I received a call from a Peter Clark stated that he is calling from Nationwide Process Servers and that I needed to return a call to 877-669-0536 asap. I want him to stop calling and harassing me.

I got the same threatening call today. The man claimed to be Peter Clark from Nationwide Process Servers and said he attempted to unsuccessfully deliver legal documents to our home. Went on to say if we wanted to settle the claim out of court and avoid legal action we needed to call 877-497-0945 immediately.
I did not follow-up and do not plan to follow-up.

Same generic message. Automated vm, these people have nothing better to do with their time.

Same as everyone else. Peter Clark called from Nationwide Process Server on 02/04/14 although he did not say who he was calling for. Said he tried to deliver legal doc's but was unsuccessful & to call them back. Figured this was a scam but you have all confirmed it. Thanks!

Peter Clark has nothing better to do than make phone calls all day!!!!  I received the same call on my home phone 2/4/14.  Sounded legit, but knew we wouldn't be getting any legal papers.  I called the number back and got the music.  At this point I had left a message and given them my name and cell number.  I called the police department the next morning, who said it sounded like it was a scam.  I called the Nationwide Process Server to ask them protocal to processing service, they ever call to say they couldn't serve someone.  A friend told me to just google the number and I was lucky enough to find all these comments.   BTW they did call the home line again and tried my cell I did not answer.   After reading some of your posts,  I am expecting more calls. I guess because I called back I'm a possible good "victim of this scam"...Not happening.  Thank you everyone who reports these types of things.  We are all here to help each other.

I just got a message from this Peter Clark and and was worried at first but seeing these posts I'm glad I found out this was a scam. I don't owe anyone with that # money.

Got the same message as everyone else.  Voice mail id'd as Peter Clark of Nationwide Processing attempting to deliver legal paperwork.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Mine also said Peter Clark on my vm, but I did not call back. This man is rude to use the word 'retard'

Got a call from Peter Clark claiming he was with Nationwide Processor Servers and they attempted to serve me with legal papers.  Called the number back they asked me to verify my last 4 digits of my social I refused.  Another gentlemen got on the phone and claimed that I owed them $2,000+ dollars for a payday loan dating back to 2008

If anyone ever gets a call from 877-497-0945 it's a total scam. They will claim to be a debt collector or process server using the name Nationwide Recovery or Nationwide Process Servers, which are legit business names however, they are not associated with this phone number. They will threaten you and tell you they have been trying to serve you with a legal proceeding and claim you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if you do not either pay them a requested amount immediately, or meet them at a location of their choice to discuss. They will say they have been to your house and attempted service but were unable to locate you. They have your social security number, home address, phone number, names of relatives, current and past employer information, etc. This has happened to me twice now. They have recently called a past employer and left messages threatening legal action. A woman in Fort Myers recently fell for their scam and paid out thousands of dollars to a scam artist. I saw it on the news several months ago. Just remember to always do your research when you get any call that sounds suspicious. They prey on people who aren't familiar with legal processes and use illegal scare tactics.

This message was left on my voicemail - "This is Peter Clark and I am a process server.  I have been unable to contact you at your home to deliver papers.  If you don't call this number - 877 497 0945 - we will have to begin legal proceedings in your local county court."  I did call back but got a voice mail where the gentleman said to leave my "case number" and I would be called back immediately.  I had no case number and told him so and that he obviously was a lousy process server if they didn't know enough about me to figure out how to get a hold of me to serve papers.  I then hung up.  I figured it was a fraudulent operation.  Just ignore.

I just received a voicemail today from this same 1-877 number by some guy name Peter Clark. Yes, he used the same things he told many of you with threatening about a legal matter and that they will start court proceedings if I fail to comply.  He said he attempted to serve me paper which is a lie because there is always someone home and I have security cameras and no one has came to my front door to serve any papers.  Thank you for all this info.  I am not calling back.

David Goldman of the Shapiro Agency called me from 3305367464 and asked me to call him back civil or criminal prosecution and to call him back at 8884191426.  I see several people have received calls from this number, however the guys name is different.  How do these people get away with this?

Just got the same phone call from the same number as listed above! True scam artists that I hope get caught real soon. I punched in the number like the rest of the commenters. Then decided to call them back to let them know I have reported their number to the local authorities. The guy got real defensive and never gave me his name. Definitely don't lose sleep over these losers!!

Also got a call from Peter Clark from this number, left a VM saying he was from nationwide process servers trying to deliver legal documents, blah blah. Thank you all for posting this scam.

This Peter Clark is an "a***ole." He told me that he tried to serve me papers to my home but was unsuccessful. This guy is a convicted felon. When I call the 1-877-497-0945, it was an Arbitrator's Office but would not say who they work for.

i called peter clark back today 5 times and he didn't answer (by the way peter clark also uses "michael harris and michael colon" He left me 5 voicemails use three different names.. that clown..lol.. i left him a voicemail praying he would call back...I believe knows I caught on to this foolery.. This is a scam people!!!! please don't loose sleep over this non sense..He's not working alone. If you get a phone call from a "peter schipro" he is working with this peter clark. His number is  3305367464 and he will leave a voicemail tell you to call his office at1-888-419-4126.. i called them too.."peter answered and told me to hold on for 60 seconds while he get's my file. I told him I 'll hold (knowing this is all a fraud) they tried to confirm the last 4 of my ssn and i laughed and say no way.. i told them to go out and get real jobs like the rest of us instead of trying to scam hard working people.. then he told me don't worry about it I just continue with filing charges.. I told him go right ahead and I laughed some more.. then he told me that he was going to write my name on every bathroom stall so every "gay guy will call me... I got the exact same message left voicemail on my cell phone.  Very threatening.  They were calling for my ex-husband (been divcorced 30 yrs!) and they said it was a civil summons on a criminal complaint.  I told them I was in no way connected to him and to take me off their calling list.  Then this morning they have attempted to call my home phone.

this guy is a fraud... he left me 3 voicemails with 3 different names michael harris, peter clark and michael colon.. he told me he was attempting to send me legal documents unsucessfully. he told me to call back or i will be taken to court by my local county clerk's office.. i can't wait for him to call me back..i saved all of my voicemails.. also he will use a 330-536-7465 and a 1-877-343-3921

I got the same call today.  Annoying as hell.  Same story, but they asked if my name was Dawn.  I said NO, so they told me my number would be removed from the list.  This call came in on my cell phone, which annoys me because I am on the do not call list.  What a crock!  People are so gullible.  Don't fall for this crap.

I received a message from Nationwide Process Servers calling about a legal matter and that they have tried to serve me and failure to comply would result in them filing with the clerk's office, oooh scary - NOT!  They never said who they were trying to call.  I called the number back they left of 877-497-0945, got music then finally a voicemail where I told them their scam was so lame and laughed then hung up.  My caller ID showed the number of 877-343-3921 and when I called that it gave a noise like a fax machine.  Don't fall for this crap!  If they got you on the phone they would try to get your personal information, social security number, etc.  No legitimate collector, bank, etc. would EVER ask for that information on the phone.  

Do not call my phone number Anymore, You called the wrong phone number!!!
