As of June 2 2014 it is still Hartford.  I agreed then forgot and checked the number.  Then I answered and confirmed and took the survery.  Boy it sure was a fun one too!

They also call back if you said you didn't want to take a survey -- but it likely is The Hartford.  I had just hung up with them when the phone rang.  I didn't answer so don't know for sure.

Glad I checked here.  I just talked to Hartford 10 minutes ago and forgot they were going to call me back to take a survey.  They have called at least 4 times in the last 4 minutes.

It would help if they would allow caller ID to display their name.

This is a legit number.  When you call Hartford, you are asked if you will answer a survey after your call.  If you say yes, you get an automated survey call from this number, asking how your service was.  

Just like some of the others have said it's Hartford Insurance.

This number is a 1-minute survey re: The Hartford Insurance Company.  When one calls The Hartford, there is usually a pre-recorded message asking if the person calling would be willing to do this survey when one's business is done.  The call comes IMMEDIATELY after one hangs up.  Usually, though, this call comes ONLY if one has agreed to do the survey by saying "Yes" or pressing #1.

I am on the do not call list.

Yes, this is the Hartford Insurance - if you receive a quote from them they ask if you will be willing to answer a few follow up questions regarding their service.  I was just off the phone with my representative when they called - quick, short & sweet.  Not a problem.

This is, as others note, the followup survey call from The Hartford Insurance Company, and something you might have agreed to when first placing the call.
Because this number's caller ID name shows up as "UNAVAILABLE" on caller ID devices, it tends to get lumped in with all the spammers and telemarketers.
In my experience, this is *not* a spammer or telemarketer.

I was given this number to contact the Comcast Business service desk.

called a place of business three times in 20 minutes, each call resulted in a hang up after the person answering it identified the business and themselves.

Used the Caller ID to call back to the number, which didn't even ring once, but went straight to an automated message saying:

"Welcome to the Hartford's Customer Service Center. Please call back during our normal business hours of 8am to 8pm local time."

Call was placed at around 5pm local time. There was no option to leave a message or dial an extenstion, the call disconnected after the automated message was done

this number calles at the very leat 4 to 5 times a day      several times with just a few  SECONDS in between calls     WHO ARE THEY,  AND WHAT GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO DO THIS.    THANK YOU CALLER I.D.

Called my cell phone and left no msg. Unknown caller.

Annoying.  Won't make the same mistake.  Just plain annoying!

This is the Hartford Insurance company.  I had agreed to take the automated survey at the end of my call but forgot and hung up.  They were calling back to do the survey.

As you call to Hartford's Customer Service (most likely commercial lines department) you've been asked to accept a call back (press "1") so the automated system would call you to receive your feedback on how you were served by CSR. After you hang up in a couple of minutes you get a call from that 888 number.

Called about 5 times this morning almost in succession, and never left a
message. Have called several times before this but this was most annoying.
