got same thing sent the 4.00 an i have never recieved my gift cards after 4 months of waiting i know relize its a scam

I just recieved a text stating I won a 100.00 gift card..It a scam.. and how are they getting my cell number

I got the same text message others have received from 855-257-4989 about winning a $100 gift card.
I texted Stop to unsubscribe and when I called the number and asked them to identify themselves, they hung up.  I will report them.
My question is can something bad happen from texting Stop.  I did not send any info,

My daughter received a text from this number 1-855-843-5249 stating she needed to call to receive her 100.00 gift card. I called the number myself and they just ask for your first and last name.  I asked what company this number was from and he got quiet and I said that is ok, I will turn this number into the police, so he hung up.

After previous call - rec'd text message  saying "Let us show our Thanks Call 855-843-5249 For Your 100 Dollar Gift Card"

Calls cell phone asking for someone (not me) and tells me this cell # is listed to something or other business dot com.  I told her not interested and hung up.
I'm on a "do not call" list

JUST GOT SAME MESSAGE CALL FOR GIFT CARD... HOW DO THESE PEOPLE GET OUR NUMBER?

I have called that number back 5 times.  All of them hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor.  I want to report this abuse.  I have added it to my blocked texts however, it seems as if I have received the same type of text before from a different number.  They will not give me the name of their company and will not let me speak to anyone else as all of their supervisors are on "break."

who is thanking me  & for what.. If you are going to charge me, forget giving  me info

I got a text from a Connecticut number 860-849-2073, telling me the same thing and to call 855-843-5249. I don't answer calls that are not saved into my phone, but I did respond to them by text. I told them that both cell number and 'company' number has been reported. Since this has been going on for so long and they are still at it, I highly suggest that everyone who gets anymore of these, I would go over the police's head and go to the FBI about it, see what they say. I am so sick of foreigners thinking they can scam the American Dream.

I also received text from 207-423-9967. we wish to thank you. Call 855-843-5249 for your 100 dollar gift card and replied stop to be removed.

I received the same text message. I believe it's a scam.

I just received the same text: Thank You for Visiting Us Call 855-843-5249. We have Your 100 Dollar GiftCard Gift Code 30A. I received one similar to that a few weeks ago, telling me I won a computer. I gave my info out on ABC.com. Kinda sad that they have to sell my number. I am sure this is Spam.

I got a text today at 9:29 am "We have your 100 gift card, gift code 30A TXT stop to unsub.  Of course I never fall for that nonsense!

I also recv the same text from 207 423 9967  to "Thank Me" and call the 855 843 5249. Not falling fopr it, and replied STOP to be removed. Haven't yet gotten a response back...

Got a txt from 818-284-7793 to call this # 855-843-5249. Called the # 4 times and each time I was hung up on as soon as I asked who they were. Called bk the 5th time and gave them my 1st name and zip code. Told me I filled out an online survery in the last 6 months and won a $100 walmart or target gift card and $20 in gas rebates but they needed me to pay $14.95 in shipping fees and wanted credit card info. Told Cassandra that I spoke to that this sounds like a scam and would be filling out a police report because I did not fill out ANY online surveys! They are SMS Short Messaging.

I received a text today from 254-577-1551, which I looked up and it says it's a landline in Texas. The text said 'We Wanted to Thank You Call 855-843-5249.'
I have no idea who these people are, and I never applied for anything with my phone number. I didn't call the number, just deleted the text. It clearly sounds like a scam.

i just got this text i didnt call it back or text i just looked in the internet and i found that it was a scam. so i didnt get the honor that i won $100.00 for filling out a survey from wal-mart but if i would have called i would have  gave a f****d up number for my credit card and l would have laughed my a** off.

My husband received a text saying he had won a $100 give card.  He needed to give his credit card # for $4.00 charge 7 he would get the card.  He did not give it 7 called the radio station to report .

Called three times and was hung up on each time I started asking questions. Called a fourth time and talked to a guy that seemed nice enough but was trying to convince me that this wasn't some kind of scam.

Told me the "survey" I had done was already done six months ago, that is interesting because I didn't have that phone six months ago. Went on to tell me that maybe a friend or a relative used it and I know that didn't happen because I bought it new. Got a little colorful as well, but I'm sure that's not the first time it's happened to them.

they came to my door with a card. talking bout they doing something to help out with jobs. i spoke with some one over the phone the next day. the number is 254 577 1551.  tha  federal gov. needs to get these scamers they are lie n to people. 855-843-5249
