I got a call from these folks today. First one I have ever seen. They did not leave a message. If the caller i.d. says something I don't recognize I don't answer it.

The number on my caller i.d. as 732-835-9149

732 is here in NJ.

anyway, I didn't answer. If they are trying to scam folks by telling them that they owe money on a car, then they have the wrong people here as we just bought a new car, paid for it completely. We paid for our old car all in one time too so we didn't owe on either one.

If they call again, I will complain about them and ban them from my phone.

I just got a call from them. My caller ID sayd Brivia Comm LLC, but the phone # was a NYC number - 212-812-5478. I don't answer the phone if its people I don't know. Of course they didn't leave a message.

SCAM-SCAM-SCAM--860-269-8751 BRIVIA Comm LLC AKA MGR SOLUTIONS Are scam artist's, They will call you for donations to all kinds of organisations, they will tell you that you owe on a delinquent credit card account, They may already have your SS # or at least the last 4 digits,  They try to get your bank info.  DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFO TO THEM OR ANYONE ON THE PHONE OR ONLINE IF YOU ARE NOT 110% SURE WHO THEY ARE. If anyone ask's if you last 4 digits are so & so just say no and hang up even if so & so is you #. If it is important they will send you a letter.

I got a call from Brivia Comm LLC, but the number they called from was 650-585-2104. They didn't leave a message. When I called back all I got was elevator music. Try calling them back after business hours to see if they actually have a voice mailbox. If they do, I may give them a piece of my mind!

I also received a phone call from Brivia Comm LLC asking about the  electric bill  and how they can save us money,only thing is the call came from 732-835-9149.You could feel that something was  wrong because the connection was terrib.le

never give your ssn#s verbally to any stranger online.  Get help from and ID theft non-profit on this one, ask your local police if you don't know where to start

I have received 3 calls from Brivia Communications, LLC phone number 267-775-3148. I tried to call number back to see who this was and there is a constant busy signal. Is there anyway to get them to stop calling?

They have been calling almost every day for 2 months. Unfortunately I have contributed before so I don't think they will give up anytime soon.

The call originates from Plainville, CT.  These fundraisers for the police are notorious for taking a huge amount of the donations for themselves.  I don't understand why police agencies use them.  Unfortunatley, their calls are all legal, as they are considered "non-profit".

Don't pick up the phone if you have caller ID, if you do don't make a donation they are a scam.

Fortunately they just called my fax machine so i hope they know how to speak "carrier."

I think every single day for about a month including weekends they call.  I have answered but because it takes them forever to say hello I hang up.  If it is what I think I did donate years ago and hear from them all the time.  Something about taking kids for the road.

I just recieved a call from 240-787-1342 brivila comm llc

Call from 240-787-1342 March 18, 2011, Brivia Comm LLC. There was a message with nothing recorded, called back and got busy signal.  This land line is 3 weeks new to me, been on do-not-call list for 2 weeks now, they better stop after I've been on that list for 30 days..

Caller ID said 'Brivia Comm LLC'  I picked up the phone by mistake, they wanted to talk to the person who pays the electric bill. I asked who it was, he went into his spiel about how they can save money on my electric bill. Then I said I'm not interested and asked to be placed on their do not call list.

I called back sent me to an ans. machine, I left THEM a message... that said I would be forced to contact The BBB  AND NYS ATT. GENERAL to report them IDK if it will work , but I DO have a info packet from NYS Att. Gen office, and have NO PROBLEM turning them in this # that keeps calling me is 240-787-1342, they DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, BUT CALL SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!!!!  

and BTW  the voice on THEIR ans. system is one wil an accent

I keep gettting a call from this company claiming to be a debt collector and they have called from different numbers and local numbers but the same jerk on the line wanting my identification number! The msg says they are debt collectors and say they are PBRS or TBRS attempting to collect a debt. They have called in spanish as well and the numbers I get on my caller ID are 706-534-5463, 706-993-9480, and 866-502-7377 all of these calls go back to the same recording and for me to state the nature of my business and leave my name and number. I just leave an angry reply to stop harrassing me that in fact they have called me and what is the nature of their business!

I just received two phone calls in a row from Brivia Comm LLC.  I didn't answer them, after reading all of this.
The phone number that comes up on my caller I.D. is 240-787-1342, with Brivia Comm LLC included.  They've been calling daily for the past 5 days.
I don't answer any number I don't recognize....not worth it now adays.

My caller was Brivia Comm. LLC with T-1-240-787-1342. She said she was calling from Baltimore.
Anyway, with all the messages posted here pertaining to the same company "Brivia Comm. LLC. could be a scam.

Brivia Comm. LLC with T-1-240-787-1342 appeared on my phone screen when they called several times.  They were offering me help get college educ. online.The caller was so persistent in taking some personal info. Sounds like very concerned and eager to help find a school for me. I asked the caller how they would help me when in fact they do not grant student loans. I asked the caller questions about their company. And she said their  financial advisor would be the best person who could answer to my questions, and would be calling me back.

I didn't want to pick up the phone when the same number was calling. I started to doubt. And I wanted to check through internet about this "Brivia"company.

And thanks to the messages posted here... with complaints about this same name "Brivia".

They are scam artists

I just got a call from them saying I owedI for a Visa credit card with Bof A Bank that I had stopped paying on.  They said I owed $6000.  I said I never had a card with B of A.  They said isn't the last for numbers of your soc. sec. number ----.  I said yes.  They said, then you owe $6000.  I said no I do not.  She said allright mam.  And, hung up on me!

I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE SAME COMPANY. I SAW A HOUSE IN MY AREA WITH A LEASE TO OWN SIGN, I CALLED THIS #510-500-0244, I CALLED AND TALKED TO A NICE LADY WHO EXPLAINED TO ME THE WAY IT WORKED, A 4 YEAR LEASE WITH A $5000 DEPOSIT WITH THE OPTION TO BUY WITHIN THE 2ND OR 3RD YEAR . THE NEXT DAY I GET A FOLLOW UP CALL FROM A DIFFERENT 510 NUMBER, THE CALLER ID SAID BRIVIA COMM LLC. THEY LEFT ME A MESSAGE TO CALL BACK, BUT I WENT ON LINE AND FOUND ALL THIS.
THIS IS RECENT, JUST GOT THE CALL BACK YESTERDAY 7/26/10. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Have been getting unwanted calls , almost hourly from Brivia CommLLC.  Phone # 240-787-1342.
Reported them to my State's Atty General & also found my phone service allows me to 'block' this number.
They never leave a message, so I don't think it's an important call & after reading some of the posts on this company, felt if I blocked them it would probably be the best thing.

They call every evening, sounding as if it's from out of the country (caller has a definite accent and there's a lot of noise in the background).  She claims to be representing a college and wants to speak to my son.  I'm sick of this.
