Spam call from 876 408-1547

my dad came to work today and asked when i was going to lunch i said i can go right now there isnt much going on today he said go clock out and wait for me at the house some one might show up ill be ther in 20 minutes.well i get home make me a sandwich eat turn on the TV dad walks in with i green card in his hand i asked him what he has he replies a green dot money pack i asked what for he said he won publishers clearing house he needed to pay 1% of the check as a delivery fee he then said we won 950,000 and a new  mercedes. he then said i need to call this guy back he had the name and number joted down on a peice of paper i asked to barrow that as he was calling had him follow me in my room so i could do some google searching cuz most scamers will use the same scam more then once using the same names in this case frank parker found that he has scamed before at this point i was like ok were going to have some fun with this guy had dad put it on speaker phone we sound remarkably alike on the phone i asked were he was calling from he said newyork i then asked why his area code was from jamaca wich i had googled then i asked his supervisors name "David dash" googled it asked for the ceo of publishers clearing house he said john Pinocchio the real ceo is andrew goldberge btw i google that as well i compiled a large list of evidence puting holes in his story and then asked called him out one item at a time he was geting down right mad and rude. i mean he was calling me stupid and im like what your calling me stupid for not falling for your scam and out smarting you. really?

Same thing as everyone else - got a call from "David Dash" - he had a very nasal-y, high pitched-voice and was pretty hard to understand. Gave me a number to call "Agent Morgan" - 18765457213, ext 5 -  and I of course looked this up online to see if this happened to anyone else. He claimed to be from PCH,  but clearly that is not the case.

They Are Scammers You Can NOT Be Nice!!

Got the same Publisher's Clearing House scam - and the guy called from this number like 10 times in one day!  Plus, because I generally try to be nice, I was really polite even though I wasn't falling for it . . . and I think he tried to pick me up at the end!  He said, "I might call you after I get off work," and when I tried to laugh it off, he got pushy about it.  Creepy!

David Dash called my house today over a few times wanting to speak with my sick mother. Once I wouldnt let him speak with her he became irate with me. I ended up taking his name and number and hanging up on him because he started to ask questions about me. He did not call from the same number as many of you listed, but from a 876-408-1547. He called at 10pm and my mother answered the phone. He told her he was calling from his home office and works for UPS. He said he had a package to deliver to her, and asked if she would be home tomorrow. She said no, and to not call here again unless it was M-F during regular business hours. She then told him if he shows up, we will have our guns loaded and waiting on him. This man rubs me wrong.

He called me with his number blocked today.  I guess he finally learned how to do it. First thing he said was that I called him?  Same deal, UPS driver, $250,000 dollars, will I be home today.  I had some fun with him for a while cause I've heard of things before.  So I strung him along for a bit, got his hopes up, then silly little David Dash got mad at me, called me a MF'r and told me to hang up the MF'n phone.  Then he hung up on me.  Wow, he sure showed me.  {sarcasm}  
I hope he calls back again, I'm gonna have me some more fun.

Called. I'm older. Fell for it then call back for more money

I got same call today n when my mother n law looked it up some r saying they charge ur phone bill different amounts...... not sure if they did mine.... hoping not... what could one do to stop charges when that happens? This guy even knew my address... kinda scary.... wondreing where they got my info... makes u wonder...

at 4 p.m. on January 5 I received a call asking me if I would be at home and telling me he was a UPS delivery driver bringing a check for $250,000 from Publishers Clearing House. He directed me to call 1-876-875-3248 and ask for Agent Malone at Extension 5. The UPS truck had been at our house a few minutes before the call. I looked the number up and found this site.

Received a call from 876-875-3248 on my cell phone!  I had turned off phone as I was in a meeting and as the caller did not leave any message, I decided to go on line and check where area code 876 is.....Kind of scary when I read the other e-mails...and how the heck did they get my cell phone number???  As I am a senior; it really disturbs me that they might be targeting other seniors who aren't as "alert" as I am to possible scams...what a shame!

The same people called my brother.  Didn't know addresses but gave a bogus number to call to get more info.  They wait till u give them info and the use it against u.

got a phone call from this David Dash character... very push!!! once I told him to not take rude tone with me and to remove my f--kin # from this list he said "f--k you" and hung up.  I called him back and its a b--ch a** punk that kept talking sh-t!!!  Everyone needs to call him back and crowd his line!!!

I too received a phone call from David Dash! He never asked my name or my address...I hung up seeing how I have not entered the Publishers Clearing house contest in over 20 years!! He called back yesterday and still wanted to deliver the package.  I told him first of all the UPS company NEVER calls their customers to deliver packages.  I tried to get some information on him and he refused to give any.  I then told him that I had reported him and his phone number to our police department and he became extremely irrate, and threaten to come and do bodily harm.  
I then hung up and called the police again, talked to a Detective gave him all of the information.  He suggested I have an officer come and take a report.  I then proceeded to call Bank of America and asked if they ever send out certified packages and of course low and behold!! She said "No."  I then called the UPS office in my town and the girl told me that they have been receiving many phone calls from this man.
The detective and the officer have left voice messages to David Dash....I wonder how he felt about what he heard.  So far no phone calls.  My advice to you is to contact your police dept. tell them what is going on, and let them take care of it.  I feel much better knowing that this man is being investagated. He may not be caught, but if your police dept calls him maybe just maybe they will shut down their scam.  
Please any elderly people if you get a call from this man....hang up!! As they say on the news "If it is too good to be true then it probably isn't true!"  Good luck to everyone and I am happy to know that he is now exposed!!!!

Got the same Publisher's Clearing House scam. And they were delivering a check from Bank of America. I was to call 876.365.7469. I said "come on by, I'm home". Then he hung up

wow they called me today and the guy said he was a carrier and had a certified check for me .. same story as everyone else ... then i thought it was a scam and i told him why would i have to get something from the bank to get a check and i thought publishers clearing house showed up at your house and asked about bank of america so the guy told me to hold and came back on the phone saying call james kenedy at bank of america .. so i called the same mf answered the phone and tried to tell me there was a check with my name on it and the fee is though publisher clearing house and not them so he just new i need to pay it to get the check lol .. so they decied to call me repeatedly after that and i answered and said i already know your a scam i already checked with publishers clearing house and even on there web site it says *** they do not make phone calls ... it doesnt cost anything to win and they just show up at the house and he percesently told me that was wrong and i need to say on the phone and go to the bank and the reciept will explain everything ..... and btw the area code 876 is Jamaica ((( I HATE a** holes ))

Today I got a call from a David Dash stating he was from Publishers Clearing House and wanted to know if I was at home so he could deliver a large check to me. I asked him what is my address is and he could not answer me, then he gave me an other number to call and talk to his manager "Agent Malone "at 1-876-599-8955 ext 5. What a joke and a jurk. LOL!!!!!!!!

I got a call asking if I was going to be home because Bank of America was delivering a check to me today and it would be by certified mail.

This was a scam call about a publishers clearing house delivery, asked me to call another number and that I should go to a western union and give 200 dollars to get the $250,000 in winnings, clearly a scam.
