I am on  the no call list. I do not want you to call again.

THIS NUMBER CALLED, WHEN I ANSWERED, THEY HUNG UP....CALL TYPE SAYS PRIVATE CALLER

I just got a call from 864-987-2111 on my cell phone, but there was no caller identifier so I didn't pick up. There was no voice message left. Then my husband called me and said, "Did Verizon call you about the bill? They won't talk to me because it's your name on the account."

So, there's your answer -- it is Verizon.

Wouldn't it be smarter if they left a voice message on a business call, instead of letting us think it's a scam?

I had a  received a call on 6/1/2012, at 9:45 am ...claims i spoke 30 minutes.... is this VERIZON? and if so what is this all about?

You'd think Verizon would also leave a message. If this is the number I think it is, it is tech support, and if you call back you have to know the tech's extension. They don't even answer that you've reached Verizon! I am not sure, but I think it is a Verizon # because I had some tech issues recently and recall this number calling me to follow up but leaving no msg, and you can't call back and reach a live person without an ext.

You would think if it is the mighty giant, Verizon, they could at least spring a couple bucks to allow the name "Verizon" to appear on ID readouts.

I was receiving quite a few calls from this number a couple of months ago.
Seems it is starting again. When I have answered there is no responce. I have
even waited before hanging up. The calls can start very early in the morning, which is absolutely annoying, to around 9 PM at night. I just want it to stop.

Has anyone figured out what company this number belongs to? my city I'd said the number comes from greenville sc

It's Verizon Wireless. I just got a call about an order.

got a call from this number 3 times yesterday
Answered the call because the area code is familiar and very close to the city that I live but not answer or nobody said anything. I'll just block this number for future calls.

yep! it's Greenville, SC area code, the Upstate. I live and work in NC close to the area that's because I'm familiar with this area code number calls, but this time only made me waste my time. Just got the call, nobody spoke.
