Seems to be random.  My 800 number caller ID says "Hames Show Inc"  when I google that its some circus/production company in texas

This company is testing toll free numbers for connectivity so they can sell connect proof lists to politicians and the like.  In other words, a politician can buy a Call Campaign that guarantees 30,000 connects.

We need to put a stop to these shady practices.

I get the same people calling also 817-237-1284 "A Concerned Cit".  From the best I can tell your noises aren't being heard.  They hangup or disconnect as soon as you answer.  One time I could hear them talking but they couldn't hear me or ignored me.  I think we are pretty much at a dead end unless sometime when I call they actually pickup or we all file some kind of complaint on them.  I have tried blocking them and I have Packet8 VOIP.  I say that because some posts say it is unknown which on some carriers it won't show but within carriers it does show name.

Got a call from this number with A Concerned Citizen on the caller ID. I know from reading other posts that these losers are not worth talking to so I picked up and played them a tune with my star key. If they call again, it's an coach's whistle, or maybe a fart tune, next time.
