Got a call from this number.  Hang ups without message or anyone answering.

The problem really isn't with First Source, the caller, it's with ITT Tech (in our case). Sure... the people at FS can and do act like you're stealing food off of their kids plate an/or act like it's their money that you're not paying back. I had two kids that went to ITT Tech and they are one of, if not THE biggest rip-off schools out there... period! They were supposed to get grants here, and discounts there [because I'm permanently disabled andbetween my wife and myself don't make enough money to go the "regular" route], but by the time all was said and done they both owe (total between the two of them) just over $100 grand! That's for associates degrees... not bachelor's! Checking-in with the administrator regularly, they were told "Yup... it's all taken care of". Nevertheless, we were proud of them when they graduated. Trying to pay back a zillion dollar loan when you can't find a decent job because the job market is saturated (in the computer field) is not my idea of a "way to work things out", either. They don't want to hear about it. They just want their money that... sorry... we just don't have! The whole process is nothing but a consumer ripoff! On top of everything else, when trying to work with them, they want more money monthly than what either one is currently making! There is no compromise either. I would think that an offer of any money is better than nothing. Nope, it's either their way, or listen to the regular threats that they seem to think is going to help matters. Guess what? It doesn't! Don't know where to go from here! As of now... we just block their calls and are trying to save a little money to put towards the loans. I know one thing... I refuse to be threatened and belittled over the phone by anyone! Blocking is only a band-aid, I know, but at least we're keeping our sanity (if only for a little while)!

calls,they cannot do anything to you if you owe a debt,its not a criminal offence
so pay no attn. to there threats on warrents and or extc.

The collection agency, First Source Advantage, that calls from this number repeatedly violates FDCPA rules and regulations. They call my workplace and my cell phone multiple times each day. In fact, just today, I received 5 calls from them. Rude and worthless trolls that work at this agency.

The company also calls for ITT-Tech, Yesterday alone there was three calls made. "10:01a, 10:07am and 3:57pm" then another call made today at 9:29am. Which is a violation of the fair debtors privacy act. States that a debt collector can not make contact more than once a week, unless otherwise advised to do so by the debtor. You can learn more about this from reputable sites like: ftc(dot)gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm Currently sending them a certified letter to cease and desist, while joining in the class action law suit with ITT-Tech. Moral of the story here folks, do not go to a school that has advertisements on TV and encourages the students to give them leads for other students with a trade of free pretzels, Rosa's water ice and pop corn. smfh

I agree with P-Dogg and Kitty Kat...!!  I am also unemployed  and your right Kitty Kat...NO way am I going to succumb to those idiots....They are calling a house number thats active but no phone hooked up..(majic jack) .LOLOLOL   They leave no voice mail and say nothing anyways!!  Besides they should know by now if we say we cant pay right now we not going to until well maybe when we are able! LOL  Idiots they are!!

I agree with you P-Dogg. I was duped into thinking that University of Phoenix was a good school, but once I was in I found out the hard way they're just a bunch of ruthless pigs.

Yes this number is First Source, and they're just like Phoenix...a bunch of ruthless pigs. Just got off the phone with them and wind up having to get ugly with them. I'm unemployed and broke and struggling to find a job in decent driving distance, so what am I suppose to do, lose my house and car behind them? I don't think so!!

It appears to be a company called First  Source Advantage,  and as far as I can tell they collect for Phoenix "University"... Total dirtbags just like the "schools" that use their services ...  Just another friendly reminder to all my fellow web surfers; please do not do business with this school, you will regret it for years to come...
