I had to chuckle at this one....they do not have this information to provide to you, yet they can go to a courthouse and file something against??  LOL.  What a bunch of a-holes.  I have been putting up with these types of scammers and their bogus crap for 3 years.  Every once in a while I get lucky when I answer the phone...I say hello, they start spewing their bogus crap and then they get the sound of an air horn in their ear.  For a short while I have a grin from ear to ear knowing that what I did caused them stress much like what they have been doing to me.  Karma is a b-tch

These people have called me at least 2 times a week for almost 5 months from this number and one more... They ask for the same man every time and talk about how serious these allegations are that are filed against him.
Well first off, I am a female and I have not the slightest idea who the person they are asking for is. I cannot tell you how many times I told them that they have the wrong number and will have legal action taken out against them if they did not stop calling.
Once I asked to speak to their supervisor, the man I was talking to got frustrated and hung up on me.
They would not stop calling. It was ridiculous.
I'm blocking both numbers...
Block them immediately if you receive a call.

I have received numerous calls from Clear Credit Solutions claiming I owe on an outstanding debt and am going to be persecuted for Check Fraud.   They claim, their client, Dayton Networks, loaned me $300 and that when their client submitted to my account for money, my account was supposedly closed.  All of this is not true!!!  I never hear of Dayton nor did I close my checking account in 2012.  They want $525 from me!

I informed, Heather Cross (representing Clear Credit Solutions) that I owned no such money and that her company is all over the internet as Scam.  Before I could ask to to send me written documentation, she hung up.

This same company has called me in spurts over the last couple of years.  They have threatened, call my work and called my home!  Each time they call, there client company changes!  I have yet to receive anything in writing from them.  The government really needs to shut these people down!

Debt Collector
Wednesday, 5/28/14, my husband arrived at work where he was handcuffed by plain clothes "officers" and told there were 4 counts of felony fraud he was going to be charged with.  Obviously this freaked him out, so he complied with what they were telling him to do.  They said to keep from going to jail right then he would need to contact an 800 number and make arrangements with those people.  They claimed to be an attorney's office to assist debt collectors recover debts owed.  They said he owed $710 to a credit company for a payday loan.  He went to Wal-Mart and got a pre-paid card (his account was cancelled last week due to fraudulent purchases out of New York and hadn't gotten a new card yet).  He called the 800 number back and paid $300 and made arrangements for the next 2 installments and the "cops" let him go.

Then we got a phone call from a company claiming to be Clear Credit Solutions LLC on Thursday, 5/29/14.  I have 2 voicemails on my work phone from Greg Miller 855-641-6200 ext 203 and from Steve Johnson 855-676-1850.  They said we owe $710 for an online payday loan.  They couldn't give us any information on who the original creditor was or when the supposed loan was obtained by us.  They actually told me that I would need to figure that out on my own.  They threatened to file a summons with an attorney's office if we did not pay them $400 within the hour to settle the account.  I told him that we had never received any bill/invoice/notification in the mail indicating we had any outstanding debt.  Greg Miller sent me an email with a PDF of a payment coupon for "verification of the debt".  B*tch, please!  Any idiot can create a PDF and email it to someone.  When I told him that he would not be getting any money from me until I got to the bottom of this, Greg became very irate and tried to lay a guilt trip on my for not doing what I could to help my husband...even more so after I informed him that I had been in contact with 3 local law enforcement departments who all confirmed the scam from the previous day.  Hope that's the last we hear from them!!

These people are scammers.  Do not give them money.

They get your name, ss#, phone number, and all kinds of pertinent information from online payday sites that sell your info to them.

They then call you, knowing that at one time you had applied for  a payday loan, whether or not you had paid it off, and harass you until you give them money.  They do not use legal tactics, I have had them call my boss, family members, etc, and tell them all kinds of things they are not allowed by law to tell.  They have even used my Facebook account to get family members names.

There was another group that was harassing me, I got them to quit by filing a complaint with the BBB and the FTC.  Now these people have started.  Time to go to the BBB and FTC and file another complaint.

Debt is a civil matter.  No police involved.  No arrests.  No jail time.  These people are trying to scam you, by scaring you.  Do not give them any money.  Do not even talk to them if possible.  Block their calls.  They are kitchen-table debt collectors,  little more than predators and this is really an extortion attempt.   This "contractor" is a scam and he too is trying to scare you.

Go to police and local attorney general.

My mother received a phone call from this number for a payday loan that I supposedly owe on. The loan was for $200, but I owe $400+, but they would settle for $250. They couldn't or wouldn't tell me who the loan was from. When I asked for proof in writing, she offered to send an e-mail. I said that was fine but I wanted it in writing, also. While she was "pulling up my case", she offered me the settlement again. I again said no, not until I saw proof. She then said "she was done with me" and would "see me in court"

I have had the same types of calls from them.  Thing is I did use a check cashing place..which is now out of business.  I contacted the cashing place and they didnt show a balance and gave me the corporate # to call and try and get this straighten out.  At first, I gave these people my debit card # and set up payment arrangement because I was scared that the cops were gonna show up at my job as they had said.  Called and cancelled my debit card and told them I had done so.  They called me back on the date that the payment was set up and threatened again.  Today, I received a call from a private contractor for them and he stated he was in my town today and tomorrow and if I didnt call them and set up payment he would deliver these court papers to me...so we will see

I too received a call from this number.  I made the mistake of calling them back because the voice mail was threatening.  They threatened me more when I spoke with them.  They had claims from a lender I never of heard of and they gave bits and pieces of my personal info to me.  This was scary.  I gave them NO information and told them not to call back.  They can send me info in the mail.  They said they would see me in court!

