These people claim they are calling from Bellsouth.  THEY HAVE NO RELATION.  THEY ARE A SCAM! I work for AT&T and have many companies calling and asking about them.  These people (Sharon Dibble for one) are NOT employees.  Please do not respond to their calls.  Contact AT&T directly if you have any questions.  Please keep in mind, they do NOT have any information on the company they are calling.  They are using Google and Hoovers for general information.

I had a call a few days ago from Tim Cunningham telling me he was with AT&T and that my DSL Business Promotion would be going up next month and that he still could save me 30% and that he WAS an AT&T representative and that he would fax me the forms to fill out. Well, like a stupid idiot I did for 36 months and faxed back to him. I decided to google the phone number which I should have done before and and found this web site.  What a fool idiot I was. I will call AT&T Monday and hope that I can get out of this mess I put myself in since the man LIED to me telling me he was an AT&T rep.  Susan from AT&T that wrote before me on March 20th is right.  I just hope AT&T can now help me out.

Fallon Jones called to say that our long distance plan (Business Appreciation) was being discontinued effective today & that they would put us on Unlimited Calling for one month at their expense & that we would have to choose a plan and commit for 1 year when she sends the paperwork.  Told her she wasn't making any changes until I spoke with the owners of the company and our AT&T rep.  Told her that I had spoken with our rep last week & he didn't mention anything about it.  Said that it had changed only a couple of days ago & he wouldn't have any paperwork yet.  I recorded her while she was doing her recap and called my rep when we hung up.  While I was talking to the real AT&T rep, she called back and said that when she went in on the second "in-depth" screen that our account had already been taken care of (of course I recorded this, too) and there would be no changes.  I sent our rep an email with "Do Not Call" to tag on our account to prohibit outside agents from calling to try to slam us.  My rep also said to be careful of these same type of people coming in to your business and saying they are with AT&T and need to look at your phone bill to be sure you are getting your discounts - AT&T already knows it and they don't need to see your bill when they can look at it on their screen.  Bottom line - don't give out any information.  Period.

I got a call from this number today from "Jared" claiming he was with ATT.  He was real cute in that he set his caller ID to be one of my numbers (the same number that I think he called -- but I haven't checked my SMDR logs).  Since I had recent;y called my real ATT sales guy I returned the call.  Then it became clear that I had not really called ATT.

I got a call on my cell which I did not answer since I didn't recognize the number.....I play it safe and wait for the message and thank God I did. Here is the message, "Hi this is Courtney with AT&T and the reason I'm calling is you are eligible for a 15% discount on your phone account.  I just needed to go over some information with you and fax some information to you.  Can you call me at 888-370-6959 Extension 228, again, my name is Courtney."  And she sounded so nice !!!!!

So I looked up AT&T's phone numbers, this one is not listed anywhere, and I called AT&T and they do not know anything about this person or number and told me DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION!!!!!

And the caller ID said, "Unknown" so don't give out your personal information, EVER.  Hang up and you call the company direct at the nubmer you know is legit!!!!

ONCE AGAIN, THE DISCOUNTS THAT ARE PROMISED AND TALKED ABOUT ARE REAL!  THIS COMPANY IS A DIRECT PARTNER OF AT&T AND ALL DISCOUNTS DISCUSSED ARE TRUE. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT ANYTHING DISCUSSED IS A LIE, THEN YOU ARE WRONG AND WILL CONTINUE TO PAY TOO MUCH FOR THE SAME SERVICES THAT MAY BE ELIGBLE FOR DISCOUNTS.  IT GOES TO SHOW YOUR LACK OF BUSINESS SAVVY, TO NOT EVEN TRY TO HEAR ABOUT DISCOUNTS YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR.

Im not sure what everyone else is talking about. I got a call from this number and checked this website out and proceeded to go to att.com.....On there it is listed that ACG (the marketing company in this case) Is a global platinum partner of AT&T and that they are authorized venders........There are of course dirty people in the telemarketing business, but the gentleman i spoke with was very curteous and helped me out tremendously. Be careful of course but dont give out any info. If anyone calls you ask them for your account creation date and your account number (which is 3 digits followed by your main phone number) and if they give you that information then talk to them....if not......hang up!

Asked these people (keisha and harold) multiple times if they worked for ATT or were outside contractors and they kept dodging the question.

YOU ALL ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS.  THE DISCOUNTS THAT THIS COMPANY CALLS ABOUT ARE REAL!! I got a call from Catherine Quinn from this number who also claimed to be with AT&T - I was entitled to a 50% reduction in long fdistance and DSL. Didn't believe her for a moment - she says she's at Ext. 220.

Brent at ext 216 has a 25% discount that I missed on my AT&T phone bill.

Got a call from Christopher Carson with "AT&T" at x 215.  Said we were being over charged on our main number and wanted me to call to correct this problem

this is the 2nd call from AT&T today.  WE've filed a formal complaint w/ at&t and forward them all this info..still for at least 4 months now, they call our work repeatedly!

I have been researching this all day - these people harrass us every day. I found out they are from Authorized Communications Group which does represent AT&T. They have broken many FCC regulations and I will make sure they stop!

I've been getting calls from these people every day even though I keep telling them to stop calling us. One rep refuses to give us their name and address of their office and told me he doesn't know his managers names. He keeps telling me we're paying too much for our DSL - I told him to fix it then. I've filed FCC complaints and sent complaints to the Public Service Commision

Ted says he is with ATT&Bellsouth (not buying it) telling me I missed a "rebate" opportunity.

Sounds fishy. I will be calling AT&T today to research.

Ted Cooper at ext 215.  This is the second message from this phone number.  I don't return calls that appear to be solicitations as a rule.  When I googled the number i was directed to this message board and then to this complaint board.

I just received a voicemail from Ted Cooper at ext 215 at 888-370-6959.  Weird that it cut off at the end.  "Ted" gave no reason for his call.  Did you ever get more info.? This was received at my place of work.

I was called by Ted Cooper at ext 215 & he was about to tell me why he called & then the message ended.  He was calling my work #.

I, too, was called.  A Ted Cooper called and left this number as a call back but didn't say why or what company he was with.

I was called by Keysha at this same number - same drill, no reason given for why I should call back and no company identification.

The message from this caller was: "This is Jose. You can call me at 888-370-6959." But "Jose" didn't say why he was calling, what company he represents, or any reason why I would want to call him back.
