Yes I got a message on my answering machine this afternoon. I have this group of people call me over a dozen times since January 2014. This is the first time they have used a toll free number. But same Southeast Asian  accent same old scam about the IRS fraud. I have already reported the other numbers to the FTC on this link https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1. We need to get these thugs and put them behind bars.

Found a call from (866) 978-4561 in my voice mail early this morning.  She claimed to be with some tax department.  She has a very heavy Indian-like accent.  I don't believe that any Federal or State tax department would employ anyone who can barely speak English to be on the phone.  She claimed that I can be arrested for tax evasion and I must call them back at 888-508-0929.  I wish law enforcement do something to these people, starting with the Telephone Service Provider because they can tell what real phone number these toll-free numbers get redirected to.

Just got the same message.  He ending by saying, "Do call back; the situation is getting worse by the minute." Really?

Guy left four messages claiming he was from the IRS fraud department.  Tried to call back but each time rang four times and call got disconnected.  Obviously a scam.

Left Voicemail claiming to be from "The Internal Revenue Services"...  What a joke. This is the
first call from this number but second time I have received a similar call in the last three weeks.
Obvious scam. I think I might follow "Redhead's" lead and keep calling them back.  Might as
well have some fun at their expense.

I called them back 3 times, same guy picked it up but he responded with different names.

888-50-0928 is a bogus number. scam artist trying to get money out of you. dont pick up and dont listen to them. IRS does not call you for this reason.

Keep calling them back. They get really upset!

Fake IRS audit department called.  Said I would be arrested for tax fraud in 30 minutes.

A fake irs person from the tax audit department of the irs who has a legal arrest warrent for me. Called twice on the same day. The first time he asked for a person with my nickname instead of my real name and the correct surname. The second time he called, the first name of the person it was directed towards was still my nickname, but with the surname williams, which is not my name, never was, and never will be.
