this company named accurate called and told me if i dont make payments or set up payments i will have papers served to me and they said they only accept visa and mastercards something seemed fishy never got anything in the mail. any normal debt collector will also use checking account and also send you papers in the mail verifying the payment arrangements and everything.

I received a call from the phone number 1-855-644-3148, left their name as Accurate Firm, along with a 7 digit claim number. They called to inform me that I have charges against me and I will be served with some papers. I was informed that this is illegal collection practices. A violation of the FDPCA and no one can call to jail for consumer debt. They use illegal scare tactics to collect money.

Received message from 815-797-0361, caller ID - Accurate (whatever that is) on landline for someone I do not know/does not live here - sounded like a "sweat-shop' in the background.
Left a reference claim number and number 855-644-3148 to call back from a Kylie Riggs. Yeah, sure....right away, Kylie....hahaha

Interestingly, I received a new message from caller id "orlando, fl" @ 321-800-4397, not 20 minutes later to reduce credit card rates - funny, I don't have/use credit cards; just another number to block and another scam.

My mother received a call from this number and they told her I had charges pressed against me. I called the number back and gave the claim number. This is Accurate and they were saying that a locator was looking for me and they do not make outbound calls so they did not call me. They said that I had a suit against me and that I could make it go away if I made payment or set up payment arrangements. I asked for their address and fax number they advised they are not allowed to release that information. After reading about them on these boards, they have several ghost and phantom toll free numbers that they use. This is a scam debt collector and the tactics violate every law there is.
