My Mother received a call from GSA Management and Ron this morning. She lives in Texas. I live in California. The message was the same as all the previous ones .... looking for me .... under my maiden name .... wants to serve me ..... blah blah blah.  Ron now uses the last name Baker the phone number has changed to 877.214.1813 with the civil case number of CZ13Z14168X. Thank goodness for this site, I have reported them to the Florida Attorney Generals Office and the BBB.

The Florida AG raided a similar cluster of shakedown "collection agencies" in Orlando back in March.  Seized their assets and shut them down.

Well I got the same call today from a Califronia number and the number they gave me to call back is this 877-588-7426.  He never gave me his name but gave me a case number.  I believe this is a scam as well because all of payday loans I paid off and there is not a public record in my statement for a judgement.  I believe this is a scam.

I keep getting calls from these people, so do my parents & my boyfriend's parents. They state that they need to serve me paperwork. I sent them a letter requesting proof of debt & and advising that they are only allowed to contact me via mail only and they are no longer allowed to call me or my family. They stopped for a few months and started up again yesterday. Today I called them and they told me that the Fair Credit Reporting Act & Fair Dept Collection Practices laws do not apply to them and they are not required to provide any proof of debt. Don't bother calling the FTC, because they don't help, they only read from scripts. If these people feel that they are above the law and are allowed to harass me and my family, then I am allowed to mail & fax them all I want telling them to cut it out. I will be spending money I don't have to do this and I will not stop until they stop. Two can play this game.

I received the same call they called my dads and my son and now my work stating the same thing they've said to each of you.  This is crazy and I cant have them calling me at work I can lose my job, fist it was sarah calling now its laura calling me. I know i dont owe any money for any loans.

Total scam!  I was transferred to some guy that identified himself as Dexter.  I could tell right away that he was skimming through my credit report because he mumbled my maiden name, which I haven't used in over 20 years.  He claimed that I owed on an online payday loan that I supposedly took out in 2008.  I NEVER took out a payday loan in 2008, and when I informed him of this and told him he was free to contact my attorney to further discuss, he yelled that I would be served with papers tomorrow and hung up on me.

What a joke!  I obviously called him out and he got nervous.  I just hope that uninformed people do not fall for these scams.

How do I stop these unwanted calls?  They continue to call my parents number and say its urgent I contact them and give me a file # that begins with 13z....... . I fll into some hard times over 6 years ago but have paid off and continue to pay them.  How long will my credit get compromised and available to scam artist.  I'd appreciate any good advice

It seems these folks have decided to harass me again... ROFLMAO.  Let the games begin!!  
Of course, (this time) they stated the state they were doing business in was "Los Angeles" (DUH...guess I need to count the stars on the flag again.  Last I heard, LA was in CA!)
But, doing due diligence, I checked to see if "Civil Procedures Division" or "The Civil Procedures Division" was a company name listed in the state of California...NO surprise -- it is NOT.

I could hear the whole phone room working, all saying Civil Procedures Division...lol.  Well, it IS getting near the holidays.  Guess they think they'll have some good ones.  Little do they know that Jamar, Nate, Rick, and whoever they've added to their little ORGANIZED CRIME RING are JUST AS LIKELY to STEAL from their phone reps as they are from the people being called. -- So much for "honor among thieves."

Personally, I'm hoping this is going to be the holidays these folks get visited by FBI, Fed AG, Homeland, FTC, and all the other "alphabet agencies" and go to the "gray-bar hotel" for a few years!

they call me few minutes ago asking for james Maxwell and there three james Maxwell and they gave me a case number 13z89346 that they was going to sevice paper between 8 and 9 clock toworrow

These turds jus called my job and left a message 4 me to call them about possible civil charges against me. They asked 4 the last 4 of my social I said I ain't giving them no info on me and the lady got mad and said its ok we're gonna serve u anyway. I jus laughed. Its a a scam.

I have received a couple of calls from this number claiming that I would receive a court summons for a payday loan that I took out in 2009.  I did take out a payday loan in 2009, but declared bankruptcy in late 2009.  Any payday loan that I took out was listed in the chapter 13 bankruptcy.

