assume is a debt collection agency.

Coast Professional is a debt collector - they aren't allowed to call your employer

A person who said her name is Stacy has called my work and my mother (with whom I haven't lived in over 30 years, but list as an emergency reference). She said she was didn't want to call me at work (but stated where I work to my mom) and left this number. When I got the message at work, I called, it said call another number (which I wrote down but threw away) it is a sex line. The recorded message said "hey sexy guy". How did these people get my name, where I work, AND my mom's number, but don't have my number? Oh yeah, I have my phone number on the Do Not Call list, lol.
