I get calls EVERY day - sometimes 2-3 times. I check my VM and there's no VM msg left. If I'm home when the call comes through, I NEVER answer it, as I've had fraudulent calls come through from Dominica that were added to my phone bill.

This is a computer calling.   Its just harassment for no reason.  Maybe they catch a sucker now and then.

I got several messages and called back. Turns out it was not me they were looking for but this was a new phone. When I explained who I was compared to who they show had my number, they were very nice and removed my number. Seems simple enough.

They called twice but never left a message once. I would think that leaving a message is important

Twice in 20 minutes. I just don't answer it.

I am now getting calls from 1877-397-0619. Calling for someone that I dont know...

These two numbers 1-877-397-0619 and 1-855-827-4514 The are supposed to be a collection agency or billing department for Doctors Regional Medical Center. They keep calling me for a Stephen Andrew on my cell phone. I asked if they had another number for this person and they told me the last 4 digets were 0110. I told them I did not know him and this has been my number for 10 years. I don't know if I can block them on my cell phone.

These people are harassing me. How do I get them to stop calling my phone?

I only get a partial message on my voicemail, So I never  answer but they call me 3-4 times a day

2 PRE-RECORDED messages were left on ANSWERING MACHINE for my land line from this number ... 1 on 12/24/13 at 10:45am, and again on 12/30/13 at 6:15pm ... both identical, asking for person who is NOT at this number; both say to call back (allegedly to remove #, but attempts to call are unsuccessful); both contain direction to hang up if your are not the party identified ... then both continue with "by continuing to stay on the line, you have confirmed that you are "so-and-so" ... then come identification that they are Patient Account Services; this is attempt to collect debt; and directions to call back to make arrangements.
I'm sorry, but my answering machine does not understand the direction to hang up .... so it had no choice but to continue to stay on the line (the 3 sec pause is not long enough to shut off a voice-activated machine).  This appears to violate at least two provisions of the FDCPA  .... identifying that this is in fact a debt collector, without verifying the identity of the recipient; and disclosing an alleged debt to a third party without the direct consent of the alleged debtor.
A website, showing this number (along with a message that they are "sorry if you can't get through by phone ... undetermined problem") attempts to get you to send an email instead to arrange for payments ... and also provides this address:

I will be writing (certified mail, return receipt) ... including a verbatim account of the message they leave, with copies of the letter to my state attorney general and the appropriate federal agencies.

 

Quite calling me when I pick up the phone they say nothing.

They do not answer! They only call on the weekends

Something about a medical bill but we have heath insurance and all our claims are paid. The person on the line had a accent from India or some place like that. He just hung up.

This company has called me numerous times on my land line and cell phone for a Myron Johnson, I call them back to have my numbers removed and months later they start calling me back again for Myron Johnson. I never heard of a Myron Johnson before this.

I received a call from this number expecting to make payment arrangements but all I heard was "type type type, click".  They said nothing.  They just hung up.  :\

We keep getting calls from this number for Jose Sanchez.  We tried to call back but do not get an answer.  Looking at the web it seems to be a collection agency.  Since we are not Jose, do not know Jose it is wasting their time and ours.  Can someone stop this practice?

This number calls me every day twice a day asking for someone else. I keep telling them they have the wrong number and I have complained repeatedly. They said they will quit calling but will not stop! I want them To stop!

So what type of debt are they saying you owe?  My son went to a local hospital but was never seen.  This number has called him and said he owes them money for that visit.  I am curious what types of businesses earned you a "collection" call

I have received several calls from this number but when I try to return the call, it's dropped. The recording says that they're Patient Account Services (PAS), a debt collector.  When I called PAS at the 800 number I found on internet, they told me that the call was coming from Florida and that they are not affiliated with that company.  They will neither confirm nor deny the legitimacy of the company.  If this is not a scam, why don't they answer the phone and why was PAS so passionate about not being affiliated with them.

This number keeps calling my phone and asking for a person I dont know. They keep calling over and over. Ive complained to them-they mentioned they would never call again...but they do. I finally put a block on the number thru my phone.

Barely understood words patient account services.  Message was not audible. I think this is a telemarketing company as I saw another comment that this phone number was offering insurance.

This is a collection agency - Patient Account Services.  They think that they are slick.  Just don't answer the call.
