Got a call Friday morning at 11am from this number. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a voicemail. I've never financed a vehicle (I haven't had a car in years), so I don't understand why this Santander outfit would be calling me. I've only had this phone for a month though, so perhaps they're calling for the previous owner of this number. Hope it doesn't continue.

This number calls once a week, every week, same day every week, same time every week. No voicemail is attached. This has been going on for a year now. At this point I am more intrigued than annoyed, BUT I WILL NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE!!!!!

This is Santander.. I recently had them take my car back since I became ill and couldnt make the payments. They nag me three and four times a day asking for their money but of course I have a ton of medical bills to pay and no employment either. Ive explained a million times I have no income so u cant blood out of a turnip. They dont care and have now started nagging anyone they can find that knows me.. Desperate Im sure altho they have tons of money.  I will have to file to get all my bills extinguished I guess..

They continue to call me as well.  I surrendered my vehicle 2 years ago and it sat in a lot for almost that amount of time.  They finally picked it up a few months ago and have already sold it and will not give me the info on that.  I am being charged state property taxes on the vehicle for all of that time, have not seen it since that time.  They state took my state taxes from me, I never laid eyes on that money.  The state thinks I still have the vehicle and I have no proof on paper that I don't because the company won't give it to me......it is a mess.

They keep calling me and they have the vehicle. I was almost done paying for the vehicle.

They call at all hours but NEVER leave a message.

Santander bought Citibank loans.  Citibank didn't tell anyone until it was done.

FYI:  There is a class action lawsuit against Santander.  Consumers need to check on this if you are being harrassed by this company.  Good luck to all.

CALLS 5 TO 10 TIMES A DAY AND I DONT NO THE NUMBER AND I DONT ANSWER

If the # is Santander (I don't answer if I don't know who it is), that makes sense.  We have a car loan with them that we pay the same time each month.  However, if you are more than 2 seconds late, they will call and harrass the heck out of you.  We tried to change our due date to coincide with pay day, but they won't let us.  They take pleasure in harrassing their customers over all else. So we continue to pay one week late each month.  At least we pay each month, but obviously not good enough for this silly money-hungry company.  Oh well, call away, I will never answer, but I will keep paying you in spite of your ignorance and lack of intelligence...

I volunteered repossession on a second car I was paying on. At the time, was married. After divorce, could not handle 2nd payment. CitiAuto no longer exists, and somehow sold the debt to Santander. This is what becomes interesting. Santander will not send me the subrogation agreement that CitiAuto Finance supposedly sent them. A subrogation agreement is a document with ?my? signature, acknowledging Santander (or any collection agency dealing with my initial creditor) to collect on a debt. Also, the car was sold/auctioned, and the amount remaining for the initial contract exceeds the cars MSRP when it was new. Measning the principle of the initial contract was paid in full, what remains is interest. (WHO COLLECTS ON INTEREST? ONLY THE GOVERNMENT IN STUDENT LOANS!) Also, CitiGroup has claimed their credit on this loss....why is a collection agency collecting on something that has been paid (ONCE THROUGH AUCTION, AND AGAIN THROUGH LOSS CREDIT)

So?..if this collection agency is collecting on a debt you owe, ask them for the subrogation agreement that ?you? signed with ?your? initial creditor, recognizing this collection agency. If that collection agency cannot produce one, then they are in clear violation of your  rights. Do not believe me? Read your Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Also look at your states time limit on collections. Granted your credit may suffer for seven years, however each state has a certain amount of years that a collection of a debt may exist. South Carolina is 3years. Anything beyond that is illegal and should be reported to your States Attorneys Generals Office.

Do not abuse the system of credit and try to hide under the laws. Just know the laws if you are innocent and cannot avoid collections, such as I have.

guys download mr. number for free to your phone. enter the number and when they call it will hang up on them and not give them a chance to leave a message. your phone never rings.

I never know what the name of the company is because I cannot understand a talking machine.

This number has called my house several times a week...and its getting to be rather annoying. No I know calls my house phone unless its an emergency and then to leave a message with an automated voice without fail. A real person should be on the line if they expect to be running a company...I put my number on the do not call list, and they are still calling me.

Me too, this went on every day for about a month and a half. They would change numbers. I just started ignoring all calls I didn't know. Seems to have stopped now but it was super annoying and it used up my phone minutes. I tried to talk to them a couple of times and ask them questions but they would just hang up on me. Makes no sense.

Anyways, same number calls me and doesn't leave a voicemail. All my debts are paid so no reason anyone should be trying to collect for anything. I use the AT&T child protection setup for a couple dollars a month just so I can put numbers like this on a block list

This company is trying to get the family to pay on my deceased sister's car loan. They already repoed the car and SOLD IT!!! We have sent them the death certificate at least a half a dozen times and the are still calling. She had no estate. Sister was the only one on the car loan.

This number called me today at 4:38 pm central time. No one was on the other line. Hung up. I called back, and they picked up. I can hear typing and muffled voices in the background. Hung up.
