I have received a few phone calls at my work from 2 different people. Dont tell me who I owe or the name of the company they are working for. leave voice mails at my work when it's not even my extension so other people are hearing this message stating I am in trouble with the law for not responding or paying a debt.

Received a phone call at work; left a voicemail message stating that he was Nathan Hale; didn't leave a company name but wanted to discuss a very important matter and left his phone number (877) 957-2741 x155.

A female calling in regards to some fraudulent activity that's been reported on my account. You can give me a call back at your earliest convenience.

The only  fraudulent activities has been done is these fraud Debt Collector company to randomly spamming people and hoping to scare them and perhaps squeeze some money from the victims,

They can go and kiss my A** !

Just got a call on my cell from 877-957-2741 from a female, she stated she was calling from and never said the company although it sounded like she said Conner but then immediately said calling - very weird. Anyway, she's calling and asking for a friend of mine and said it's regarding fraudulent activity on her account. I'm glad I looked up the number before I forwarded the message on. This sounds like something that happened to me recently only on my home phone, some idiot claiming I owed money on a payday loan I supposedly took out in 2006 in Washington state, when I actually did not live in Washington state in 2006 so I played along and when she told me she was going to file it with the county and have me arrested the next day I begged her to please do. She hung up on me after saying I was being non-compliant and I would be arrested. Wow..they sure like to try for the scare tactic and unfortunately, I'm sure it works on some people.  

Please give me a little more information about the lawsuit against them.  They are now calling my 80 year old mother and harassing her - they apparently got her home number off of the internet!!!!!

Same thing as all of you above.  Claim to have a case number and say they are going to serve me and arrest me - they say I gave them my bank account information for Audobon (?) and that is theft since I am not repaying?  How do we stop this?  I am sick of them calling.  Now they have gotten my mothers phone number and they are harassing her home phone -

Received call on ans. machine telling me i commited fraud there full of you know what i am in law enforcement upon checking found out they are scammers they cannot do anything do not call them back and if you ans. your phone hang up on them we have a name for them crooks they have no authority to do anything

received a call from Mr. Howell at my work - saying fradulanent charges - called him back and he hung up on me.

Today at 8:15am a Marise Johnson called me....funny I recognized him as another name previously! Said he was with AFB and needed a statement from me as this debt was forwarded from my county to his office....Don't know who these scammers are but trying to get info and I do not answer calls not recognized by me!! They leave tons of VM.....So tired of it...But they did not read this is an attempt to collect a debt...!st violation and many many more....I had found a site awhile back about Audobon Financial Bureau having multiple law suits against them and with them as defendent....Hmmmm imagine that! These jokers will be paying for all the calls and texts they come up with plus lying about lawsuits,not validating debts within 5 days of 1st call and not telling you what company you supposedly owe...And pretending to be bank personell.

have received serveral calls from this number several not even leaving a message today received who stated that his name is m jones and that it is urgent he speak to me regarding a matter that has come across his desk that he needed to hear back with in 72 hours or he would be force to make a decision regarding a legal outcome.  I this is true why no corresponence thru mail.  also i missouri what about the class action suit

Someone from this number left a message for me on my sister's phone. Said his name was John Harris at ext 109, regarding a guardianship matter in my yakima county, washington.

When I called this number they gave very vague explanations to  the reasons of why they are contacting me. They sound very unprofessional as well, they  just answer by saying hello,.  

I just received the exact same call from Lisa Thompson at ext 120. Wow they are going to the extreme. She never even mentioned what company she was calling from.

they told me they were going to suspend my license???? I am in Texas!

Someone called me from this number saying that they were going to report me to harris county and going to suspend my license?????

I am in Ohio. They left me a message just saying the were a collection agency and that I needed to call them back. The name came up as michael e., that's it. How do I find out about the lawsuit?

Rec'd VM on my cell from a very direct female at 877-957-2741 ext 209. Lady indicated she was trying to reach a Mr. K. Cr... with last numbers of SSN 8... Moreover, she indicated that she was calling about a civil legal matter and that Mr. C needed to call her ASAP. I am not Mr. C nor do I know anyone by that name. Was not going to call back, but then rec'd 2nd call.
Called the number and older female that answered simply said, "hello". I began telling her why I was calling and before I could finish the lady transferred me to the woman who had called my cell. I informed the woman that I was not Mr. C nor did I know him. She informed me that reliable individuals told her I was Mr. C's boss. In response, I told the woman that I was not the man's boss; I was retired; and that I had never had a person by the man's name work for me.
The woman curtly told me that she would deactivate my number and then she hung up.

