Caller ID said Notification - 'David' left message saying final notification to tell that we had won car in contest from 12-18 months ago. Never entered any contest, said to call him back at 1-855-422-3378 ext 124 - which we are not calling back. Quite sure it's a SCAM...

Yes,  I'm 67 and I definately would fall for this,  since I am elderly and apparently more stupid than younger people.

Message left from David that I had entered a contest in the last 12 to 18 months ago and had won 1 of 4 major prizes.  Only problem is, I didn't enter any contests.  Three years ago my late Mother received calls from the "Jamaica" scam.  When I intervened and he did not receive the up front money needed to claim what she had won, the calls came more often and the caller began threatening.  The police said that the caller ID said Jamaica but the person calling could be the next door neighbor.  Most people get the connection that they are being scammed, but please be aware that the elderly believe they have won something and are easy prey for the scum making the call.  Someone with authority needs to take this seriously and do something.

I also got this call similar to Cliff.  I too did not call it back.   Come guys, you have to know that this is a scam.  How many winners could this company have on top of calling you and giving the time frame of 12 to 18 months.  What is the contest name, why not call me at night when I am at home.

Was called by guy name David said i  won a car..Looked up number , it was a notification center used by telemarketers to make contact...

Just received a call from a notification center asking for my mother by name. Informed caller that I was her daughter and what was the nature of his call. He stated that she'd won one of the three cars that she'd entered for about 12 months ago. I told him that she had not registered for any contests. He then said that she had until tonight to claim prize. I asked for name & number. Here it is: Jermaine @ 855-422-3378 ext 134

Wanted me to show up at the holiday inn express for a meeting.  Said I had won 1 of 3 prizes and all I had to do was show up for the meeting and claim my prize.  Oh yeah said I had to show a credit card. You know their are scanners around that can pick up credit card information almost instantly if they are close enough to you.

Said it was the Notification Center, called my wife's first name, said she had entered "a" contest within the last 12-18 months. Gave the above number to call back, along with extension and name. We did not call back. Haven't entered a contest, though thought it interesting that the name of contest was not stated, with a vague time-frame.

We have a screen machine to screen out unwanted calls. He came on thru. He said he was not a telemarketer  .

Said I won a car and gave me a number apparently calling everyone with the won a car. SCAM

Said I had won a car but the only problem I had not entered contest it is a scam.

I did enter a Ford contest through Facebook but the whole thing could have been a scam. These people are in the "you won a car" business.

Calls, asks for hubby by name. No name himself, no company, no reason why I should tell if my hubby is here.
Finally got CLEAR answers. the notification center has a car awarded to my husband ...problem is the name he gave me IS NOT MY HUSBAND & NOBODY BY THE NAME HE MENTIONS LIVES HERE !!!!!
