Hi!

I am sorry for the your money lost to the SCAM.  My Family farm lost over $900,000 dollars and I want justice!  I will be sending the President of the USA all the addresses in the USA and Jamacia.

I hate those people whom target on older/disabled people.  Or whom ever!

I will not give up and report to the extent I need to!  I am in the medical field and worked on our family farm as a youngster.  My Father and Mother lost so much monmey.  They did not even need the Scam offers.  They were successfull as it was.  I did not know Father had Alzheimer's and Mother was in a Delusional Psychosis of winning millions.

Life is short, and had to bury my Mom at at early age of 72.

Best Regards, Deborah

I received a call from Mr Alex Cunningham (876-577-4267) of "Goldrush Sweepstakes" stating that I won 7.5 million dollars. He asked me several verification questions, such as was I under 65 years of age and did I do my own banking, and did I have two forms of US ID. He then informed me I would need three codes, Claim and Number code 0057, Company ID # 2751, and a ten digit code that would be supplied after I sent 300 dollars to Ceon Brissett at 12 Greenisland, Jamaica, WI. He asked what time I could do this, and I told him 11:00 the next day.
This is a scam. When you receive a call like this, visit ftc.gov and file a complaint, providing as much information as you can.
Sometimes the scammers use the US Mail as part of their scam. If so, visit the US Postal Service site DeliveringTrust.Com for more information. DON'T BE A VICTIM!!!

Mr. Patsy,

Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with Advance Fee scams, as my elderly father has been mixed up with these scumbags for almost a year and a half.

I have learned so much the Hard Way, that I am publishing a blog on the subject, in the hope that others will not get taken the way my dad has.

It can be found at: http://scamjammers.blogspot.com/

I too just recieved an interesting phone call this morning.  As well as last Friday, and again yesterday on Monday.  That I have deffinately won a Big Prize amount, $5.5million and I needed to call this number to claim it.  She said they were of Gold Rush Sweepstakes, which I have entered in the past.  When I put this search number in, and saw these other people scammed out of their hard earned money.  Well this is the end of it for me. They tell you you have to send them money to complete verifications.  Ask them for an address, and you will eliminate the delivery fee.  They will tell you some place 2 or 3 thousand miles away.  Not the Las Vegas address, they say you are calling.  I mean, I am stoked and thought I had won, then again this is the 1st of April, 2009.  What an April Fool!

I just got a call from this number, also stating that I had won $5million to be wired or check delivered.  I told them I would do some research and get back to them, but based on the other experiences with this same number, my research is done.  Another scam.

I know how difficult this must be for you. You let your guard down and payed a price. I was also the victim of this scam a lesson hard learned. I beleive this same operation is connected with the AMC scams. I say this because at first all correspondence was coming from a (876)area code (Jamaica). The names are always generic. Mr.Miller, Mr. Black, Miss Green, etc. I got so fed up I started asking alot of questions, although they were not rude or abrasive they were adament this was not a scam and you can "trust them". They call several times day or evening to ask for funds for government stamps, insurance, fees, delays, etc. Then another party calls saying how the "first party" is scamming you and they are from Washington, DC and are well aware of the scam coming from Jamaica, WI and how the FBI are involved in the situation. Then they tell you, you have indeed wne a check.  They have more detailed information that is legetimate but they also ask for money for interstate taxes (a one time deal) and if you are skepital they then insist that this is the real thing and that u can "trust them". If u delay a action the payment goes up due to delays.
I checked out names that were used (supposedly out of the Federal Reserves Bank in Miami, Florida} there was no evidence of their existance. The  Washington number that was being use to correspond "did not exist".  Was "not registered" "anywhere". They also promised to reimburse all monies that was lost as long as you had the receipts.  Sounds reasonable doesn't it. It's also funny that every person that contacted you had that beautiful Jamaican accent. Although the people claiming to be from Washington knew of payments made they always were wrong in matching up payments to the parties sent to. They tell you that FBI agent(s)will escort them to your home to escort you to the bank but they need directions to your home. HELLO, THEY ARE THE FBI!!! For now on, don't be fooled because I can tell ordinarily u are a intelligent reasonable person. When things are too good to be true, they usually aren't. Use this as a lesson learned. I will do the same. Hang in there and don't continue to beat yourself up for this life lesson. You are a fine person.  Take care.

I was given a message to return a call to this number, 1-876-567-7310. When I called, I couldn't even understand what she said the company name was. She went on to say that I had won 5.5 million. Then, was told for delivery of my check, it would cost me $775 and or if I wanted it wired to my account it would cost me $1275. When asked if I wanted my winnings to be publicized or not, I opted for publicized and the operator seemed stunned. However, she went on to explain the costs and how I wanted the check, delivered or wired. If delivered, someone from their company would come out, deliver the check and accompany me to my bank to verify to the bank that the check is legit so that I can cash it. When I started to ask questions regarding the 5.5 mil, she started to get irritated with me. She was telling me that I was wasting her time and that our conversation was being recorded, and how she had to turn away other callers because I made it seem like I was interested in my winnings, etc. Anyhow, she was getting very upset with me for asking too many questions so she hung up on me.
