Someone called me from this number too. I didnt answer it, and they didn't leave a message. I also called back and it said it was not a working number.

Received the call just a few moments ago, typed the number into Google, saw this page and decided not to answer. I left Helio a month ago when my contract ran out and moved on to current generation device. It was good times in the early days but those days are long gone now.

Even now that Helio is owned by Virgin, they are still using this number. I answered it and got no reply. But since I only pay half-price for the service, I'll keep with them.

Add me as one of the people that are dropping Helio Service.  Their tech support must be ran by 5 guys in a trailer out of oklahoma.  I ended up having to educate THEIR techs about features of the phone they didn't know about, and then the ask for the password to my account!

They call me... I answer, they say nothing... I don't get it...

I'm also getting calls from Helio.  My service didn't really change until about two months ago.  I went two years without a dropped call!  oh well looks like I'm going back to verizon.

i typed this number into yahoo and this page is what i found, from reading all these comments it does make sense that helio's calling up everyone trying to renew their contract but im sorry it sucks they were bought by virgin my answerrings will be terminated later this month, what i loved was the videorings but too bad they didn't have that many, thx for this link it helped alot

Yep, must be Helio.  They seem to be able to reach me when my bill is three days late.  Only company I'vr dealt with that calls that soon as most of my bills are paid early.  I won't renew and the Droid looks pretty cool.  My fin sucks with e-mail.

glad to know it's Helio.  They can't seem to call to me when they say they will to resolve a billing issue (that's been going on for months), but they don't mind calling to ask me to renew?  Ha!  NO CHANCE.  Droid, as soon as it's available....

Same here. A little under 1 year with Helio and have the Ocean 1. It is far to early to decide if I am going to renew considering I am getting more dropped calls.

888-884-3561... wow, I'm so happy for this website, you guys totally solved the mystery.  I am a Helio customer, about 5 months til contract ends... and I won't be renewing. I've had so many problems with calls connecting... i'll be an iphone user soon enough!  The Ocean just doesn't stand up to it!

They called me from this number earlier today, told them I wasn't interested and they called me back again. Seemed polite enough when I said no the first time, not interested in renewing since the service is terrible. Dropped calls, people can't hear me, I can't hear my wife when she's on her Helio phone and I'm at home.

Got one yesterday and today.
Picked it up and there was no answer and then a disconnect.

I keep getting calls from this number, I call them back but states non working number, confrimed it is a Helio number. AM NOT renewing my service with them. Helio was great but when they sold out to Virgin I have had nothing but dropped calls, delayed texting by 12 hours,..not good at all.

Tried calling back this number but says its NOT a working number. Someone is covering up their real number. It's either political or some scumbag collector.

Got a call from this number and the person on the line stated he was from Helio and wanted to offer me a free phone so that I would renew my contract.  Called Helio's main phone number and talked to customer care and verified it was legit...However, I'm not sticking with them in case you were wondering.

Ive gotten two calls in two days from this number - no messages left.  I thought it might be collectors or something...  but doing a simple search, finding this site, and seeing the post from Gabe above me... i think its safe to assume this is, in fact, Helio.  Im a Helio customer.  They probably wanna sell me an Ocean 2.

I got the same call, they are from Helio, trying to save customers after being bought by Virgin. Their customer service now sucks and I will not be renewing either....

I just got a call from the number and was led to this page when I searched it. I'm a current Helio customer as well... I didn't answer the call and chances are I won't if they call back again. I do not plan on renewing my service when the contract runs out in December. Helio was great a year and a half ago, but their products aren't near cutting edge anymore. Ocean 2 = let down that I don't want to buy. (not that anyone really cares, just thought I'd throw my $0.02 out there ;))

I agree.  Not renewing. Helio has lost their competitive edge.

This number has called me three or four times in the past two days, I've missed it every time. I am a Helio customer with about a year left of contract. They must be hard up for customers to be so insistent... (I won't be renewing with them anyway)

I also got this missed call, and am also a Helio customer. The funny thing about this is, it missed the call after 1 ring. That means their robot caller thing mistook the Helio female voice "enjoy the music while you wait" greeting as not normal and hung up! Screwed over by their own product! Ha.

Agreed that Helio products have lost their edge. I like that the Ocean 2 can play music as a background app, something I wish my Ocean could do. But it'll be an iPhone or Palm Pre for me come my contract ending.

I, too, got a call from this number... and I, too, am a Helio customer who will NOT be renewing.

Helio customer with an Ocean 1, not gonna go in on the Ocean 2 I'm afraid.

Thanks for solving the mystery guys; I too am a Helio customer who's contract is ending soon. I actually added this number to my Fin's ignore list, so I won't be getting bothered by them again.

Ha ha ha, Helio again. This is the third number they used to try to get me LOL. I cancelled and went back to AT&T and they want their money or to offer me something, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah........ stop calling me Helio.

They call twice a day and leave no message.

My contract does expire soon, and I have received an offer in the mail for a free phone to renew the contract as well. Seems consistent with previous posters.

Called and left no message. I do have Helio as a service and my contract is close to up, so this is consistent with previous comments of those who answered.
