Same exact thing happened to me, Sharon Cooper wanted to place a mary kay order with me and said that her debtor made a mistake and sent more money than was needed for the products and then asked if i could send the rest of the money to her daughter who is getting married soon.. also told me she is deaf and i can only email her because she cant text or it charges her.. this is crazy!

I am a Mary Kay rep and received an email last week stating from Sharon cooper that she is deaf and cannot speak over the phone and if she texts on her phone she gets charged per text so I should email her. She found my number through the MK website and wanted to order products for her daughter's wedding that was coming up. She gave me a list of what she wanted and said she would send out a check.  THIS IS A SCAM**I have read similar stories for the same information that this person is texting people to get them to cash a check over the amount more than what the Mary Kay order is and to send the rest to her daughter. The original number came from 719-602-7370**SCAM*****************

Texted me from this number wanting more pics and asking questions who's answers were in my ad. Dead give away freakin jerk bag!

This is a type of Nigerian 419 scam where the scammer sends the victim a check, the merchandise is shipped then the check doesn't clear. The bank goes after the victim for depositing a counterfeit check, meanwhile the scammer got their merchandise for free.

I just got a text from this 816-388-9692 and the person wants my full name and address so he can send a cashier's check from MO and once the check clears he wants to send a moving company to pick up the items I'm selling. No one answers to the phone when I call. My gut feeling tells me something is not legit with this buyer.

Got a text instead of phone call saying that they would pay price for appliances listed on Craigslist.  They would send bank check, wait for it to clear and a moving truck would be sent to pick it up.  I called the # where text originated from and left message that I don't do business this way.  Needed phone call and more info.  I, too, am thinking it is a scam!!!

Same number texting me wanting too buy both of mycars by sending cashier check and after it clears my bank send a driver too pick them up also. Sounds too good too be true. So i tried calling the number on a different phone and it told me that i could only call it from the same number the text was sent too.

Same guy texted me, agreed to pay over asking price. Apparently from Georgia with a Missouri Cell number. Same thing with the cashiers check and pickup. Extremely odd. Kinda feel the scam trying to take effect

got a text from this number after i posted my truck on mautofield.com. wanted to send me my asking price through a cashiers check and have a mover pick up the truck after the check "cleared". I'm in San Diego, CA and he's apparantly in Montana. quite the pick up for a $5000 dont you think?
