This company calls me, my family and anyone associated with me and knows a scary amount of info on me. He's looking for someone with a similar name (debt collector?) Phoney threats of legal action, demands that my attorney call and references some sort of case number.

Very creepy stalker-type calls. Won't provide any details on what they seek. Number is from East Rochester, NY. Has too much info (consider this caller a threat!!) Same company also calls from 585-267-5974. Next contact I will engage law enforcement.

these people have been calling me for over a year?

I have been getting calls from these clowns for months on a debt that isnt mine. They call my family , and co workers and have a case number because I am supposedly a "defendant". They used to call from a different number but with the technology of call bots , they can change their number at will. I have called them back and they give me no business information , no contact information , no debt information , just yell and scream at me and wont let me get a word in edgewise. Each time i call them back , they say i am harrassing them and they are going to site me . They can call and harrass me and my famuly and friends , but if i return their phone calls , i am the one harrassing? I have reported them to my State's attorney's office after trying to call them and asked them to stop. It stopped for a while but has since resumed...bottom feeders! I am so aggravated. ..

They keep calling giving me a case number.. Not my name and when I called they hung up on me. They stopped for a long time and now they started again

Unfortunately, that may not stop the calls.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

I have been getting calls like this for over a year. They call anyone associated with my name. Even out of state family members. I dont owe money to any collector the few bills I have are all up to date. My credit report is clean. I have submitted many complaints other than changing my phone number again- I dont know how to get them to stop. The last person I spoke to told me they are a paperless company and they couldnt give me any information regarding the loan but demanded we settle on the line otherwise they have no alternative to start further collection actions and possibly jail time since its over $5,000. dollars= I wish they would stop calling me.

I got a message claiming there was something illegal I'm being charged with and to call them with if I knew where they could find me. I called them, a Hilary McDaniel answered, could barely pronounce my name. She mumbled the name of the company and when I asked if she could repeat that, the rest of the conversation went like this:

Hilary - "RGM, that's all you  need to know."
ME - "I have the right to know who my accuser is."
H - No you don't
ME - Yes I do, in fact, if you don't I will report you and RGM to the FCC for harassment.
H - (VERY RUDE, DEFENSIVE AND SNAPPY) HOW DID I HARASS YOU!?!?! You know what, you can have the FCC call me personally.
ME - OK, what's your number?

Does anyone know the name of this company?  They are constantly calling for someone I don't know and I keep telling them that and they just continue to call then be rude...I need to be able to report these people...I have had it with them

I got this phone call and the lady said that I took out a loan back in 2011 would not give me the info so I looked them up on the internet and also called them they said they had never heard of me so I called the fbi scam dept and reported it to them
