The Past two weeks I have been getting one call a day from 888 726 6692.
They never leave a message.

This number is for Share Group and they are a group that calls for various charities that hire them to make calls to their supporters.  I called the number back and they were able to both tell me what charity was trying to call me and to put me on their Do Not Call list.
Since they are calling on behalf of charitable and non-profit organizations, the standard Do Not Call lists won't keep them from calling.

I got a call from this number too. They called....told me to wait on hold - I did because I wanted to tell them to take me off the list they got my number from. They kept me on hold and then after about 20 seconds they disconnected me.

I have a feeling it is because I have am working on a campaign for a ballot measure in California. We are raising money for the campaign and there is a website that you can use to raise money on.... www.party2win.com.

When I signed up with that company to have a fundraising page, they must have sold my number to the Share group. EVEN THOUGH I opted out of the "you can contact me later" questions on the registration form.

After an annoying delay, no doubt a sign of an automated dialing system that routes connected calls to a live agent, the caller asked for my wife by name.  I identified myself as her husband and said that my wife was at work where she thanked me and disconnected before I could ask who was calling and if I could take a message.

Called at 12:56pm today, no message, getting TOO MANY TOLL FREE CALLS, they started up in the last 2 weeks (around July 1st) and they are incessant!  Renewed the Do Not Call Registry and am hoping for some relief.

Phone is on do not call list, received call from this number.  Did not answer - no message was left.

i have been getting these as well over the past week, but no messages are ever left. i never pick up 800 number calls to avoid telemarketers.

I got a call from this number. I've been getting a ton of calls from toll-free numbers (888) with the 726 exchange (and others). I've never picked up but they leave  messages of a sort. I have a message waiting. I call voice mail. There is a few second delay where I hear music, then I hear someone saying, "Hello, hello?"  I have been getting these calls 3 or 4 times a day for the past few weeks.
