Got a call today that tey are coming with a Marshall to sign papers or I'm going to jail. They went as far as calling a few family members to tell them they are looking to arrest me. Who the hell are these people??

My sister received a phone call from 1-855-855-6159 and was given a case number. The caller would not give any information as to reason for the call but said they would call back later to make arrangements to be served paperwork to appear in court. I called the number on her behalf and was told she had pending fraud charges and her attorney would need to call for more information. After reading these posts I called back and "Samantha Prey" answered. She then transferred me to "Andrea Lotempio" who she told my was my (sister's) case manager in litigations. "Andrea" said that I (my sister) was mailed the papers and wanted to know if I had signed them and sent them back to her yet. I asked her why she would be telling me she mailed these papers but the original caller said they would contact me to make arrangements to be served. She did not answer my question and proceeded to ask for the last four of my (sister's) social and I told her I would not give her that information and wanted to speak to a supervisor. She then transferred me to "Michael Hall" who gave me his direct line as 716-236-9731 and wanted me to verify any one number out of my (sister's) social. When I would not even do that and he could verify me in other ways he said that he already knew my (sister's) whole social and information and listed the first three numbers of her social. I asked him where this "business" is located and he said Amherst, NY. I told him that I had already researched that this company does not exist and he told me "not everything that is on the internet is true and I cannot believe the bad things that are being posted." He then said that they have been in business for four years and for my (sisters's) lawyer to contact him for more details regarding this legal matter. I told him that this would not be happening and not to call again. SCUMBAGS! Don't fall for this scam.

They keep calling with a case file they claim there is a lawsuit and they are on their way to my house and my job and when you keep questioning them they get nasty on the phone. they want your social security number and a payment they don't want to tell you what it is in reference to their company or anything. These people are the worst kind of scumbags. They violate both state and federal law by making these threats. I have personally contacted every news agency in the Phoenix Metro area as well as filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals office. I will be filing suit under the "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act." These are all appropriate steps available to any american. Use them and watch these scumbags suffer.

I received a call from 855-855-6159 also. I am not calling it back as this is not the first time I have gotten this type of phone call. They said the same thing to me as they said to everyone above- it's a legal matter, they have papers on their desk to serve me, they will be at my home "tomorrow" and if I'm not there, then they will be forced to come to my work. They said if they have to come to my work, then I have to bring my manager out with me to witness the transaction and I also have to bring two ID's. First of all- the voicemail was left for me yesterday and no one has showed up anywhere today. Plus, in my area, it's the Sheriff's department that serves paperwork, not some random guy that is so kind as to give a warning ahead of time.

Last, but not least, why would they need a manager...or anyone, for that matter...to witness "serving" me with the paperwork? What a scam.

If you are truly concerned that this may be a real deal- contact your local police department before you call this number back. They police department will tell you it's a scam and they can also help you identify if anyone is truly wanting to serve you with court papers.

I had another call today from Russell Johnson! Yesterday, he called from a blocked number.  Today it was from a Janesville, WI number 605.563.6545.  He said, again that he was coming to my homke or place of employment within an hour.  I tried calling the Janesville number back, but I got a message from Verizon wireless saying that number was not in use....

just got a call saying someone was serving my boyfriend papers for court he was out of town so the guy gave me this number saying it was serious. a lady answered and was rude from the start. i told her he was out of town i didn't know where he was staying she said he had better contact the number his self said it was weird i didn't know where my boyfriend was staying so they could send papers there. I said i'm not his wife she said i better get him an attorney it was for fraud. i said ok and googled the number so glad i found this was about to call and get him upset also she stated this number was a law firm.

I just had a call from a Russell Johnosn saying I had to call 855-855-6159 regarding legal action being taken against me.  I am so glad I found this info first! I am so glad people have time to call others and scam them out of info. I am not going to call that number, now that I have read all of the previous comments!  Thanks, all!

Received a call today from a Derrick Smith 855-855-6159 stating COURT Appearance also. Who are these people. Im so tired of these different numbers calling me. How can we stop this harrassment at OUR place of employment??!!!!!!

These people call me every day all day cussing, threating, etc..what can you do about these people..threaten to come to my job or home and if I don't respond can be sent to jail within the next 24 hrs...They are calling my cellphone..!!

You don't know that they have any part of your ssn.  Just because they said they did and demanded you to give your last 4 doesn't mean a thing. It certainly doesn't validate any debt owed.  They want you to call that number so that they can further scare the beejeebees out of you into paying what they want.  They can't have you served without going through the legal court system.
This scam is originating from India.  They are sitting in a little cubical making threats, trying to scare some gullible American into handing them money.
A company who refuses to identify who they are until you give them information about your self?  They need to get real.

This company refuses to identify who they are unless you give the last four of your social security number.  They appear to have case files against you when they call and threaten that they will have you served within 24 hours at your home or work.  After several attempts of asking who they were, it was stated that they are Niagra National Arbitration, who did in fact have access to my social security information.  That is very alarming to say the least.  

I am not sure if it is necessary, but I am going to contact all 3 credit bureaus and have a notation added to my credit reports that I was contacted by this company -    just to play it safe.

They claim to be a company called Niagara National Arbitration who handles some sort of "files". I received a call at work from a woman claiming to be a "process server" coming to serve me at work, for lawsuit against me. First of all process servers don't call you ahead of time. I asked what it was about and she had no further information, only a case number and the 1-855-855-6159 phone number to discuss my "lawsuit" When I called the number they said they were Niagara National Arbitration. They wanted the last four of my ss# , I said no and asked what this company is and the guy "Ryan" said they handle "files" and only wanted my information in exchange for him telling me what their company was about. I told him not to call my workplace again and that I was calling the police. I looked this company up and they don't exist. I found that other people had gotten similar calls. This is a scam.