The second call said that they had come by my place of residency, and could not deliver,  to deliver a court summons, and that I needed to call them immediately.  When I called, I was transferred to a Mr. Robert Jackson, and then put on hold forever.  I hung up.

just received same call today..same one time amount 698.13..same conversation..Michael Roberts was the guy I was transferred to.. said he was from gsa recovery..said I was going to have documents delivered tomorrow from 9-4pm...told him I was talkin to him to reschedule appointment...he said could not because to late to change or reschedule...told him that the 4 time payments sounded familiar to a similar time and that I paid...he said they had no recorded of payment ... come to think about it ..same company...callin them back..hmmm..be weary...was scamed before

this number calls my work and my cell phone- They have talked to co workers and stated information that they need to deliver legal documents to me. This is getting out of hand. I do not know what is going on and to be honest it is freaking me out.

Yes, they argued with me as well.  They are real silly.  I called the Police Department and they even called them for me.  It is so sad!!

(888) 314-5992. I called the 5992 number back and spoke with a Lori Pinder, she said she took the number off the list, we'll see what happens.

I recieved a call from them and was told that I owed them $500.00 and needed to pay that or go to court and have to pay over $2800.00 in court cost.I told them the address they had for me was no longer mine and that I had moved from there way before the loan they say I took out was done. They told me thay would see me in court.

I received a phone call this morning and was told to call 1-877-588-7426 said it was a civil case for Personal cash advanced. Case # 13z62324. I do not owe these people any money

This is beyond me and it never ends.  It starts out with someone calling saying they are trying to serve you with papers but no one is home.  You ask what is this about and they give you the 877-588-7426 number with a case number to call.  You call them and they tell you that you are being served and possibly arrested for bank fraud for a bounced check. you will never get arrested by these people.  for 1-2 weeks you will get a lot of phone calls so it looks like it is an urgent matter then once they realize the can't harrass you they stop calling and after a month or two they start again with different names and phone numbers but with the same debt.  I asked the companies name today and it was GSA Management in Charleston, SC but their address is private you can only mail to a PO Box in Orlando, FL no company would do business this way. When you google the company there is none.  Even if you had this debt I truly believe you will never be paying the company you may owe the money too and if it has been 3-4 years the original company is probably out of business because that is how these Pay Day Loan companies operate.

By the way, I work for a law firm - they would not call ahead of time to tell you that they are going to serve you court papers, it would just be done.  The guy also told me it was a criminal case, to which I laughed at him.  He obviously doesn't know the difference between a criminal case and a civil case.  It's amazing that these people are still in operation.  I had another company calling and harassing me every few months, their phone number would change but the name was always "Mr. Joyner".  Well Mr. Joyner made the mistake of calling my husband's ex wife looking for me last month, saying I had used her as a reference for a loan back in 2009 (I didn't even know the woman back then).  I got hold of Mr. Joyner on the phone and threatened to sue him for harassment and invasion of privacy.  Haven't heard from him since... but I'm sure it's just time before he's back trying to collect on some bogus debt.

I got a call from 323-393-4028 and the lady said would anyone be home to receive legal documents being served on me tomorrow.  I asked "served where"  she didn't know, told me to call 888-588-7426 with a case number.  So I call, knowing full well this is another scam debt collector, and get transferred 3 times before some guy tells me I owe $2,300 to Personal Cash Advance, but they will take a payment of $752 to settle the debt from 2010.  I told him that he needs to send me something in writing with the original creditor's name and address and account number, and my signature on this supposed "loan".  He said they already sent me that 45 days ago and I must have thrown it away, because that "happens all the time".  BS.  I told him he was full of cr*p and that he has 30 days to send me something in writing.  He said they will serve me tomorrow at my address (he has my correct address, but he has my old married last name that I haven't gone by in 4 years).  I told him that he was illegally harassing me with his tactics and that if he didn't send me the info I requested, then he could stick his scam up his butt, then I hung up.  He called me back from 888-983-5404 and his first words were "ma'am, you are facing two felonies..."  Seriously?!  I hung up on him.  I'm so tired of these scam artists.

The other numbers, however, don't provide enough information to definitely link with this particular group.  But, I will try to check back on them, periodically!

I WISH they WOULD actually file any court documents!! it'd be my dream come true!  But, I find it VERY hard to believe that ANY judge in his/her right mind would even hear the case.

LOL, that's funny, though -- a debt between $0-$500 now costing $2,346.83 ... HILARIOUS!

What's the contact info for Homeland Security?  I'd like to share what I have on these folks with them!! (Maybe save some tax dollars in the process!)
