I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time.   Our government is WORTHLESS, especially when it comes to blocking these calls.  

Your only other course of action is this:  

Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize.  When you do, all you are doing is confirming for them is that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back PLUS they will sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too.   If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does).   If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.  

Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam.   It doesn't work either.   Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home.  If it answers them, then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number and they WILL continue to call you.   Have a pleasant day.  Sure am glad too for websites like this.    

Thought for the day:  I Wonder what would happen if everyone stopped answering these calls.   IF they got no more answers then would they just give up and die ?

I will add that by using these tactics, there are days now when I have NO MORE phone calls from scammers!   Only had one in the last three days now.    Please folks, don't answer these phone calls.  Use your caller ID's.

They've called every day for over 2 weeks.  Called them back 4 days in a row asking to be removed from their calling list.  Apparently it doesn't work.  They should be hung!!

I am continuously receiving phone calls from this number (913-735-9911) at dinner time and late at night. It is the same polling questions every time.

if your tired of this type of call go to amazon and look at the TeleBouncer. You can set it to not ring unless its a real call or ring once if you want to see the caller ID info  

Political survey. Was about two minutes long about who you would vote for in 2014.

These people call morning and late nite and they NEVER seem to give up.
We do not answer, but they keep calling.  If this is a survey company as some of the posts indicate, this is at least
the 5th or 6th  "survey"  company that has bombarded us this year.  This is terrible !!!

How do you stop all the political, surveys & other wise annoying phone calls?

Got a call from this number left no message so I called back this is a polling and research place in Kansas. Not sure why they would be calling illinois

I used select call rejection which my phone company offers.  Works like a charm.

Victory Polling, but they called way too late at night and hung up the moment I made a selection that I presume was not the one they wanted. Will attempt to find the political organization they are polling for and add that.

I blocked my number and called 913-735-9911 back and a woman's voice was on a recording said they were Victory Polling, they did offer to delete your number if you left your name, why do they need my name? I just hung up, if they have my name then they will sell that number to a number of scammers, I just don't trust anybody anymore! They're in Olathe,Ks a sub K.C.
