Received a call on my cell phone but caller left no message

On the do not call list but this number has called twice in the last week with no message left.  I don't answer if I don't have you programmed in to my phone.

Its a 3rd party company hired by dealerships to makes these calls. How else do they know your name, car and where you got it from?

Guy called me yesterday from Arnie Bauer Cadillac/Buick Service. He knew my name and asked if I wanted to take part in their Summer Service Specials.

Its gotta be a scam. They are calling from the same number "representing" too many different dealerships to be legit. They called me about a car I haven't had in a year. And I'm on the do not call registry.

Crevier BMW calling to try and suck more money out of me. Service department will lie to your face and tell you that only their experts can install a new battery because it "has to be registered to the alternator."  Total nonsense! I've been doing my own oil changes and brakes since I was sixteen years old. Next car is a without a doubt going to be a Lexus.

Received a call from this number (847-463-7401) last week with no message left, then received on just a few moments ago and this time they left a message.  They said they were from Hansel BMW (which is part of the Hansel group in Petaluma and Santa Rosa both in CA) saying that they'd like to offer a service on my car, blah, blah, blah and when they are done they will wash my car.  Just call 866-308-2820 to schedule an appointment.

Not sure how they got my cell phone but I do not and will not buy any vehicle from the Hansel group (they are total rip off artists) and do not even own a BMW! I called the 847-463-7401 number back got a message stating I could leave a message and someone would return my call.  I immediately stated that I do not know how they got my cell phone but would appreciate them not calling me again and removing my name and number because I do not associate with the Hansel group and do not even own a BMW!

I will be filing a complaint with the do not call registry since my cell phone is on that registry for what good it will do.  It's bad enough when you get phone solicitations at home and at work on the landlines but it's getting to be a real pain in the butt when they start soliciting you on your cell phone!  I don't know about anyone else but I do not have tons and tons of minutes (don't need it) and I do not have unlimited minutes either so if these phone solicitors are going to start calling and bugging me on my cell the FCC and Do Not Call Registry better start doing something about it!!!

8474637401 just called me. Left no message. I got a message a few weeks ago saying it was to confirm my oil change from a BMW dealer. I don't have a BMW. I never made a service appt for any thing. I heard that people were getting goofy calls when they have their number on line somewhere like Facebook.

The company is Dealer Product Services -- they are checking on the satisfaction of your recent repair at your dealership.

it's the patrick caddy dealer verifying your satified with their service.......IN which I am not....Patrick Caddy is like most other dealers...They try to rape you. Or promise to give you a good job but Half A** it!

I wont be back to that Stealership.

Thanks for scaring me to death "oh no." I just called the number and they are Dealer Product Services, calling to check on a recent repair done at the dealership (don't know which one, I recently had two cars in the shop).

So no definitely NOT a collection company.

Yep, Dealer Product Services -- making sure that I am satisfied with my recent repair (mine was Joe Rizza Lincoln-Merc but they probably call for multiple dealers).

Call came in, the second in the past five minutes, it went to voice mail and no message was left.

Called today, saw on caller ID. Says IL call. No message left.

We haven't had any cars at any repair places in the past several months.

It was BMW service calling to tell me they haven't seen me in a while and to call the local dealership to schedule an oil change..

Well "BILL" so glad you have a beamer.Hope your current on your payments. Why not spread some of that wealth around there, pal?  Now, would you be so kind as to explain to me why the H E double hockey sticks as to why the bleep they'd call someone, anyone who hasn't EVER stepped foot in a lame a*** BMW dealership. Eh? Customer service my butt. Can you spell S-C-A-M? #winning

lighten up people.  it's a good thing that companies do followup calls when you have warranty or service work done. what if a bad job was done? wouldnt you want corporate to know about it?  had my BMW serviced, missed the call, but i'm not cheesed that they did.  i'd rather they followup than not.

Got a call tonight.  The asked for me by name, but connection was bad (cell phone) and i didn't recognize the number so i disconnected.  I am on a no call list!

Have gotten two calls from this number in the past week.  I didn't answer either time, and after reading these I'm glad I didn't.  They never leave a message.

Recently had service done at a local Ford Dealership.  This is their partner is follow-up survey calls on how we were treated etc...

Asked if I recently visited the dealer and wanted to follow up on the service I received.
