Answered this call and a heavily accented male subject stated he saw where I had bad credit with one credit card.  I did not give this subject chance to speak further.  I advised him what he could do to himself and hung up the phone.  

Caller ID showed the phone call came from Katonah, NY.

they don't leave a message.   I called them back and a recording said to Press "1" if you want to be taken off their DO NOT CALL LIST.     I think it is a scam!!!!

It is some company claiming they can lower your electric bill.  They call EVERY day even after you request them to stop calling.  They are calling again and again. I have put this number in block list. Any other ideas?

WHAT KIND OF STOOGE calls to telemarket / scam me during a hurricane ?  I already got a call from the west coast telemarketing some sort of power bill savings.  I live less than a hundred miles from the predicted landfall location.

Anyway, both these stooges got Zapped !  by PhoneTray Free running 24 / 7 on my PC.  

GET A CALL BLOCKER and you wont be bothered by these bozo's anymore !

PhoneTray Free scans all incoming calls against my blacklist and whitelist and routes incoming calls either to my home phone ( whitelisted callers; family, friends, doctor,etc. ) or to the outgoing message that my phone is disconnected ( blacklisted callers ) which the software plays when they're found to be on my blacklist.

My home phone doesnt even ring when a blacklisted name or number calls... the internal log records a bozo called and thats the only way I know a blacklisted caller tried my number, like this bozo.

Anyway, you need a firewall on your home phone just like on your PC.

They have been calling between 5-10 times a day for almost two weeks.  Pressing 1 to be removed from the list made it MUCH worse.  It was 1 to 2 calls a day before I did that, now we're up to 10.  Beware.  

I am on the Do Not Call list and filed a complaint with the FCC.

Recorded message said you may qualify for a govt. refund on your electric bill. Asks you to press 0. Didn't do it, it sounds like a scam.

Receive calls from this number a couple times a week.  Is there nothing that can be done to prevent these calls to my cell phone?  So frustrating!!!!

Today is the first time they've called my number. I was away from my phone, but they did not leave a message. I am on the DNC list and have been for several years.

Called today I am on the do not call registry.

I asked them to take me off the list. Now they call me every 20 minutes

This "company" has called me every day for three weeks now.  I answered the call once, thinking it was a new number of a family member, and that was probably my mistake.  Like it has already been stated, it's a recorded message attempting to con me into "lowering my utility bills".  I will not speak with a representative, because then they have confirmation of a live line and will only call more often.

In the last two days, they have called at least four times a day.  As I deem this harassment, I lodged a complaint with donotcall.org.  I urge everyone else to do the same.  Not only is this telemarketing annoying, but the recorded message that they are using is unlawful.  Hopefully, they give our info to the local authorities who raid this rat nest and file charges.

I have also recieived many phone calls from this number, rather than just complain, go out to the Do Not Call Registry (https://www.donotcall.gov/)

First Register, then file a complaint. If everyone complains the calls will stop!

914-301-6043 is calling at least 5 times a day and no one speaks from other end. Such telemarketers or scam should be penalized for disturbing by calling every day several time.

Yeah, confirmed they won't take you off their list. It seems as if they call even MORE frequently.

Called three times didn't leave a message.

I've gotten three calls from that number.  I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.  They left no message.

It is some company claiming they can lower your electric bill.  They call EVERY day even after you request them to stop calling.  When you talk to someone they identify themselves with a certain number, not a name.  Then when you tell them to stop calling they say it takes 72hrs to be removed. That isn't true because I did it numerous times for the past 2 weeks and they still call every day!

Called, left no message.  From other sites it looks like telemarketers or scammers.  Ugh!  Yes, I am on the DNC but nothing stops these stupid companies!  They just switch numbers and names and keep on annoying everyone.
