i recieved phone call today from brain cooper with a  over seas accent  telling me i needed to be in court tomorrow in californa with my lawyer, im in va  because of a loan i applied for in 09/09 for 300. and was being sued for 5000. they had  my info and wanted to be paid ,i politely asked them to send me the paper work for this loan and was told it was not available. i asked  why they would wait six months to contact me if this was so ,i was told not nicely that  i hab better be in cal or else. i asked them to send  the paper work again and that  i would contact  u s cash  myself , after getting really nasty with me  i told him i would contact the B B B i was tol he didnt care who i called , well my response was take you papers you dont have and shove em  and hung up

I got the same call from the this number saying they were the cooper law firm. its a scam

I got a nasty call saying I owe them money on a loan that I never took out.  Said I was being sent to court and they read off all of these charges.  Told me to pay $900.00 over the phone with a credit card
to make this matter go away!!!  BEWARE OF FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put my voicemails and videos of the phone calls from "COOPER LAW FIRM" Up on my youtube account to show the entire world what a fraud these people are, go listen to them : mrakuLus is the user name

This guy called and said he had some very important information to talk about. he stated he wanted to talk with my supervisor and said i was in deep legal trouble. He wouldnt tell me what it was about all he would say is he is from Marvin & associates

I recieved many calls from Alicia,Brian Johnson and David Cooper.These people with ficticious names  are trying to fool and scare innocent people living in the United States.They were threatening me saying that they would send Sheriff tomy home in Philadelphia.These people are actually calling from India.I think these people are from Gujarat state.They entered into this scam and are trying to loot money from the people.So ignore such cvalls.It iswaste of time ,but if the FBI investigates and traps these people,it would help the American citizens.

I also got a call today from a Brian Oconnor (who did not speak like any Brian Oconnor, LOL). Who also stated, like above, that he was going to serve papers for a lawsuit because I have not paid back a payday loan that was taken out in January 2009.   I have never taken out a payday loan in my life!  I did go as far as to check my bank statements for the deposit of $300 that he said I received....NOTHING!   This is a scam!!!  I called my bank to give them a heads up and I am going to report them to the police in a few minutes.   He can go on ahead and serve the papers......I do not see how they have a leg to stand on since I do not show record of ever receiving any money.   Scare Tactics did not work....but did have  a me a little concerned until I found this site and saw others are experiencing the same thing.

This individual is calling soldiers and their families; they are threatening to take them to jail unless they pay. They are coming after our soldiers; do you hear how secure we are?

These individuals have a landline with Level 3 Communications in Callisburg, TX

The number is probably forwarded to another location that cannot be traced due to privacy issues.
They will keep running with this because they have more rights than us being scammed.

I just got a call from a Jullian Marshall..............do not be mistaken......this is A SCAM from an international company.

WOW !!! This is crazy... I got a call at my work at 7am from Brian saying he was from Cooper Law Firm. I asked who he is representing. He replied in broken english"Cooper Law Firm" I asked him if he understood english. I was transfered to someone else . Finally 3 transfers later I find out that he is representing US Cash Advance. I did a cash advance ,  2 months ago but not with US Cash Advance. He was very nasty and saying I was going to get served court papers at my work if I didn't pay now. I reminded him that California state Law is that you are not to call before 8 am, and you are not to call at place of employment. I told him I was going to report him to FCC and California Attorney General (which I Did) . He said he didn't care and that he'd keep calling till I pay. Brian asked for my attorney's name and number and if I don't have one I'd better get one. He said he is filling criminal charges against me. I got home and had a nasty message from him as well . I saved it to play for the Attorney General.  This is scare tatic

I got a call from Brian from Cooper Law Firm claiming he was representing "US Cash Advance" and he was ready to turn me over to the courthouse for not payment of $250.00 on a loan that I never even took out. If anyone should be behind bars it is the scam artists making these calls to innocent people!!!!!!!!

I just had the same thing happen to me!!!!!!!  Luckily I didnt pay the jerk but he was very convincing!!!!!

The same thing just happened to me.  The caller said his name is David Wilson from Coopers Law Office.  He was very threatening to say the least.  Said I got money put into my account last yeah and because they are unable to get it back from me they are considering me a thief who has stolen their money and that I will be served tomorrow to go to court.  They threatened to sue me for $5000.00 I immediately went to my boss (who happens to be my father and financial advisor) and explained that though I had applied for a loan last year, I had realized it was a scam and did not follow through with the process.  I declined it and my account showed that i had never taken money from everyone.  He suggested a reverse look up on the phone # and this is where I found you guys.  Thank you so much for the information and easing my mind that I had done nothing wrong.  FUTURE VICTIMS:  THIS IS A SCAM...DON'T LET THEM SCARE OR INTIMIDATE YOU AND CONFIRM NOTHING TO THEM...(if you already have it's ok, they cannot take back from you something they never gave you in the first place)...Also do not be surprised if the information they have about you is more current than when you may have looked into the idea of an online loan.  I don't know how they get it, but they do.  I would also advise that you take the advise I was given and call your bank and let them know the situation, just in case they make an attempt to get ahold of any of your funds.

I got a call from alex at coopers law firm. I called it back from the number i got on my voice mail. and he was like reading me my rights over the phone, very entertaining to say the least... so then after doing my research and speaking to my lawyer i called him back and told him he is breaking the law by continuing to call me, i did a reverse look up on the number  940-580-2411 and it shows its in Gainsville, TX . so like i told him i suggest he stops calling me as i have already notified my az attorney general and the FTC on this situation. then he continues to threaten me so i told him you know your stupid then he said i agree so i said wow nice you agree with me your stupid good to know. now stop calling me. your breaking the law stop calling me!!!!! then he said oh keep in mind i have your DL # and your SS# and i will ruin you..... i have all your street address and all contact info.... i said thats fine go ahead use it then you will get in trouble so i have notified all the authorities and have a freeze on my credit and everything else... then i told him your breaking the law and he continues to laugh at me and i tell him you know after doing a trace on everything i see it says that your in texas and well i dont believe this i think your over seas as he spoke broken english then he said so therefor he wasnt breaking any laws as he was not in the untied states. then i said ok just stop calling me then my phone starts ringing off the hook one voice mail saying your a stupid Fuc*ing B*tch.  then after looking through my call log i had 15 missed called he said he is going to call me 24 times a day and at night.
upon further investigation the amount that they say i owe is 60 times the original amount these guys are seriously crazy.... so like i told him as he kept acting rude that hey i already opened my fortune cookie this week and it says im going to have good luck so needless to say im leaning more towards that.


So i told him that a real law office does not talk to people like this, so what does he think im an idiot????
so i reconfirmed that in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WE HAVE LAWS !!!!!!!!!! Then i said you know what this is my country i know my rights and i know the laws then he said F your country.....

If they call you, do not give them any of your information. do not confirm your information with them.
if they have " court documents" (which they do not) then what ever mail out jerks....
