I had an issue with my son after he got into some trouble financially while away at college. Worked with Mrs. Ellington and she was ironically the complete opposite. That's odd. You're not going to take care of it? Had to explain to my son that these types of things just don't go away. Sorry your experience was so different than ours. And I received copies and receipts that I requested as well. Doesn't add up. Nice people. My son was the knucklehead. :-(

I also got a call from the "mediation group" called Progressive claiming they are not collectors. Mr. Davis was extremely rude and would not listen to anything I said.  He stated that I need to pay $800.00 or they will serve me papers and I would have to go to court.  I found this link and immediately called my bank to report the issue and they reported my card lost.  I called the original loan company who said they sold it to another collection agency.  Called that company and they sold it 2 days after they got it to yet another collections agency.  This Progressive company refused to send me anything to show me what I owed because the original loan company already did etc.  I called the FTC and reported the issue.  There number was 1-888-364-4892.  My FTC reference # 43074564