How do I get in the class action suit against these guys? I am in Missouri. Thanks.

I received the same call and also looked up court cases in my County...NOTHING....I think the guy wants you to think he's an attorney. I found out this company has had mutiple lawsuits against them. I suggest we all sue them for the collection laws in our state. I am also looking into that. I will not have anyone let alone a scammer calling my mgr at work!

These people are crazy, some how they called my bosses cell number and they are calling his phone, my phone the switch board. If anyone has their address please let me know. I need to send them a certified letter to stop the madness.

I got a call this morning from this number and they left a voice mail. The gentleman a Mr. Voorhees, sounded very professional but that's where his professional manner ends. He proceeded to tell me that there was activity with my name and social security number with this Mambo cash company.  I certainly don't do that kind of thing and I certainly know the laws in my governing state. Which by the way is Pennsylvania. The man stated that I would be served papers in Beaver county and I also would be Liable for three times the amount of money plus filing fees etc, if I ignored them.   I had until 3 pm today to call them back. End of message,  he left his phone number and extension.  Well folks who live in PA three things to say to you if you get called by anyone from this number.

1. If you are being sued in Court they certainly will find you, and won't call you to tell you they are coming. They want to surprise you.

2. this type of collection and cash loan is illegal in PA.

3. NEVER EVER give them any information, the best thing is to ignore them don't answer them because they will not relent in pestering you.  

You can report them, but, they will change their number and start again. They are truly scum of the earth.

Believe me I work in the court system I know how this works. They are just into scare tactics to get someone,  ANYONE to pay them. half the time they aren't even talking to the correct person, nor do they care.  

I can tell you if your Name is in their system that they will devise all kinds of ways to get to you via phone. But that's it,  phone only. They have no Law on their side because they are Crooks. People often ask me how your name gets on these lists. they occur from the following. Register to win contest at trade shows, your credit card company selling your info, or identity theft at some level.

Please just put them on ignore. I see enough of good people being scared into paying for things.

This is a number from a collection agency. If they leave a voicemail, they say there is fraudulent activity with one of your credit cards or social security number. This is a trick to get you to call them back. In my case, they have been calling me about someone I don't know and have never heard of. Very annoying

Good for you. They keep calling my cell too about fraudulent activity on my account and unless they
receive a call by five pm the day they called they will turn it over to my county courthouse. Its so funny to me because these scum bags have been calling since January with the same speel and no action. So I ignore the calls I block out every number they call from. And yes it is Audubon Financial Services they don't give up. Two weeks ago they were going to close the case unless they heard from me now it has been transferred to the legal dept lol. Please I don't really give a darn.

Totally scam call my job told my boss they were working with the local police department to collect debts. Called once I got home and number rolled over to some music then a lady telling me I owed a debt but couldn't tell me for what .She then proceeded to ask for my social security number, after laughing she got extremely irritated and said a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I informed the lady I was fully away this was b***s*** and not to call my job and they should improve there b***s*** skills before running a scam. She then told me I was very unprofessional. I said so claiming to work with the local police debt to obtain a debt you say I owe but have no idea what it is means your the professional one??? lol she then hung up....bet that's the last phone call I get

Got call from that. Company saying I owe money and that I have a. Case against me in wayne..never statingfrom who or what.

I HAVE NO IDEAL WHO THIS COMPANY IS A PERSON NAMED TONY WILLIAMS SAID CALL HIM ABOUT A MISSED I NEEDED FOR THEM TO SEND SOMEKIND OF CORRESPONSE BUT HAVE NOT YET RECEIVE IT.

So I called them and they are supposedly emailing me something.  He said something was sent to his office from my county to try and resolve it.  I told him due to past fraudulent activity I'm going to check with my County Court as well...he told me it was from Audubon Financial, who by the way kept hanging up on me when I asked for debt validation and told me to stop harassing them when I kept calling...guess they didn't like have a taste of their own medicine.  I checked my county public records and there is nothing pending so I can't  wait to receive this email.

They just started calling me...how did you find out about the lawsuit because all I've found so far is this page?

I just got the came call on Thursday 8/8/13 and he said it was an urgent matter forwarded to him from my county...said his name is Donald Socia at ext.169 also.
