No way to stop them. You can try not answering ANY long distance call that you don't recognize, and they will stop alot sooner than if you answer even once. It is like spam. Once you open any unsolicited email, you are verifying that you are a 'live' one. I haven't answered an unfamiliar number in years, and most will give up after a dozen tries. I have never missed an important call. If they won't use caller ID to identify themselves, then they have no business calling me.

We get a call almost daily from this number asking for "Thomas" - I have repeatedly asked them to not call our number and to-date it continues.

I also got a call from 817-376-9217 and it was blank and then a female voice says goodbye.

I think they are trying to sell underground weight loss drugs, etc. They called one day and said to an employee here that they had a good buy on their medication, etc. We had no idea what they meant and they did the same to me one day. You can tell them you don't know what they mean or who they want, etc. but they only continue to call.

I would like these people to please stop calling me and annoying me at my work place.

I get the same thing, no matter what you say they keep calling and from different numbers and blocked numbers, they are calling me on my business phone.. I have cursed them out, and still they continue. Only thing you can do is to send for a form from your  number somewhere in the first 5 or more pages of your local phone book in the "annoyance call center section attorney general's office for annoying calls fill it out and send it back to the attorney general's office ... that might stop them, but what a lot of them are doing is calling on trac phones (cell phones) and the numbers aren't registered and they can't be traced, or reported they use them up then get others and they rarely call from the same numbers anyway!

I keep getting a call from this number and never get any answer or any one to say hello. i think this was the 6th call i've received from this number? i quite answering the calls from this number after the 3rd or 4th call.

I got this call too, picked up and I said hello and there was a pause and then the man (middle eastern) said hello.  When I responded, he hung up.  I downloaded a free call blocker app for my cell phone, if they are calling your cell, you can do the same thing.

This is the first time this caller has called from an unblocked number, but I instantly recognized who it was. It's a guy with a seriously heavy Indian accent, and he calls my place of business every single week. This has been going on for months. Every time we answer the phone at work, we state the company name, and our personal name in our greeting. And every time, this Indian do***ebag says "Hello nancy, I have your medication, blah blah blah..." and no matter how many times we tell him he has the wrong number and to stop calling us, he just continues to talk as if we are mistaken, and continues his blabbering about "Nancy" and "you need your medication, and i have to get it to you," etc. I don't know what the hell he's talking about, and last week when they called it was a woman with an Indian accent saying the same crap. And of course today it was back to the man. We continue to tell them to stop calling, but they never give up. If anyone else finds any additional information about these people, please share so we can finally put a stop to these calls!!!

I just started getting calls from this number...and for a few seconds there's nothing and then a recorded female voice says good bye.  I get calls often, asking for someone - not me.  It is usually a man with a heave accent. When I tell them to take my number off their list they hang up.  Is there anyway to stop these calls...it really is annoying becaues they are always changing their number
