I received this call today about 3 times from this 916-304-5606 , I didn't answer the phone , they left a message telling me that I was being sued and that they had all of my information and that they were going to sue me ..I called back no answer ..there was a beep and that's it. I did apply for a payday loan online..I guess I won't be doing that again..Need to contact my bank and alert Lifelock regarding my social security #..

I got the same call today at my job at 10a, stating that I need to contact  state att  david foster who is handling the case against me. Something really need to be done against those foreign people who you cannot understand.

i have been getting calls from this number all month long i heard the voice mails but couldn't really understand what the guy was saying so i just shrugged it off but then he goes off and calls my job telling them if they didn't give any information on me or pass on his message they would be arrested because it was a legal investigation im being sued for my name and social security number which was bizarre i called the number back acting as a attorney at first and he hung up and wouldn't answer i called back as myself from another number and he hung up on me again wouldn't tell me about the company or who he was of course i called the police for being harassed on my phone and my workplace

The same thing happened to me this morning. He stated that i owed an unsecured loan and that he is sending someone to arrest me at my home address. This person needs to be arrested he called me on my job. When i asked him who is this suing me he could not answer. And i also questioned why havent i received any paperwork? He could not answer. This number needs to be traced.

They called and left me a message saying they have a lawsuit against my name and social security number. It was law office the guy he had an accent.  I had to listen to the message about 3 times to understand what he was saying. Caller: Law office of John A  call Eric Jones.
I  called and asked for Eric Jones.  He said that was his partner.  Is this ****** with last four ss# ****.
He gave me the spill about a payday loan and the company never received their payment. I said when and How much?  We will fax information to your attorney.  I said you have that information send it to my email.  I  knew that I did not have a loan with payday. I did apply for a loan via internet. i feel like my information was comprised.

A man with a heavy Indian accent called me at my job today.He also called my home.He knew my personal info.Name,social sercurity number. He told me I needed to call an Attorney named Baxter. and this was a serious issue. I had a hard time understanding him.I reported this to the FTC and called the police. I did apply online for a payday loan. NEVER AGAIN!

Hello, I just got the same call from the same number with some guy named Nick Jackson from The Law Office of Johnny Best. I refused to answer because I have never heard of the number before. And he has an accent which was very hard for me to understand. And he said something about Debra a lawsuit is being filed against u. I don't even know who tha f***k Debra is. I have NOBODY in my family named Debra. How they even get my number or mixed up with that person ?? I tried calling back but it goes straight to some kinda beeping sound. This is some crazy stuff man.

its happening to me as well i acted like i was an F.B.I...and he hung up i really want to put an stop to there scam but dont know how yet.i will find a way and end this...

Received a call at work from this number on jan 25th at work claiming I owed money from a cash advance I never received. I too applied for a loan online and was turned down. I was told I would be arrested @ home or@ work. I have hired legal council and am actively looking to find and prosecute these people. I refuse to be bullied by such lowlife scum!

I have got the same thing and he a accent and called my work also.. I've called the police in maryland area and he told me its scam cuz he kept saying that I needed to go walgreen and get money pack and I didnt know what that was and wanted me to put money on it and give him the authorization...  didn't understand him at all... I went called the police and he said its scam..

This person called my work and my cell phone saying I was being suing for a payday loan. I have never taken out a payday loan. Then he hung up when I got nasty. He said he was sending the police to my house. What kind of people are doing this?

I just also recieved this same call from a person named Dexter Cruz in reference to some loan i supposedly took and if i did not pay it today he would have the police at my house within 2 hours to come arrest me. When I kept asking questions he finally said i see it's obvious you don't want to take care of this so I will just have you charged and arrested and than hung up. When he called back again I did not get the phone call but when i checked my voicemail first i hear someone breathing in the phone not saying anything and in the background i hear another guy talking asking for a Robert and I hear the guy saying the same crap that he told me, than i hear some laughing and something about scam scam. The guy obviously doesn't even sound from here because all the voices I heard in the background sound like they have an india accent or something like that.

I received a call, to my cell phone, from the number 916-304-5606 on Wednesday, 1/23/13 at 12:58 pm., CST. The gentleman on the had a middle eastern accent and was attempting to get me to confirm my employment and advised that I was being sued for a loan. I asked for more information; case number, jurisdiction and client's name. I advisd the caller that I've worked in the legal industry in Illinois for 25 years and what he provided was not sufficient. He provided a supposed case number that was not legible, due to background noise, but did say that he was calling from the Johnny Best Law Fim in California. I was threatened with arrest and I advised him that he was in violation for making such a threat, after which he said, "f*#ck you" several times. I terminated the call, but called back in hopes of contacting a recptionist, or someone who could assist and indentify the caller. Surprisingly, the same gentleman answered and repeated more expletives.

Same thing said i took a cash advance out and i was going to jail for fraud because they attempted to take the "fees" out of my account and i had insufficient funds . When i called him back ( Roger Hill ) he got nasty with me and said the cops would be here soon to arrest me and to stop calling him

I just received a call from this number stating that I have a warrant for my arrest for failure of payment for a payday loan. I just turned 18. I never even thought about money loans. What a scam.

I called 4 times before I got someone and I was transferred to Dexter Cruz Attorney at law. I think this whole thing is a major scam. Why our Communications overseer allows these types of calls is a disgrace to telecommunications. seems they should be heavily fined and maybe they would stop threatening people.

same story here. called, said i was being sued by a payday advance loan company (I've never taken out a payday advance loan) said the police would be on their way to arrest me etc. when i asked them to go over the case file for me again they refused.

Got a call from this number also they said they would send police to my work or home. When I confronted them they hung up. When I called back they continued to hang up. Then hours later they called again. When I called back, once again they hung up. Spells SCAM

I received a call from a Gary, legal assistant to Kevin Johnson, jonson for Johnny Best law firm? He wouldn't give me the name of the creditor that was sueing me. His voice was of heavy accent as well.

The samething just happened to me on my work number and they called my cell phone.

I think this comes from the fact when we purchase something on line and some how get our number.

I got a phone call today they called me at 7am and every 20 minutes after that. He had a very heavy accent and told me I am be sued and that I need to get a Attorney right away or I was going to go to jail. He laughed at me because I told him I have no idea what you are talking about. He wouldn't even tell me what the matter was about when I asked. So he gave me a number to call and ask for Dexter. I called  it and all it did was ring and then beep at the end!

This number is listed as a VOIP (Voice over internet protocol) which means it is probably originating from somewhere out of the country. It is a scam and they intend to either commit identity theft or rip you off some other way. I had similar calls a few years back and I led them on trying to get enough information to get them caught but since they are out of the country there is little you can do to them. They tried to get me to put money on a green dot card to pay off a supposed debt I had or they would have me arrested. You should tell them you have alerted the ahthorities and they are watching them and then hang up!!!!
