I actually asked "Carlos" who had Indian accent twice to make sure that I won't have to do anything if I don't want to continue the service. He assured me twice that after the free service period I will be contacted to see if I want to continue. When I called back after 7 charges of almost a hundred dollars, we actually listened to the conversation again and the lady said they still had a right to charge upon a bunch of word play. I called AT&T after the suggestion I read here and they said they maybe able to refund me. I'm crossing my fingers and from the bottom of my heart, I wish these people hell!

EBRIDGE has called me 6 times in the past hour.

First phone call: Them: We want to verify your address.
ME: No. I'm not interested.
Them: Can I speak with the owner?
ME: I am the owner. I'm not interested
Them: Were not trying to sell anything were completely free.
Me: CLICK

Second phone call: Them: is this the owner?
Me: yes.
Them: can you verify you information?
Me: NO
Them: Can you verify your information?
Me: I cant understand your accent
Them: Can you verify..
Me: CLICK

Third, Fourth, and Fifth... same phone call.

Sixth Phone Call: Them: Can I speak with the owner?
ME: NO STOP CALLING ME
Them: I don't understand, can you verify your information?
Me: (I'm yelling now) If you do not take me off your call list I will go after you for harrassment. Do I make myself clear?
Them: Yes, sorry.
Me: I'm not the least bit interested in your scam so just leave me alone!
Them: okay have a nice day.

I'm giving it one hour before they call again!

They "say" they called numerous times...however, I got no messages!
No, "Hey this is ----from ibiz trying to contact you. Call me back at---"
all of the sudden I get this $100 charge.
Whenever I checked google...not once did I see an add for my company

They have been calling here all day and hanging up when we answer.  I finally hit the redial button, they said they were from ebridge. (what ever the hell that is.)  I asked her what it was going to take to get my number out of her data base.  She promised after 72 hours I would get no more calls.
So we'll see.

Someone called today, 12-15-10 and in a foreign (to the U.S.) asked me a lot of verification questions regarding my business saying it was for internet info. I verified the address and phone number, then he told me something from the accounting department would be sending me something. When I said, Whoa!, what do you mean accounting department? He flat out said F*** you. I said excuse me? He repeated, F*** you! and hung up.
He said the business name was e-bridge and 877-442-0144 is the number on my caller I.D.
When I tried to return the call a message came on saying, all circuits are busy.
Any suggestions?

They have called repeatedly. At first, I told them I was not interested in their servic. Then I told them to take me off their call list. Now I'm telling them I am going to report them for harassment. The number they call is my business line, and it is annoying to have them continually calling. I get at least 1 call a day from these people. Who would buy anything they are selling, anyway?

When I receive call from strange area code numbers, I switch to fax machine. And, it just beep! beep! beep!.

Same story here. I don't know who in my office gave approval for this but I simply called Verizon and they credited by account and put a block on so no outside party can charge to our phone bill. Personally, whenever someone calls to "verify" information I just hang up on them.

This Co has charged me twice now on this SCAM. They are full of s*** and well
equiped and ready to catch us all of guard. I have been a victim twice and they
wont let you go without the $100.00 charge.  They are criminals.

I got scammed too!  It happened exactly as you said.  I finally got them to refund only half of the $200.00 they charged me on my Verizon bill.  They are an awful company who should be ashamed of themselves.  I am thinking of filing a report with the Better Business Bureau, but they have wasted so much of my time and energy already....that's how they make their money, they wear you down!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY!!! This company is a complete scam. they called and spoke with one of my employees and convinced her to authorize a "FREE" trial, which she approved, not realizing that we would then be charged $99/month thereafter! I had no idea that 4 months later I would come to find that we were being charged that via our Verizon Bill! I read some of the posts below and see that we are not the first company that they have done this to. I love the eloquent response from their representative - but it is FULL OF CRAP! They simply mislead people and then charge them!!! The best part is that when i called and spoke with one of their reps, i was told that they will have someone from their audio department call me back in 3-5 days. That's nice - so i can hear how one of my employees was duped into agreeing to receive this "FREE" service! What a horrible way to run a company. Like I said - STAY AWAY!!!! BTW - If you are in the same boat as I am with regards to Verizon billing, you can just call them and they will take the charges for the last 3 months off for you and will prevent these scam artists from charging your account again! Wait for the the databank to switch to a live drone.

They will answer "hello", Hello ....
SAY NOTHING.
They will disconnect, but stay on the line until you hear the second tone and then disconnect.
This will give you a little revenge as it will tie up their line for little longer. A good drone will actually place you on the NO RESPONSE in their database and when they sell said list to other scam companies, hopefully your number will not be put on it.

BTW, never say "YES" in response to ANY question.
I know this is hard as they usually ask "is this XYZ?"
If you answer anything in the affirmative, you may get a charge on your phone bill and when you complain they will produce an edited call that claims you said YES to their service.

Be careful.

Never answer just call several times a day - I am operating a business and this is very annoying.

I have been to the address @ 142 s. Main Adrian, MI. The windows are papered over and there is no evidence of any legit business - talked to the mail carrier who said it was very srange and rarely has mail, cannot see inside - used to be occupied by a photo shop that moved across the street.-maybe it will just burn down or blow up one day soon with all the foreign b*****ds crawling around- WHY is this b***s*** allowed to interfere with the rest of us that actually work for a living....who wants to join me on a mission????

CONSTANT CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER. THEY HANG UP IF YOU DON'T ANSWER. IF YOU DO ANSWER, THEY REFUSE TO SPEAK CLEARLY IN ENGLISH THAT I CAN USDERSTAND. WE HAVE ASKED THEM DAILY TO STOP CALLING US AS WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR PRODUCT/SERVICE AND WE HAVE REPEATEDLY ASKED THEM TO PUT US ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST AS WE HAVE DONE WITH THE GOVERNMENT. THEY STILL KEEP CALLING.

Some want your birth month and year.  I refuse to give any personnel info, so this morning I got a call from a different company and she said as long as I do not finish the info they will call back repeatly, I told her I was not giving info and take us of the list.  She said she would, but I am sure it will continue, it always does.  All these phone calls keep us from getting the important calls!!

Caller said they were from Ebridge but could barely understand anything they said. Asked to speak to someone who spoke English more clearly. Caller asked "Do you understand $%#% you". Asked them to repeat it and they said it again.

I recognize the number on my caller ID. I don't answer any number that I don't recognize. Period. I've seen 4-digit numbers and even one with 00000000. Lots of mistrust on this end.

I received a call from the telemarketers, and I actually do know a person named John MacLeod.  How do you know this person's name?  After you respond to me, I will see if these two people are one and the same.  If they are, I certainly will ask him to take all our names off the list!!!

Some fool named Maxine something or other called telling me she was from ebridge and my company had been chosen to be in some sort of premier listing.  LUCKY ME!!!!!

Anyway, she asked if the company name she had "on file" was the correct name and I told her NO.

She said really?, repeating the company name again.  Again, I repeated no.

"Oh, well is this a business or a private number?"  A private number I said (a lie, but since she offered me an easy out, who am I to turn down such an opportunity to never hear from these morons again? - at least for a little while anyway).

With that revelation and her new found information, she informed me should would update her records, thanked me for the call, wished me a good day and hung-up.
