I have received repeated calls (almost every 5 minutes) from this # 877-647-9008; I do not answer it, and the last time they called, they never hung up as if to force me to pick it up. As of yet, 15 minutes later, I am not picking it up. STOP

My wife was obtaining quotes for health insurance online. Danielle with Paramount Health group, ph: 877?647-9008 called my wife with a very good deal on health insurance with a new health insurance group that we could get in on. She said that she could not send anything in writing but we would have a 10-day free look. Being an insurance agent myself for over 10 years I knew this was bull right away. I called the number and someone answered who would not even give there 1st name or where they are located. I then googled scams and found this site. Once again proving that if it sounds to good to be true then it is probably a scam.

I have received 7 calls from this number today!  I don't usually answer calls from anyone I don't know, but after so many, I did answer twice, only to have no one respond!  The day isn't over.  I wonder how many more calls I will receive. Since I read reports from others getting calls from this number, I now know I will not bother to answer again!

I keep getting calls from this place. I haven't answered, but they call like 5 or 6 times within a few minutes. When I don't answer and it goes to voicemail, they call right back again and again. Every. Single. Day. So I called from another number to see what it is. I got the Name Paramount Health Group, and here I am. Thanks to all of you for the warnings. Now I know to answernext time they call...... and give the phone to my three year old.

YOUR COVERAGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PARAMOUNT HEALTH GROUP. IF YOU HAVE A CLAIM ISSUE THEN YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER BC PARAMOUNT HEALTH GROUP IS NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY AND CLEARLY YOU EITHER DIDNT GO TO A HOSPITAL IN NETWORK OR THE HOSPITAL BILLING DEPARTMENT DIDNT DO THEIR JOB. THE EMPLOYEES THAT WORK FOR PARAMOUNT HEALTH GROUP ARE ALL LICENSED INSURANCE AGENTS AND TAKE THEIR JOBS VERY SERIOUSLY, THEY ARE NOT "SMOOTH TALKERS" THEY JUST ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT WHERE AS CLEARLY, YOU DO NOT.

Dawn - please contact your hospital's business office - they may be able to offer you a hardship write-off for some of the total bill.  If they can't do that, at least you'll still be able to set up a payment plan with them.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!  I did and it has now become the WORST mistake EVER!!  I was admitted into the hospital over night; thought I might be having a heart attack, luckily for me it turned out to be a severe panic attack.  But I gave them all the insurance information at the hospital when I was admitted in December.  I just received a bill today; six months later for $12,000 from the hospital.  The insurance paid $50.  That was IT!  This company scams you, they are not clear what so ever on their insurance.  And when you call them to get exactly the details of this company, they give you a smooth talker who explains everything like you want to hear it but not as it is!  This company has changed hands three times in the year I have been with them.  I will be faxing them a cancelation letter on Monday and then need to call the hospital to see about making payments.  I am completely screwed now and will do whatever I can to make sure NO ONE falls under this bogus insurance company!!

I received a call and gave confidential information and then declined to verify the payment. He called me over and over for the next hour in an attempt to get me to verify the payment.  The number he gave me was 732-784-3000.  I was advised that he got me this great deal for insurance with the National Congress of Employees.  I should have known it was much too good to be true. . .I stopped the verification process when I discovered this information on the internet.

I received a call from this company this morning, and, as I told him, something that sounds too good to be true usually is. I told him I would call him later with credit card numbers, knowing it isn't a good idea. Now, after searching, I find so much about this company that turns me away from it, that  I will NOT deal with them again. I really appreciate all of the information I've found here on the internet, Thanks Al Gore!!! (sarcasm)!!!

We received a call after I had been on the computer for medical insurance quotes, but it wasn't the 877-647-9008 number but was the 732-784-3000 number. The reason for my searching for medical insurance was that my husband had lost his benefits from work in February because he was diagnosed with cancer & could no longer be employed. How dare they choose a person that has a pre-existing condition & needs medical insurance. It's a good thing that I didn't request insurance on me! Well, I feel so bad about this! I guess scammers do not have any compassion towards a person who really needs their money- just satisfy themselves is all that counts I guess!! This person represented himself as a broker, that made me some skeptical at first, but my husband needs medical attention & I let my guard down & the vulture did circle.
I didnt\'t give pertinent information out like I thought, but have alerted the police/sheriff's office & bank to stop the debit card used, but I know the application fee & 1st payment have been cashed. I've alerted our credit reporters& thank goodness they don't have my husband or my SSN!
I just hope we can recover our money when we cancel. Watch out for Paramount Health Giovonni!

I did not purchase a policy with this company, because I knew it sounded too good to be true, and I don't normally do business with telemarketers. But I was trying to be open-minded, since he called in response to a general health insurance quote survey we had filled out online. [We had immediately received a barrage of calls, and most I ignored, but decided to see if we could actually get a good quote.]

Received a call from Joe at Paramount Health. Don't usually talk to telemarketers, but I knew it was in response to the survey, and we definitely need new insurance soon. It was obvious that everything he offered fit my answers to his questions so that it sounded like a good deal. He was very friendly, without so much overly enthusiastic or pushy ways as most telemarketers.

Since he said we could set up for April 1 coverage, cancel by April 10, and not actually pay till March 20, I was verifying our info, thinking I could always cancel. I did come to my senses & realized that insurance or not, he could use my info for identity theft. Unfortunately, I had already given him my SSN by the time the thought came full blown. I did not give my husband's number, and was still going through with it until it came to giving him my cc or bank info. MY QUESTION: This is obviously a sleazy company, as far as insurance goes, but have they also been known to be involved in identity theft?

I too was called and bought insurance from this company the health insurance policy was issued under unified health one which totally stinks. Been trying to reach these people at Next level help group but to no avail. Trying to find someone to help me recoup my lost money. They told me they are based in Red Bank New Jersey any idea on who to contact for help.  As I need health insurance due to a disability.

I received a call from Jonathon Moralis from Paramount Health Group, a health insurance broker. He told us about a plan that sounded good but I said that I would not give any financial information until I saw a copy of the policy he was selling. He said that would come from the insurance company themselves, Beech Street Network. His high pressure calls kept coming though I received no information. One day he caught my husband on the phone and he gave him our financial information and 'signed up' for this plan. The $ is to come out automatically. Now I cannot get ahold of anyone at the numbers he gave us, the voice mail says the name of the company is Next Level Health Group (not what he told me), it is an unlisted number and still we have received not one piece of information from anyone associated with this. We want to stop payment but have no idea which of 3 or 4 company names it will be coming from. Phone numbers are the same other people are getting: 732-784-3000 (which is an unlisted number) and 877-647-9008.
