Just got a call from 816-410-7487 (12:26pm, 4/19/12) and do not know how it belongs to.  No message was left.

I got a call from this number and they said I won a $500 free gift card from mastercard or visa by buying something from Walmart or Target. He also had a strong middle eastern accent. I amused myself by saying I only pay in cash (I do) and don't shop at either one of those stores. (I love Target, but I never go to Walmart) He said, well it must have been at the grocery store. He then said I had to confirm my address and gave me some random address that I have never lived at before. I said I am not comfortable with this, seeing as you don't even have a valid address and hung up.
The thing is, I could see how people could fall for it. What jerks!

called 11/29/09 said they were the EPA

called 11/28/09 said they were the epa asking about a septic tank

Number calls incessantly. They say that they are trying to "update" my business listing in the yellow pages, which of course these people are CLEARLY not affiliated with the yellow pages but rather have purchased business information in the pursuit of sending them unsolicited product in the mail for which they bill you if you do not send it back to them or decline the product later. They talk so fast and have such heavy accents that it is easy to get sucked in to just get them off the phone. Just hang UP!

Recieved a call from this number today stating that they were with the fbi and there was a suit against me for an unpaid payday loan debt. They requested that i send 200 immediately to the following western union account

They then sent me to their supervisor named Anthony Reed and his number was 347-404-5046 Ex 9211. They gave me a case number of 164438BC.
They said that it was through Q(couldnt understand due to their accents)-cash. Dont recall a loan with these guys, or the parent company NWV. Both the initial contact and supervisor had Middle eastern accents. When i informed them that i could not pay the amount till friday they told me to borrow the money and pay them back on friday.
They threatened me with going to jail for the debt.

This number called at 5:48 PM Central, 11/16/09. A recorded message from KCP&L (Kansas City MO's electric company) with info on a community meeting in my area.

Got a call from this number from a Filipino guy named Looni.  He was speaking Tagalog.  He said we have been chosen to receive a trip to Mexico.  When I said no, he asked if I could give him telephone numbers of my friends that he could call.

have been getting numerous calls with this number recently but they leave no message and ame on caller id is always private name.

I got a call this morning from this number.  Tried to call it back but there was no answer.  Strange thing is, the call was right in the middle of two calls I did not answer on my cell phone.  The calls on my cell phone were from a team of software developers I am working with in India.  I believe they placed all three calls - first trying to reach my cell, then my home, then my cell again.  I think the number may be a routing number of some kind - used by different organizations and assigned by a phone company "on the fly".

I answer our company switchboard.  For the past two weeks, daily I am taking multiple calls from this number.  Always a middle eastern accent I can't understand.  He asks for a different person each time, none of which are employees here.  I ask if I can speak to his supervisor and he hangs up.

Number just called me at work and left no message

They called my grandma pretending to be her grandson who went on a roadtrip to Canada, got pulled over with alcohol on his breath and was taken to jail. They needed money from her, but she said to call your dad. She would have fell for it if she had the money!

She reported the number and incident to the police

This man is also contacting our company for money for products we did not order nor receive.

Got "the call" from this number today at 10:44 a.m. No one said anything.

They keep calling at me at work trying to collect money on a old debt i think. But they cant give me any information. And they are very rude.

We are getting calls from this number also, but there is never anyone on the line when/if you answer.

A lady called me from this number today, and want to talk to my husband.I asked who is it? She said she is "chen".I told her my husband is not at home,she hang up.

this number showed up on my called id tonight, said private name.  left no message, but when I tried to call it back, it just kept ringing.  When I did a reverse number lookup, it said kansas city missouri number, land line, Brooks Fiber Communications.

this number just showed up on my caller id and it's an out of area number so I answered. I couldn't understand them because the lady had an accent. when I asked her who it was again she said " your phone is breaking up I will give you a call later" does anyone know who these people are and how they got my number?

got several phone calls from this number, but i wouldn't answer. never leaves a message. when i call back (from another number) no answer. then i jumped on here and saw the info from here....guess i don't need to answer. thanks so much that was really helpful. i thought it was my boyfriend's wife.

I got a call today from 816-410-7487. First there was music. Then a man answered the line and said "hello?" I told him I had a call from this number, then he went on to tell me the company he was with (which I couldn't understand bc he purposely slurred it and was middle eastern in descent) and to tell me about $350 being taken out of my account without my permission. I started freaking out and asked which account he was talking about. I got suspicious when he replied that he needs to get some information from me before he could tell me which account. I then asked him which bank he was talking about. He repeated the need for information from me. When I told him I would not give him any info until I knew which bank, he said "Then I guess you won't be able to get your $350 refund. Goodbye."

This number keeps calling, leaves no message, no one there when I call  back.
