Caller asked for a Consultation and wouldn't give any information.

I don't know who this person is, but I am tired of recieving calls from strangers.

This number has been calling us for the last several days.  It is a recording that states it is a debt collection agency.  Called back and told them the people you are looking for never lived here.  Asked them to stop harrassing us but they continue to call.

NCO calls my house about 5+ times a day for the past several months.  They call at all hours of the day.  Sometimes before 8 am on Sunday and sometimes up to 11pm at night.  THey are relentless and won't stop harassing people.  They use several different numbers to call from, not just this one.

we have been getting calls from this number 1-888-858-5979 for months and months.  We do not, nor have we ever, been deliquent on any payment in out lives. Just today we received a call at 8:08a and another at 1:30p.  It is becoming a blasted nuisance that they are allowed to do this to innocent people.  We do not answer nor will we be intimidated by these calls.  I am starting to keep a record and if it continues, which  the probably will, am going to file suit agaings these bottom feeders.

NCO is Relentless in their harrassment.  Bottomfeeders with many legal problems of their own, I think I'll assist them by Charles tactics.

This company has called numerous times over the last few weeks and never once left a message. They called before 8:30am on a Saturday morning and let it ring long enough to turn on our answering machine (15+ rings)
Again, no message. We returned their call later and they WILL answer the phone. They are a collection agency. They are calling here for someone who does not even live here! They have been warned not to call again.
Should they call we have some ambulance chasers who are evidently hungry and going after these people now. I look forward to calling one of them when these jokers call again.

They are trying to collect on a debt that occured 7 years ago.  The statute of limitations in my state are 3 years. They still wont stop!!!

I love it.  NCO has spent wayyyy more money trying to collect the debt, then the actual debt amount is itself!!  Great going NCO keep them coming.  I pay my debts, to people that don't annoy the $h!t out of me.

These people have been calling me for several months and they will not stop. I had a call from them on Sunday, Sept. 14, 3:PM and one at 8:07 Sept 15, would not give any information.  Then they called again at 11:30 AM, Sept 15, and I finally got some information, including a name...Mary Cisco, and she/they have been trying to contact one Mariah Duckett. I let them have an ear-full. I also filed a Do Not Call complaint, but it hit so soon I did not even get the company address before it was accepted.
I located the company in PA, found they had been fined by the Feds as well as the state. The company is NCO Financial Systems, Inc. and can be located on the net easily.

I have had the same problem with Midland Credit Management on San Diego, CA., and they are now in Federal Court being sued by an LA lawfirm and have already offered me more than 1700 dollars in settlement. The lawyers are going for more, and their fees, plus costs.

Now here is what you need to do:
Keep a record of the calls.  Your caller ID will take care of that.
Then play a "name game" with them in order to get names, accounts, etc.
Then contact one of the law firms that are generally listed on the home page, or close, and talk with them.  They will handle the case for free as far as you are concerned by collecting everything from the Culprits.  These are what are known as "bottom feeders" in the collection industry (or scams).  Never, Never, Never, agree to send any money in any manner.

They can be baited.  I have pretended to be the Father of the Debtor and ask questions that indicate I am sincere in getting the debt settled.
Then, when I get the information that is possible, I let them, perhaps, know, they have been "had".
