I am an attorney pursuing CRG (Credit Recovery Group), learned very quicky thay the name I had to use for this lawsuit was PnL Agency L.L.C. the reason the owner uses 3 names and does not provide physical address is to prevent anyone from locating him for lawsuits or F.T.C. shutting them down. For everyone's info these are valid debts, the ammounts are very wrong, we learned that the owner applies any figure that he feels necessary to make him more money generally the figure we notice applied to many of these purchased debt os approximately $750.00-$850.00 keep in mind this is completely illegal. Funny call 877-250-5540 and 888-374-2486, its the same recording voice, and the same people! They have both called me. They said the company name was Credit Recovery Group once then said it was Charles Richards Group, which is it???

I recvd a call from 877-250-5540, I answered and they told me I was being sued after much conversation I gave them my email address to send proof of the debit. 30 mins later I received a call from 888-374-3791 and it was the same guy I spoke to saying he lost my email address??? This is crazy

Company name is CRG group.

Main Street Host on Caller I.D. Telemarketer left a message to call 888-374-3791. Being on the National Do Not Call Registry is a joke.

Lol, guess it never came.  Besides, it's supposed to be sent US Postal mail!

On 6/10, I did hear from Tony Martina again(message on my machine) stating I have had ample opportunity to contact the FIRM regarding the CHARGES in the CLAIM against me before I would be SERVED. This was about 2-3 hours after Tony spoke directly to me--if these charges, whatever they are, were legit this would not be the way to be served.  He said that he verified my address and I had been "OFFICIALLY NOTIFIED" and the only way to clear this would to speak directly to him.  So I decided to wait for his bogus claim in the mail.
NOTHING HAS ARRIVED IN THE MAIL.
6/17 Tony has left his same bogus message stating the vague "firm," "charges," & "claim."  He again states he has my address so I'll be waiting by my mailbox ; p

I got a call from this number today also. I called them back and they gave me details about a debt that I owed on and said I am in pre litigation (what ever that means) I asked them to send me info and gave them my email address. They said it is on its way. I will update as soon as I get it.

I have also  had calls and threats of being served, this started yesterday. Or, well, last week I guess, Tony Martin had called my parents house, left a msg. I called back yesterday, my case had been handed over to someone else,I was informed of their terms which was payments ranging from $300.00 a month to a 900.00 settlement. I called back today, When I told them that wasn't an option for me, that I could make small payments.They said I'd have to be served, and good luck in court. I asked if he was refusing to take payments from me, he said yes. That was it! An hour later I got another call/ msg.from Tony Martin that had a rude tone... The name CRG stands for Charlie Roberts Group

we received a letter of change of address for my wife from Italy texas to an address we have lived at for four years then we got a call from this c.r.g  about a visa card we never had from 2004
I don't know who they are but S/S is checking on them as we speak as is the judge in kemp tx  so if they want to dance lets get it on  you are jacking with the wrong person when it comes to my wife j***off do your best I can find you .

It is BS.  No one calls to give a heads up that they're going to serve you.  The court process server just serves the papers.

By law, they are required to give the company name, and address and also the debtor's mini miranda.  If they refuse to tell you who they are, it means they're trying to scam you into paying a bogus debt.  

ALWAYS demand a debt validation letter (per the FDCPA) to be MAILED to you proving you owe the alleged debt and that they are licensed to claim and collect this debt in your state.  If they refuse to send proof of debt, this is a violation of the FDCPA and you can let them know you will not pay a debt that isn't yours.  Report them to the FTC, and your state's Attorney General.  Also tell them that all calls from them are being recorded and sent to your attorney for violations of the FDCPA.

888-374-2486 was giving to me last week and said that they had some paper work to drop off. I did not call them as I thought this was BS. I just got served some stupid court papers from an attorney today. I called that number back and they said there is nothing they can do now. The letter says I have to file something called an "Answer" within 20 days. This is BS I cannot even afford an attorney.

Just received a call from Tony Martin on behalf of CRG stating I am to be served in a lawsuit.  Can't say that I want to call back as I find no solid information on the web.  I do not believe that this is standard protocol to serve in a lawsuit.  They'll have to call me back

I got Bo Jones too.  He was very rude, refused to identify the name of the company, condescending and refused to tell me the name of the company, just continued to say it was a pre-litigation company...but repeatedly refused to give the name.  I'd really like to know who they are.  They are NASTY.  All anyone would really need to do is tell who they are, work out something on a past debt and move on to the next call.  That's  not how they do things.

My step-daughter got quite a few calls looking for me.  She refused to give them information.  The also called my father and told him I was in trouble.  I called them and they were very rude.  The insisted that I had to give them my credit card information over the phone.  I told them to send me the information and they said "Not going to happen." I refused to give them my information so they said,"I have one more thing to say to you.  Good luck in court." and hung up on me.
That was last week and today they have called were I work and spoke to one of my co-workers about serving someone papers.  I got on the phone and told them to come on over because I won't do anything until I get everything in writing. They hung up on me and have now started calling my cell phone.

I received call from some one they gave me phone number of 888-374-2486 I looked up on computer and found this. They say I can work out with them or take chances in court. This was for a med devise my husband bought. I set up payments.

They called me too. I called back and they said I am being set up for pre litigation. they gave me details about a credit card i had about a year ago. I did not think they would go this far for  such a small debt but I guess not. They were firm with me also but did not get rude.

They called and left a message on my cell phone and said they were Tony Martin(sounded Indian) and gave me this number to call back. They called my phone 3 times but only once left a message and then called my mother in-law whose name is Patricia Burton looking for me saying I'm being sued with a class action lawsuit. Have no idea what this is about.

I just received a voice message and called them back.  "Mike" hung up on me 3 times, because I was leary about verifying part of my social without know who and where I was calling.  The last call was answered by "Bo Jones" the head of mediation spoke with me.  He was rude and disrespectful too.  I refused to verify any part of my social..he gave it to me in it's entirely so I confirmed.  Then he told me "Whatever floats your boat".  My reply was really???  He explained to me he didn't need to be nice or professional to me.  He was trying to help me out.  So since I complained about his tone to me he refused to speak with me.  I am not denying that I probably have a debt with them...but really why go through this with someone on the phone.

I was never rude, loud or ignorant at any point.  But maybe this is a way for them to piss people off so that we really wont go through mediation with them.  If anyone knows the company name I would love to have it and file a complaint with the BB

Tell them the next time they call they are violating TCPA and FDCPA laws by INTENTIONALLY harassing a non-debtor and you will retain legal counsel and sue them if the calls do not stop.
