These people represented themselves as Glass Mountain Capital and a collection agency, called and looked for specific individual. I said I was the person they are looking for. The other party said fine but they needed my address or social to make sure they are talking to the right person. I said no and will not give out any info. That was the end of the conversation.

Know your time limits.  If you had an old debit and it's been written off and a company such as this calls you and gets you to agree to pay them even if it's a dollar it will reestablish you debit.  Meaning after all those years it can be reported against you and you will be held to the payment terms.  DO NOT FALL for this.  I had one try after 18 years.

You are charging me on my bank statement for which you have no right to do. I have tried to contact you but to no avail.  Sounds suspicious to me!

The charges on my bank statement are fraudulent charges that have never been explained to me.  I am going to dispute it with the credit card company and the bank.  I will not pay.

If this is not resolved, I will call the FCC and the Prosecutor's Office.

I been looking up GMC's peoples complaints for awhile and finding out they are using different numbers and names and still calling me.

I'm going to go ahead and get me a comsumer lawyer and sue them. They waited awhile and start back calling my phone number with a different numbers and names. I knew that woman was crazy, been calling me now for 4 years.

She bought an uncollectable debt, 10.00 dollars an hour does not go far plus commission (that she's not making) don't pay much if she is able to get it.

Poor woman need to get a real job. Array Services,Calvary Collection and many more names. They been skip tracing for 4 years and all they have is a phone number with no progress. Stupid GMC.

They are also calling from local landlines in the area and leaving the 877 number as a return number. They have called my cell phone many times already. I spoke to one rep, who could barely form a sentence or spell his name

same company diff. telephne number 915-440-2953.second time they called using yeet another number..Told them I owe nothing. but they are persistant. After I obtained callers name I explained to him I was filing a report with the attorney general of Texas complaining that he was negotiating telephone sex with my wife. He hung up quickly.

I just got a call from this number also. The lady asked for be but had my name switched around as if my first name was my last name...and my name is Patricia. She didn't sound very intelligent. I asked what it was in regard to and she said we couldn't go any further until we verified the last 4 digits of my social security number. Then she gave me 4 numbers and then waited. I think she was hoping I would give the correct last 4 numbers.  I told her the numbers did not match mine and she hung up. Irritating!

They say GMC credit services when i call back. I dont have any business with them at all.  This is NOT GMAC credit. This is either a scam caller or someone who buys junk debt and tries to collect. I did talk to them but he was very rude when that didnt work he threatened me with physical harm, so i hung up on that fool. He then called back using many 4 letter words. After i said im calling the police he hung up but said " You WILL hear from me or see me soon" , Sounds like a threat to me. Either way i would advise you NOT to talk to these low life scumbags.

They just called my house 4 times in a row from 6:548 am to 7:01 a.m for someone else. I obtained all their information (GMC collection svc) also Id'd as (Elpin and Elpin law firm) I quickly advised them if in fact they were a law firm then they would in fact know the laws as to harrassment and calling times. I then Filed a complaint with the FTC. and I will Sue them for each violation

This company (a man named Sal and said he was with GMC) called my work (a local number showed up on caller ID) and asked for an employee that works out in the plant.  When I told him that person wouldn't be able to get to the phone he said that it was an emergency and that he'd spoken to that person's wife and needed to speak to him immediatly.  So I got that person on the phone with me and he said he didn't know anything about it and that he would call his wife.  I told Sal @ GMC that he would not be able to talk.  So then he asked me to take a message for this particular employee to call him back at this 800 # and after that he wanted to speak with someone at Human Resources with our company which is based out of another location and then he asked for that number...not sure what this guy was thinking...but he was really being a jerk over the phone...

Just got a call...came up as a local number..7044611002..they didnt leave a msg..called back to hear intro..hung up..funny..come across as GMC Credit..guess they wanting you to think it is something to do with a car loan..found on internet their acutal name...never heard of them...ran credit report, nothing from them or portfolio.

I just got a call from them from a debt they say took place 2001, they couldn't identify who the original creditor was and the amount they said I owed was outrageous!  They said a certain company and I didn't recognize the name, then another and again I did not know, then they said it is probably a retail company.  Shouldn't they know this info.  Not only that the same girl called me all 4 times, usually you get a call from 2 or 3 different people but the same person each time.  

Not only that I had filed for bankruptcy 4 years ago and any debts I had prior to that are null and void.  

Be careful of this company because they have no clue what they are doing.

I just received a call at my place of employment.  I asked them to remove the number from their files and they told me once I take care of the debt, they would remove it.  I told them I was at my place of employment and could not discuss it.  I don't know who they are.  But don't they have to remove a number as soon as you tell them to?

they are also Calvary Portfolio Services.  i started getting calls yesterday regarding a debt they say they purchased.  they inflated the balance owed, the account was never sold, i spoke with the company myself, and they asked me how much the actual balance was if it was ncorrect, did I remember how much it should be..WOW...i have reported them to my credit card company.

They've just recently started calling my house.  Interesting since I don't owe anything.

Glass Mountain Capital aka GMC Credit Services... an aggressive collector of old debts... usually hired by companies who purchase junk debts in the form of bulk portfolios for PENNIES on the dollar, and then turn around and try to use hardball tactics to collect the FULL debt amount for a huge profit.  Sometimes the debt can be many years old... something you thought disappeared... and then resurfaces.  They work on a contingency basis, which means they get a piece of the pie when they successfully collect, giving them a HUGE incentive & motivation to be VERY aggressive and intimidating.  The more they collect, the more they make. They will run credit reports and do asset searches to see what you've got that they may be able to take through legal means.  I've been told that they are right up there with the other mean, nasty, and scrupulous collectors - such as Collect America aka Law Office of Sidney Mickell.  Know your rights - and assert them - learn the basics.  All debts have to be validated (meaning actual specific written proof of the debt), statute of limitations, etc.  If the debt is not yours and they keep harassing you, make sure you report them to the FTC, your local congressman, and the BBB.
