Called me saying I had been approved for a loan.  Sounded great until they asked for payment up front.  This person's name was Michael Power.  Called from this number but had a different extension.  Looks like any calls from this number is a scam - they just use different extensions.

Wow, wish had taken the time to research this company in the beginning.  I too, got taken for $911.64.  An Elliot Grant contacted me and feed me the same line as everyone above me.  I was so excited that the opportunity presented itself, that I borrowed the $911.64 and had the person I borrowed from go to Wal-Mart and call Mr. Grant for directions and information on sending the collateral.  When the money wasn't there, I called and spoke to a disbursing department that told me the lender required and additional 6 months of collateral.  I told him that if I had that kind of money, why would I need a loan and that I wanted a refund.  November 7, that was the cycle date I was told . . . and of course, the day came and went with no refund.  There has to be something that we can do, class action or something!  I am sorry for all of us that placed a believe, that in this crazy, and mean world, there was someone that was actually willing to help those that needed it.  This really confirmed that you just can't trust anyone!  Damn!

same thing happend to me an I was dumb enough to fall for it and now i am out 4700 and supposed to be refunded tomorrow but when i call the # it says goodbye and disconects. any suggestions on getting these bastards please let me know. I talked with an elliot grant, Mr. Powers and a Mr. Smith, if I ever find them there mamma won't even recongize them.

I too was scammed. I am out $3500 that I had sent to them, the money was to be back in my account today. And, of course it was not there. I am getting the same thing when you call the number..."Goodbye" and their website is totally gone. I wish there was some way to catch these thieves, but I am afraid there isn't. I have filed a report with the FBI. But there are absolutely no guarantees they will find them. I still have the voice mails they left on my cell phone. So if anyone ever gets anywhere with an investigation and that would be helpful, let me know. jlschamp@cox.net

We have to find these guys, i sent them 1640.00, and was promised the money the very next day and ended up dealing with 3 people, Anna Stewart, Michael Power, and Stewart Thompson. We have to start working on  something together to catch these theives. Its wrong. By the way, Their website has magically disappeared

they got me too, I actually sent the money.  supposedly the lender backed out.  I was supposed to be given a refund.  Now the phone number no longer works.  I wish we could ban together and catch these theives!!!!!!!!!

This person called me and said that I was approved for a 8,000 loan. They asked me if I was still interested, until they told me that I had to pay up front. They asked me to send 1080.73 by Western Union.

A person named Elliot Grant from Conerstone Financial called offering a $5000 loan, with an upfront fee of $800+

These people are scam artists offering loans to people/businesses with poor credit.  They ask for money up front (illegal).  Names used:  David Hamilton, Michael Power, Jim Richards, Anna Stewart, Mark Smith