When is the FTC going to stop these people?   There are enough complaints against these scam artists.  They shouldn't be allowed to continue to harass and threaten people.  There is no substance in what they say, it is all lies.

I just saw this number on my caller ID...fortunately, the call from this number doesn't even rate a ring on my phone, it is blocked by MR NUMBER and is hung up on immediately...after reading the above statements, I don't even know why they are trying to reach me, I have never in my life had a payday loan, nor do I owe any back taxes, so if you can block this number on your phone, that will stop the calls anyway...good lick

These individuals have been calling me for like forever and their sole purpose is to seperate you from your money and yes, they are liars. There is nothing about them that is honest or legitimate. They know all this and that is why they keep changing their names and numbers. Do not answer their calls, because when you do, that simply verifies to them that they have made a connection. They can make you crazy, but they can't sue you or have you arrested. It's as simple as that. They got your number because an employee or company sd old it to them.
They do this because they can't get a real job.
They will leave messages  with a bogus referral number and state that they will sue and use verbage to scare you.
Any collections company MUST provide to you in writing the matter about which they are contacting you. If they don't, they aren't legitimate.

Oh my goodness! These people are nuts, seriously if you have received a call from them and you want to do the right thing and call them back-forget it!  Think of a sociopath with no emapthy, civility, and education-you will be talking (actually you will be shouted at) by such a person. Serioulsy, I think these people are on drugs they way they talk like in Wolf of Wall Street because they make zero sense. They callled me about paying debt from over 10 years ago and because I am in recovery-check out 12 step, Debtors Anonymous for real, honest kind help on dealing with these issues-I have been advised not to make any financial decisions without seeing it in writing. They would not agree-that is more insane than my debt and debting behavior!

I wish that people who get information on these nuisances would name names as well as complain to the FTC. If complaint after complaint goes to the FTC.gov  website under the trouble makers names the Government will shut them down. Its important for people complaining on a web page to name these people so that regulators and lawsuits shut them down. Otherwise they will never be stopped and will cheerfully keep calling their victims for the rest of their lives

Called from 855-661-0283 and said to call this number back. First it was they were sending a 1099c, but when I told them I reported them to the irs, they changed tactics and said to call them before I'm issued warrants for arbitration. But wouldn't provide proof of debt. Yeahhhh, sending a c&d letter if I can find their info and reporting to the FTC.

WASHINGTON ? The Internal Revenue Service today warned consumers about a sophisticated phone scam targeting taxpayers, including recent immigrants, throughout the country.

Victims are told they owe money to the IRS and it must be paid promptly through a pre-loaded debit card or wire transfer. If the victim refuses to cooperate, they are then threatened with arrest, deportation or suspension of a business or driver?s license. In many cases, the caller becomes hostile and insulting.

?This scam has hit taxpayers in nearly every state in the country.  We want to educate taxpayers so they can help protect themselves.  Rest assured, we do not and will not ask for credit card numbers over the phone, nor request a pre-paid debit card or wire transfer,? says IRS Acting Commissioner Danny Werfel. ?If someone unexpectedly calls claiming to be from the IRS and threatens police arrest, deportation or license revocation if you don?t pay immediately, that is a sign that it really isn?t the IRS calling.? Werfel noted that the first IRS contact with taxpayers on a tax issue is likely to occur via mail
Other characteristics of this scam include:
Scammers use fake names and IRS badge numbers. They generally use common names and surnames to identify themselves.
Scammers may be able to recite the last four digits of a victim?s Social Security Number.
Scammers spoof the IRS toll-free number on caller ID to make it appear that it?s the IRS calling.
Scammers sometimes send bogus IRS emails to some victims to support their bogus calls.
Victims hear background noise of other calls being conducted to mimic a call site.
After threatening victims with jail time or driver?s license revocation, scammers hang up and others soon call back pretending to be from the local police or DMV, and the caller ID supports their claim.
If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, here?s what you should do:
If you know you owe taxes or you think you might owe taxes, call the IRS at 1.800.829.1040. The IRS employees at that line can help you with a payment issue ? if there really is such an issue.
If you know you don?t owe taxes or have no reason to think that you owe any taxes (for example, you?ve never received a bill or the caller made some bogus threats as described above), then call and report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 1.800.366.4484.
If you?ve been targeted by this scam, you should also contact the Federal Trade Commission and use their ?FTC Complaint Assistant? at FTC.gov.  Please add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments of your complaint.
Taxpayers should be aware that there are other unrelated scams (such as a lottery sweepstakes) and solicitations (such as debt relief) that fraudulently claim to be from the IRS.
The IRS encourages taxpayers to be vigilant against phone and email scams that use the IRS as a lure. The IRS does not initiate contact with taxpayers by email to request personal or financial information.  This includes any type of electronic communication, such as text messages and social media channels. The IRS also does not ask for PINs, passwords or similar confidential access information for credit card, bank or other financial accounts. Recipients should not open any attachments or click on any links contained in the message. Instead, forward the e-mail to phishing@irs.gov.

More information on how to report phishing scams involving the IRS is available on the genuine IRS website, IRS.gov.
