J'ai recu un appel le 15 décembre 2012 de M. Peter Campbell me disant que mon ordi était infecté et il m'a transféré a un technicien senior de niveau 2 dont le nom est Simone Lloyd qui m'a montré tout ce que j'avais d'infecté dans mon ordi. Que j'avais un trojan dans le dossier csrss.exe, que mon ordi était infecté a 67%, que le registre était infecté.  On me demandait $49.90 pour event cleaner valide3 ans, nettoyage du registre gratuit, $71.00 pour anti-trojan et malwarebytes valide pour 3 ans, AVG tune-up gratuit, $19.99 pour le travail du technicien qui prendrait et nettoyerait mon ordi pendant environ 3hres, plus les taxes.  J'ai tout rapporté a la police et ils m'ont rappelé ce matin le 17 décembre pour savoir pourquoi j'avais tout arreté et que je n'avais pas poursuivi avec eux m'expliquant bien encore qu'ils ne travaillent pas pour Microsoft mais qu'ils ont les gros serveurs qui leur permettent de tracer les personnes dont les ordinateurs sont infectés.

Lundi le 10 décembre 2012, je viens de recevoir un appel de 855-277-1001, qui disait être une compagnie de sécurité de Microsoft, dont le nom était Prism Tech Support, avec des noms américains  mais avec un gros accent indien, un était Brian Smith, et l'autre Peter Campbell. Il disait que Microsoft recevait des messages douteux, et des fichiers pouvant infecter mon ordinateur gravement. J'avais des doutes et il me disait d'aller voir leur site internet www.prismtechsupport.com, ce site peut paraître vraiment crédible, mais plus ça allait plus j'avais des doutes, ils m'ont demander de taper dans Excuter: CMD et Eventvwr, oh que je n'aimais pas ça.... j'ai fini par leur dire que je mettais fin à la conversation et que je vérifirais avec des pros de l'informatique que nous connaissons et nous avons raccroché. Ne tombez pas dans le panneau.

je viens d'avoir le meme appel avec le nom james anderson et j'ai parti a rir en lui disant que j'ai le meme nom .pas vrai mais son accent de inde etait trop evidant etil m'a donner les memes info nom compagnie et numero de telephone .. et merci a ce cite car il m'a aider a voir la catch

J'ai reçu le même appel. Le gars s'appelait "Mike Stephen" et voulait m'offir du service pour (soit disant) nettoyer mon ordi..... Quand il a vu que je ne voulais pas ouvrir mon ordi, il m'a donné le nom de la compagnie `VFIXPC Services` au tel: 1-855-277-1001, mais le numéro qui apparaissait était 303-499-8790. Ils ont nessayé plusieurs fois. Je trouvais cela bien louche, maintenant après avoir vérifié sur Google vous me confirmez la fraude. Merci à tous pour les rapports.

j'ai recu un appel hier, jeudi 4 octobre 2012 16h48. Le gars se nomme Jack Peterson, dit travailler pour Microsoft et me dit qu'il y a eu plusieurs transactions douteuses via mon ordinateur. Me demande si quelqu'un d'autre utilise mon ordinateur à la maison. Il me demande d'ouvrir mon ordi et tout... J'ai pris ses informations et j'avoue qu'il fait très crédible, aucune hésitation à m'épeler et me donner ses coordonnées ! 1-855-277-1001 VFIXPC...

VFIXPC.net is a SCAM. I called Microsoft to and told me that. Wow those fuc""in rats...

How can they still can operated THAT easy, there are messages from almost 2 months ago, the news papers should talk about it!!!

