Selling a security system.  They are located at 31835 8 Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152.  And 248-474-4547 is their main number.  Their website is http://integsecurity.com/new-system/ .  I called the number back, and a recording with classical music playing in the background stated, "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line."  At times, it gives you the option to press 1 for more info or 9 to be placed on their 'do not call list'. Pressing 9 simply disconnects you from the call and nothing else.

The best way to get rid of these people is to show them telemarketing doesn?t work. Perhaps they could be given a fake address that doesn?t exist to go to and install the service at. They have to pay someone to drive there only to do nothing.  It may get the point across.

You aren't just looking at possible penalties for false and deceptive advertising, if you are disguising your "promotion"  stickies to resemble UPS delivery notices, you could be risking a lawsuit based on both copyright infringement and undermining the  "good will" value of the UPS corporate name.   I'm surprised you haven't received a "cease and desist" warning from UPS yet.

these companies are just trying to make you aware of a product that you may need they are not pressuring
you to buy. If you don't need a alarm ignore the notice..........But since many of you didn't see the person put the notice on your door hmmmmm.........Maybe you do need an alarm!!!!!!

Amazing.  Imagine the lives of people who would object to a creative advertisement. Lazy people. It is so very easy to get mad and to complain. But think of the intelligence and creativity and energy it takes to develop a business from scratch. And think how difficult it is to promote with the Federal government stopping free-enterprise as it is. The complainers should be thanking those people who advertise with post-it notes. They are contributing to a better country.

Also a side note, we are in CA and they stuck it on our garage door! I will be turning over to police!

Scam-A fake Delivery Notice...similar to others posting but this one has our last name and address printed on it. So scary! Anybody else's have that detail? When I call they won't answer my questions!

I got one yesterday, he run away otherwise  he could  have been  very sorry for getting  110 feet in my yard  to put his crap. I was  about just protecting my property with  him.

Trust me! Think again if you think you have security system with SAFETOUCH!  Those guys where problem trying to help, "No Touch" is the Scam!

I got one today.  My husband called and the guys asked to speak with Gelin (the owner of my home, we rent).  Anyway, the guy told my husband to forget it.  When my husband asked if there was an actual delivery, he hung up.

I was at home when my dog started barking at the front door, when I looked out  I saw a man walking away and he had left a sticky note on my door.  Same as everyone else...it was a delivery attempt notice.  I watched this guy walk to every house on my street leaving these things behind.  So, I called the number on the fake notice and they answered " Thank you for calling the National Redemption Center", I told the lady about the fake delivery notice and I wanted to know who the heck was leaving these things all over my neighborhood here in Jax, Fl.  She said she was sorry but her computer just went down and she couldn't give me any information concerning the company... yeah right. I asked to speak to a manager, who also gave me the run around. So, I found this website and saw that it was Scott's Alarm so, I called Scott's  Alarm Inc. @  (904) 265-2000 and spoke to someone named Laura.  She was VERY AWARE of the fake delivery attempt notices and said it is for an alarm  system promotion. I told her that I did not appreciated them sending people to my property promoting their companies advertising especially when using deceptive means, and when I have a sign posted NO SOLICITING.  I also told her about calling the number on the notice, she stated that it is a call center that handles the calls for new customers for Scott's Alarm Inc.  I informed her that I would be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals Office concerning the matter.  who knows if it will do any good but we'll see. I say give Scott's a call and let them know how you feel then maybe they will stop!!!  I think this is a very mean thing to do especially this close to Christmas, there will be people out there who believe there really is an undelivered package.

They left a "Delivery Attempt Notice" from a General Electric authorized dealer on my door with this number on it.  I wasn't expecting any delivery, so it's definitely a sales call.

I was home here 3:30pm, no knock, no bell.
Someone I know came by and said, "you know you missed a delivery?", I said no way, I was here in the front room. sure enough there was this UPS style of notice, with the same coloring too.
The person that left it is luckier than they know. If I did see them walk to my door and walk away myself, things could have turned out bad with unknown reasons in the forefront to the trespasser.
If this an alarm company using GE products and it looks like GE condones this practice by the looks of the labels, I'm not using GE products if I can help it. This need to stop! The posting of "BILLS on private property is against the law without the owners consent. I also have for years, display a sign on my door by the bell button that reads; "NO SOLICITING"! Maybe I need to add one under it that reads; "VIOLATORS WILL BE SHOT"!

The little GE HOME Technologies isn't even registered as a legal business.

its a sales call. they also leave delivery attempt notice on your door when you call they try to sell you and alarm.

We, along with our neighbor across the street, also found this "note" on our doors yesterday.  I guess the fact that we have SAFETOUCH signs all around our house made no difference - if this is coming from Scott Alarm. We live in the Beauclerc area (N. Mandarin). Hummmmm.....

We got the same note from GE. Who should I call to report this scam? I doubt the police will do anything but someone needs to stop Scott Alarm from doing this.

I got the postit note as well.  I was suspicious because nobody in our household was expecting a package.  So I checked the number online and got the messages here.  Thanks people!  I also checked the license number in tiny print at the bottom of the sticky note and it it for Scott Alarm.  They are being sneaky, they can't call us if we're on the no call list, however, if we call them...

We received a stickie note on our front door Friday 10/21/11 from GE authorized dealer GE home technologies stating final attempt checked in red, number of pkgs (1) route code: 011003, must call between 4:30pm-8:30pm Mon-Fri, phone number 877-235-3331.

When I scanned the barcode it comes up with http://scottalarm.com  with the title page saying "We're there when you're away"

I just saw the guy walk up to my front door with the little postit note.  He put it on the door and then went to the next door neighbor. I wonder where he is keeping that package, because all he had was a little postit note pad.

Just found a sticky note that is made to look like a UPS missed package reciept.  This is fraud as far as I am concerned.   There are check boxes and one is already filled in with a red check mark, obviously it is printed this way.  Included on this sticky note is a symbol to look up info on my cell phone.  Also route code printed but they tried to make the print look hand written.  same with the box with the "1" No of Pkg(s).   I live in a no soliciting area and this kind of thing happens far too much for my liking.  Every week someone is at my door trying to sell me something.  OBVIOUSLY this is just another scam in a long line of bull.  I am not calling their number, but the next time they come on my property I will let the dogs out.
