A PRIVATE NAME called from this number - we missed the call and called back, even thought we thought it was a marketer.  Corporate office was the only data offered.  Who is placing this call - it is an imposition on home owner. DHH

I just called the number back and talked with a VERY nice girl named Nichole. I told her I have called 3 times asking for my number to be removed, she aske dfor my name so that she could give the message to the person who had my file. I asked her what this call was about and she said that I had ordered an EBAY kit. I said I had not and they better not be charging my credit card, she said they didn not have that info. She said they were calling me to give me a FREE conslut. I told her that was fine they could call beack but they MUST leave a message if I dont answer. I will wait to see what happens with the call and repost after.

A gentleman called, stated that he was a coach for the ebay education department and wanted to see if I qualified to be an ebay powerseller. He asked a lot of questions and wanted to set up a date and time to call back. I was trying to
get information to verify who he worked for and ask about the name of the company. He stated that his manager would give me all that information when he called at the appointed time. Well to make a long story short, I had to be out the next day and I noticed that the call did come through but no message so I decided to look up the number and found it at this site.  I noticed that ebay offers all types of info and why would they have someone call you when you are already selling on ebay.

Received a call from this number; returned call and someone answered under the business name of "Auction Profits." - a sart your own eBay business. I recently had one of my credit cards compromised and I thing whoever did it was ordering stuff online to test out the card. I informed the woman I spoke with what happened and only gave her my phone number to take me off their call list. She was fairly nice and appreciative of the info.

The caller from the number 801-716-3032 is a scammer. They have one of the websites on how to make money on ebay. I had downloaded some info to start selling on ebay and that's how they got my info. I got a call from Jason (he said he was an employee of ebay ) asking if I was interested in making money on ebay and opening a store front. I said I was just looking into it. He asked if we had good credit and told me it would be an investment of $2000. to $25,0000 to start up a ebay store front. I told him I would have to think about it to get him off the phone. He gave me the number 866-731-8112 to call him back. I contacted ebay the next morning they do not call you! He is not an employee and it was reported to there fraud department. They have all the phone numbers on file now that these scammers use. Do not get involved with them!

I keep ghetting calls from this number and ask these people how they got my number.  They try to tell me that I signed up for information to start my own business. When I tell them I didn't they can get REALLY rude.  I keep telling them to stop calling me but thats when they usually get FOWL mouthed. If anyone knows how to stop this please let me know.  They are driving me crazy and sometimes call as late as 10:00 or 11:00 at night.

The same thing that has happened to previous commenters has happened to me this evening. What I have noticed is that everyone is asked for a different amount for the same "service" In my case they wanted $4600.00 USD I'm from Canada so I would have to add on another 25 cents for every dollar. That works out to be $5750.00. I knew it was a scam about 10 mins into the conversation but let him try real hard for awhile before i told him I would call him back. Good thing there's a place like this for people to see what's really going on. Debbie is right... SCUM!

Every 10 minutes today, Saturday, January 10, 2009, I received a call showing up as Unavailable on my caller ID.  After 3 hours of calls every 10 minutes I answered the phone asking if he would call back in half an hour.  I got the number and looked it up on the internet and saw this site.  Ten minutes later when he called back he said I ordered an Ebay start up guide and before he could continue, I told him not to call again and told him I was filing a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.  I hung up and did file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry as the person above suggested.  If you get a call like this, tell them not to call again, hang up and then file a complaint with the registry.  What scum!

On 11/24/08 i ordered a cd on how to make money on e-bay for only 2.95 earlier today i notice i was charge 59.95 from the same co. On 12/02/08 i received a call from a caroline sanders from a # 801-716-3032 and she said she notice i was ready to start selling on e-bay and it will cost 1200 for a 10hr lesson i told her i just got rip off for 59.95 and do she about the company that rip me off she replyed no and when your ready to start making thousands of dollars please call her at 866-731-8112. I checked out the cd i ordered and it has a las vegas address with a #888-276-8105 the same # my bank said that rip me off for 59.95 and a postage paid address from salt lake city, UT where carloine call me from internet consulting, This is a SCAM!.

From a Caroline Sander telling me how to make thousands of dollar on e-bay she need 1200 dollars to get stared and wanted me to give her my credit card # i knew this was a fraud.

I got a call from them as well....they kept telling me that they only qualify 1%, but damn it was easy for me to qualify. THen they wanted me to give them 1,530 to get coaching and a website set up to sell for ebay. He tried to relate to my life...with me being a single mother of two kids, he said that he was a single father of a 8 year old daughter. I had to make up a story about my bf and his famous life to get him to call him.....and now he hasnt called me....lets hope for good!

Third call this month from "Kurt Warner" regarding "ebay business" - said number to call back was 866-731-8112 x6367.

For three nights straight, I have gotten a vm from (610) 687-1030...

"Hi there, this message is in regards to Ebay.  Give us a call back, toll-free, at 1 866 731 8112 and ask for extension 77.  Thanks."  The vm was 13 seconds.

It's a little creepy, because the vm is the same recording each time and not a live person leaving the message...

I just recall them and Sherry answer me... I ask if Jeff Gilbert  is here and she confirm me that name but he is not here.

I saw this number as a miss call. Called back and got a message: Corporate office is currently closed. Wondering what is behind the number. Hopefully not one those $1000 rip-off calls.

I received a call from this number nad, it likewise came up a private name. The man ask for my wife, he said he was from ebay...???????? Very questionable!

I just got a call about a confirmation for my ebay book.  He knew my first name, but when he asked about my last name, they did not match.  I knew immediately that this was a phishing scam so I gave no information.  BE WARY.  They tried to confirm my address and then tried to start talking about my credit card.  I have contacted Ebay, and I also used to work for fraud at a very large bank.  I have also notified them about this newer version of the story.

For a week I got a called that would show up unavailable on the Caller ID.I would anwser but no one on the line. Then Sat.6-21-08 I got a call that said "801-716-3032 Internet Consultant". The man asked for a name, I said that is not me but I know that person. The man read me and address that was close to where I know this person. Then he went on to say that this person got a CD from him called "How To Make Money On Ebay" and he needed this person's phone number so he could contact him for more info. I refused to give the phone number and ask for his. He said he was Jeff Gilbert and that he could be reached at 1-866-731-8112. Both phone numbers are from Salt Lake Utah. I do not know anyone from Utah nor have I purchased anything online from Utah. BEWARE! Times are getting hard and I think we will see more of this stuff. There will always be people wanting something for nothing.

I just received his call. He know my name (really strange because the ebay account are at my wife name).. he tell me something to make money with ebay. He ask me some if I am a buyer or a seller on Ebay. I tell him i dont talk very well english and he hang off. probably some spammer. BEWARE and dont give any pertinent information

I got a similar call this morning from 801-716-3551 (MURRAY, UT according to freecellphonelookups). The guy said he was with School for Success, calling to ask me how my recently bought marketing tools for  Ebay or Google were working out. I haven't bought either, and when I asked how he got my information, including my cell number and first name, he balked and hung up.

They called me and I made the mistake of answering as well.  But there was actually someone there.  They say they can tell me how to make "BIG" money on ebay.  There's two different people calling from the same number.  I'll of the info I get online is that its a scam.  I'd say don't answer.

I keep receiving calls from this number as well. Made the mistake & answered it once. No one was on the other line. They hang up on my answering machine everytime as well.
