They ask for someone and then just hang up.

After not answering from this number several times (mostly during our dinner time) I finally answered and it was Discover Card selling services.  I listened to his ditty and then asked to be removed from their call list which he responded right away that he would.

they just call and never answer. i hate that.

I called them back and asked to be removed ( placed on the DO NOT CALL list)  and they were nice and said it would take up to a few days to remove me..

It's Discover cc. They are trying to sell services to you. More annoying spam from the cc companies.

Calls from this number are made to my phone once every half hour throughout the day.  I see it on my Caller ID.  I purchased a phone that blocks all unwanted numbers after they call me at least once.  The phone rings one time and then goes into fast busy; however, the calls keep coming every day on the half hour.  These people need to be stopped!  That is the reason why I stopped doing business with Discover years ago.

I called back the 877-780-9893 number and talked to Linda.  I told her that I have an elderly father and have about broken my neck to get to the phone thinking it might be my father when in fact it is this solicitation call.  She said I would be placed on the do not call list, but it could take up to 30 days for them to stop the calls.  We will see.  I am so sick of these calls I could scream.

we keep getting calls from these people five calls yesterday I answered one time several days ago and it was a recording since I can't talk to a recording machine i hung up.there are no messages left on answering machine.were on the No call list the last call came at 8:30 pm we were in bed I hope this will help stop these Prank calls thank you Christian

WE HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FOR A WHILE NOW TOO AND I CALLED IT BACK AND IT SAID IT WAS DISCOVER CARD CALLING ABOUT A NEW PRODUCT,  NOT INTERESTED SO I HAVE BEEN IGNORING IT.  TONIGHT WAS A DIFFERENT STORY. FIRST IT CALLED TWICE AFTER 9PM!!!! THE SECOND TIME I ANSWERED IT SCREAMING HELLO B/C I WAS SOOO TICKED OFF AND NO ONE WAS THERE! I CALLED BACK AND IT SAID IF U WANT TO TALK TO A MANAGER PUSH 1, DID IT, AND GOT A MESSAGE THAT THEY WERE CLOSED. WTF?! CLOSED?? DISCOVER DOESN'T CLOSE, THEY HAVE 24 HR CUST SERV. SO I CALLED 1800DISCOVE WHICH IS THE REAL NUMBER FOR THEM. THE REP SAYS ITS NOT THEM!!!!! I WILL BE DOING SOME MORE RESEARCH TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS BUT WANT ALL TO KNOW TO BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO ABOUT YOU OR YOUR ACCOUNT AT ALL! CALL THE MAIN NUMBER BACK DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING WHEN THEY CALL YOU!

I keep receiving calls from Discover Card even though I already told them I'm not interested in other services. I do have a Discover Credit Card.  They keep calling my house day and night and it is just getting ridiculous.

I think its scammers! Wanting to obtain my personal info. Very RUDE!  Asked them to stop calling but the calls continue. I have reported them to the FTC and police dept.

3-6 calls a day. Never a message left. It is ridiculous. IF it is Discover Card as some have mentioned they need to fire their entire marketing and sales departments. If it's SO important that you have to call that many times then leave a message or send a letter. These people should be put in jail for harassment!!!

I too keep getting calls from this number. Even worse I have my home phone (using VOIP) set to ring both my cell and house and the first one that picks up gets the call. So when I am home both phones ring! Anyway my VOIP service also allows me to selectively forward calls so everytime I get annoying calls from telemarketers I add their number to the list and forward all calls to their own number. I just wish I could record the conversations that take place. NO, WE ARE CALLING YOU SIR......

When I saw "Most Wanted" last  week I found out some similarity of this calls with a
gang scheme from a "Nigerian-born " outlaw . He is a fugitive that had stolen a lot of
Americans. Be careful people.

No message just constant calling. Answered once and it was Discover Card, and told them to stop calling. I do not accept telephone solicitations. Apologized that it won't happen again - until the next day. Won't stop.

this number 877-780-9891 has been calling constantly for 3 weeks now. One day for 11 times.  I have call blocking but the phone still rings one time before the block.  They just wont give up.

Six calls today so far. Time to make a complaint to the do not call registry. Bookmarked this site for sure.

No messages ever left, but they call my home phone about 3 to 5 times a day (and night up even past 8:30 p.m.) - shows up on my caller id without any company info.

I just keep digging deeper. This site has alot of info.
