This is a scam.  Unfortunately, I lost $200.00 to them because they called during my daughters graduation saying they were sending a sheriff out to arrest my husband if I didnt pay for a debt he owed.  They now keep trying to take more money we followed this up and found out it was a fraudulent call we are following up with bank and police

My mother recently passed away.  In looking over her bank statements this "company" took over $1000 dollars in the last 2 months of her life. Money she did not have, the stress of this probably contributed to her death.  These parasites need to be stopped!

How did you pay?  Go to your bank/call your credit card company and report it as a fraudulent transaction and see if they can help.

This is a well known scam and you will be sure not to fall for it again.  If anyone calls you like this again, insist that they give you their mailing address so that you can send them a certified-mail letter demanding validation of the alleged debt.  That is your legal right and any real debt collector will do so.  I can almost guarantee that they won't give you their address.  Then you know they are scammers and not to deal with them.  Admit nothing over the phone to these criminals and give them none of your personal information.  These criminals violate the FDCPA right and left.  They are probably not operating inside the US, which makes them hard to catch!

I got a call from this number and they had my ss# and address and said I had a debt and they were willing to settle for $385.00 and I would gat an email confirmation for my records. They told me it was to avoid prosecution on fraud. I never got an email and am not even certain who got the money....I suppose I am stupid...because I went to the PA State Police in Franklin County and the officer wouldn't do a report - he said this happens all the time and I should travel 35 miles to the State Police station that covers where I live.