J'ai reçu un appel ce vendredi 7 septembre 2012 à 15:58 de la compagnie VFIXPC ayant le 718-783-8996 et s'identifiant comme étant un employé de Microsoft.  Ce Monsieur ayant comme prénom "Mike" s'est adressé à moi en anglais avec un fort accent étranger.  Je lui ai fait répéter la nom de sa compagnie et s'est empressé de me l'épeler.  Je lui ai fait savoir la méfiance qui m'habitait en lui demandant son numéro de téléphone qui est, comme tous les autres lecteurs sur ce site, le 1-855-277-1001.  Il m'a demandé de me rendre à mon ordinateur tout en me demandant si j'avais remarqué que mon ordi était plus lent ces derniers jours.  J'ai ouvert mon ordi et lui ai demandé d'attendre un moment, prétextant qu'il y avait quelqu'un qui frappait à la porte. J'ai tapé à vive allure sur Google VFIXPC qui m'a conduit à ce site.  Merci aux gens qui ont pris le temps de témoigner.  Après avoir lu 2 commentaires, je me suis empressée de prendre mon téléphone, de lui dire ce que je venais de découvrir et j'ai raccroché sans plus attendre.  Il m'a également donné son site web (qui ressemble en rien avec Microsoft) www.VFIXPC.net .  Ne vous laissez surtout pas tenté d'ouvrir au cas où ?!?!  Dans la soirée, j'ai composé le numéo 718-783-8996 par curiosité.  Un coup de sonnerie et tout de suite après, un bruit stridant s'est fait entendre qui ressemblait à celui d'un Fax mais qui n'en est pas un puisqu'un Fax a une certaine "tonalité".  Je suis bien curieuse de savoir quelles instructions il avait à me donner par contre.  Anyway, l'important c'est de continuer d'être prudent.  Merci encore à tous et particulièrement à Bachmann :o)

The guy call me in the day and he said he's from Microsoft and I've got a problem with a data file and some one try to hack us and try to still our information his pseudo name is " Jack Peterson " and he allways try to contact us. So I decide to call him back at this phone number " 1-855-277-1001 " I thing there's two guy in this fraud the other guy is "James Aderson" so yeah I call him and he give me his partner and he said he's gonna call me back so it at this moment I understand than the only way he can't get busted his to do a prank call to be sure we can't catch him. So if he call you again please take the call and say to him "F*** YOU B*****D I WISH YOU GONNA DIE SOON" Thank you ;)

After we have post a add on kijiji we start received those phone call telling us we have donwload kind of virus  or bad files on her computer is name is James Anderson.. he's telling me is from microsoft... i ask for security mesure to call her back so he giving me is  1-855-277-1001 because when you received the call it under unknow call.... just after than i received another call 630-690-2396 so i verified whit microsoft and be award this is the major fraude they have to deal whit now,, dont give any information please contact immediatly your local police station.

Le centre d'appel antifraude du Canada au 1 888 495-8501 vient de me confirmer que c'est le plus grosse fraude en ce moment au Canada et que ca fait plusieurs mois qu'elle est active. Ils suggèrent d'aviser parents et amis.

I had a call from exactly the same number and the guy also claimed to be from Microsoft. I told him I will not do anything before i do a background check. He gave me a website but it's not a good idea to visit it, it can have keyloggers or other bad stuff. I'll see if i can report it to the Police. More info : he called me on my home landline and the number was quite new, like 2 months old.

I had several calls in the past weeks, similar to the one above, from a company called VFIXPC and the caller, a female who named herself Natacha, stating that the company is based in UK and wanted to "help me" solve errors on my PC.

I kindly declined their help, this time ant on their previous attempts, stating that I would check them out and get back to her !

She even gave me their Internet link « www.vfixpc.net » but I have no intention of getting back to them, suspecting the whole affair is a HOAX.

So, my only advice is.....BEWARE !

I just checked with Microsoft and they said it's an hoax call. Please don't give any information to them.

The people from this number say they are from Microsoft. They knew I had an old computer and they said that the computer's performance was slowed because of something that was downloaded. They wanted to help me to correct the situation, but I said no, because I found the whole thing weird. By the way, they only speak English (and my parents speak French only) and they now call once a week according to my parents.
