i'm not call back, and i easily marked it as spam.

Rec'd junk call from 888-274-6613 - [8:31 pm] - did not answer, msg was left John Pierson claiming he belongs to a data service provider for Yahoo, Bing and Google. His callback number was 888-241-6004, and then corrected himself to 800-241-6004.

The nerve of this jerk calling at this hour of the night!

Probably some thirty-something, living out of his parent's basement, annoying the hell out of everyone late night.

We work only with brick-and-mortar companies that have a BBB-rating, and real UPS address. As I stated some totally inconsiderate jerk.o.f.f. calling here at this hour of night, and his yada-yada-yada and then not even getting his call back number correct, although he maintained his call back number was toll-free, well caller-ID showed the number we posted.

Folks, I've got a better chance with a used-car salesman!

call numerous times a day with no response jerk offs scam company trying to get me on google

"Natalie" called about optimizing business on Google search engine. They called at 8:30 pm (sales calls are not permitted here after 8 pm) and have called me on Sundays.
Just read an article about Google in local newspaper, stating that buying an ad will not get you any nearer the top of their listings.

Usually calls Biz Cell at 9pm, they leave no message. When I pick up there is usually just silence on the other end.

Ditto the previous messages at this site. Call from Wendell just came minutes ago; but since I let all 888 numbers go to voice mail - I save myself from the enthusiastic inane drivel and "too good to be true" junk.

Got the call too. "Opportunities on the first page for my market." And I'm supposed to trust a company like this with marketing my company?

company called at 9:51PM on a sunday night, identified themselves as john pearson, data service provider for yahoo.com, bing.com, and google.com and promised to put us on the front page of all the search engines.  well, no need as we are already there with dwarf talent and many other dwarf, midget and little people acting and entertainment keywords.  left phone number 888-241-6004 even though he called from 888-274-6613.

Called me at 9:50pm no one there...

I received a call from this number at 2030 PST. At first silence, then the person on the other end wanted to sell me something. I hung up when they started as I knew it had to be a scam on a late Sunday evening. Who does biz to biz at this time of night on a weekend night? I hope you can track these people down. If enough people complain it may be worth going after them. There are many laws that can be applied here we just need people who want to see it through!

Who would call this late...SPAM

Phone rang (my home business number) at almost 10 pm on a Sunday night! B-tards! That is against the law. I knew it was suspect, so I didn't say anything when I answered and immediately the line disconnected (autodialer -- which is ALSO illegal!). I can't understand why they are calling on Sunday night to reach businesses. Do they expect you to be there??? I mean, if you're so lame that you're not on the first page of Google search results, WHY would you be SOOO BUSY you're burning the midnight oil and working on Sunday night? Apparently, you don't NEED to be on page 1 if you are able to pull in that much business without them.

Jerks.

Scam about putting my name of the first page of search engines. You should run as fast as you can when these people call - they are all scam artists.

Yikes!  This number called at 8:40 on a Sunday night.  I do not answer the phone from telemarketers EVER but especially on a Sunday night!  Now I wish I had answered and yelled at them.  Sick and tired of all 800, 888, etc. calls asking for something.  I wouldn't buy anything from anyone calling me on the phone.

Keep getting calls from this number but no one is there when I answer.  Annoying because they call at weird times like 9:30pm on a Sunday night.  Called them back and automated phone message said they were a search-engine optimization company. Left them a message to remove my phone number immediately.

Just got a call at my office number which is at my home.  9:33 pm

I have been getting a lot of toll free calls and there is nobody on the line, no recording, just silence and a hangup.  It gets really annoying.  I don't know if they are all from the same place though,  I should keep track.  It doesn't help that there is no caller name with the number on caller ID either.

Maybe we should find out what company these are from, then look up the Sec of State office records for their state to find out who owns the company then call them non-stop for a few weeks and see how much they appreciate it.

Got the call 9/21 at 815pm.........rang 3 times, when I picked it up...nobody was there but I am sure it is all the same great opportunity to send them money for nothing in return like all the others have posted here!!!

Yup, he actually called my home and even called the place I work at, literally 5 minutes apart around 8:30pm tonight. I am not sure if it was just total coincidence being my employer has a business line with Time Warner Cable and I happen to have a home line with TWC (they sell numbers to telemarketing type companies) as well... but very strange. My home phone does not have a voice mail set up, but the message he left on my employer's business line (it's set up to send to my email), claimed he was calling to get the business on a top search engine site.

Same message here " Hi this is Bill. I've been trying to get a hold of you guys (guys  ?!?!?!?!? a little informal don't you think?)  Huge  opportunity for your business to be on the first page of major search engines including Google, Yahoo and Bing.  The reality is when someone is looking for you, you want to be on the first page. Please call us back at  888-275-4178."

Also the call was received well after 900pm.  

Caller ID was Toll Free.

Same here. Called AGAIN except at 10:04PM this time almost waking my babies. Keep blocking their numbers and told them to stop (we're on do not call list). Can't report an unknown person or business.

"Bill" called us at 10:04PM & left a message with his scam opportunity to get our business on the front page of the 3 major search engines. We're on the do not call list & have told these guys to stop calling us.  They're not going to have to worry about do not call violations if they call at that hour again and wake my babies; "Mama Bear" will have a few choice words for them.

Same idiot just called and left same google opportunity message. What a loser.

They call me often and say nothing. Just hang up.
