a woman with broken english called me from this number claiming to be part of the US Grant and Scholarship Dpt. offering me 7Gs worth of grant money for being a good citizen. She asked for my address and didn't know the abbreviation for IL...."verified my identity" by just asking for my first name...I asked her for verification for her identity and she hung up on me. LOL

why these get your phone number and act crazy on personal cell is plain on stupid that is for a phone that your paying they nothing better to do this crap need to stop stop people cell phone number and harrassing them our number is suppose private how do get our cell phone when we dont give it to them this gone to far when be private on on cell phone that paying for this kind of thing needs stop unwanted calls to people cell phone without your knowledge

I got a call from 9287838284 and when I declined the money, he called back and asked me why I hung up. then I hung up again, and he called back and cussed me out. I have all of the calls recorded.

Just received a call from 928-783-8284 and no one was on the other end- they hung up- but from reading the statements this call will not go far if they do talk.

Just got a call from this number, but they didn't leave a message.  From reading the other postings here I see that the caller is up to no good.  So I'll just BLOCK them with my magicJack phone software and they will take me off their call list.  I have BLOCKED a lot of other callers so far, and after a few futile attempts to call me, they stop calling!  I love this modern technology.  Their call doesn't even ring, it's hung up upon in seconds, and it doesn't get routed to my voice mail.  Sweet SUCCESS!

I received a message from this number and a man stated that my lawyer or myself has to contact them immediately. The person's name was Jerry, but he had a serious accent. He went as far as to say "Good Luck to you if you don't return my call." I found that very suspicious. I called back the number that was left on my voice-mail (786-228-5563) and the person that picked up was unable to answer my questions (what is this in regards to? Who is Jerry?- every question you can ask when your pissed off). He was dumbfounded. He did answer 1 question- the company's name... He said that he worked for Walton and Legal Associates. I Google the company's name and there is no match, the number that originally called me was from Florida. Helpful Hint: Bill collectors should call you from your state and only a legal order from a court can allow a Debt collector to levy your wages or bank account. He also told me to wait by my phone "Jerry" will call me back... Um... I am still waiting... To Lay Somebody The BLEEP Out!!!!

Got a call at work from this number. Came up ameyo on the caller id. Tried to tell me I was chosen by the government to receive $7000 that I never had to pay back.

I got a call from same number and the lady in her weak english told me that she is calling from government grant department at 5th ave washington. she informed me that i have been choosen to give a grant of $7000 for being a good man as did not have any criminal record and no bankrupcy during past six months. so they selected me to give this support money to pay my debts..then she ask me in which form i would like to recieve money...credit card deposit, account deposit or cash. i said cash...then she gave  a money approval number to cann michelle smith at 206-201-2218...i call back and given her money approval number...she told me i am releasing your money and cut down...after that no call.....damn rascal thieves...liars....

This call came to my home phone stating that she needed to talk to me or my husband and that she was calling from the government.  
When I ask what section of the government, she never answered.  
Yeah right she could hardly even speak english.

S. 36th Dr. Yuma Ar.. told me that I had just got a free grant worth $7000.00 from Department of Defense because I had kept my bills up for the past 6 months, told me to just call this # 1-206-201-2218 & ask for Myshell & give special # too recieve $$$, ask me did I want it deposited in my bank acct (NO!), did I want it on my debit card (NO!), did I want it in cash (YES!)....no reply? Did not give personal info! Got different info on this #: Bainbridge Island, Wa., Kitsap County, it's a mobile # licensed by Teleport Communications, Bremerton Metro Area, Kitsap County, Can't get name of mobile user.
