Received a call for partner.  Guy named Joe Heinz/Hinz was talking but not really saying much of anything. Just seemed to be dragging.  Said something about her needing to be available to receive documents, a filing and needing identification.  Noticed he didn't provide a company name so I figured eventually he'd get to that....he didn't.  Asked if this is a good number to reach her, that she needed to be available to sign for papers and if I would make sure she received the message.

I asked for a company name since he didn't provide one.  He said something about confidentiality and referred to case number. Who doesn't provide a company name when talking about serving someone????

I got a message saying to call back 877-336-5589.  Called back and they stated that I had an outstanding balance from a company called Evergreen loan.  I asked them again for their phone number and they stated to call back where I called. I then again asked for the number and they gave me 855-935-3655 x 112. I think this is a scam

I have received (3) voice messages from unknown caller ID. Guy says his name is Jim Carrol. The first message, he stated my number was just a contact number to try and reach a lady named Sheryl Allen, with a case number and warned he would be coming to the house. Second message, he directed his intent as though he was leaving a warned message directly to Sheryl Allen. Also said he needed state ID. Third message, moments ago, said he'd be at house, and if not there, would be coming to place of employment. Said to contact a certain number. I called it on office phone. Some guy answered as "ridge ways" blah blah. I hung up.

I figure it was a scam. They don't come to your employment or home to serve you. And when I tried to call the number it was some agency.

So I'll be serving you with the court note says schedule tomorrow what your residence or place of employment. Again the ring see it. If you do have any questions before we complete the service you should contact the fining party. And our office number is again (855) 935-3655 be available with valid state identification, so I can obtain your signature ma'am, and at this point of confirmed your service unless I hear differently from the finding party. I'll be out 2 scheduled.

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.

I would love to know as well.  They are saying I'm to be served with something but they don't say what it is.  They stated they are process servers in the voice mail they left me.
