DEFINITELY a scam. Just called back and funny thing..."this number has been changed, disconnected etc." A school all of a sudden disconnects their number??? Ha Kranston, you are either THE SCAMMER trying to cover your a** (nice try!) or a complete idiot!

Samae here, they called my number too, but I didn't answer. Left no message.

They've been calling me for about three days now. I don't pick up calls from "Unknown Numbers" and they don't leave a message.
The link provided by "East Bay" on Feb 22nd pretty much confirms it's a scam. Poor "Krantsan" - either part of the scam or really gullible.
As far as the Feb 14th post by "M" is concerned, notice there's no company name or address included? If his/her "Arizona-based" company has a legit reason to call, why no name and street address (I'm not about to call them to "confirm: what was posted). These solar outfits are right up there with the furnace cleaning, reduce your mortgage interest, lower your credit card rate, give to the police, etc., etc., etc. group......

Received call from this number today. Did not answer; reposting this link which was posted previously.

They might currently be misrepresenting another organization.

the recording identified themselves as part of energy savings reimbursement program; probably a scam. I hung up, blocked my return call, it reached a disconnected recording.

Scam number, again asking about saving money off of electricity bill.
Repeat caller/offender.
M 2013-02-14 01:22:28 Unknown
Actually, this is wrong. We are a company based in Arizona reaching out to customers in other states in regards to their electric bills about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. I just spoke with a customer who told me about this and explained someone is using our number to scam people. We are NOT with the music school or whatever, apparently someone has been using our number. But we simply see if people meet the criteria to have their electric bills reduced up to 2500 dollars yearly or 70 percent and then connect them with their local solar experts who can further explain and see what they can do to help. If you get a call from 949 313 3622, do not automatically believe its a hoax... unless they tell you its for the music school. Someone is using our number somehow. But the real company is not a fraud. We just help see if people meet the criteria for a reduction on their bill at little to no cost through a government funded program. 949 313 3622 is OUR number, however someone else is also using it. So make sure you listen to what they have to say before you jump to conclusions.

As usual, didn't answer and found partial message beginning "Attention SCE customers..." then hang up.
Guessing it is some sort of telemarketing scam, but can't say for certain.

Got a call from this scammer today, Feb. 6, 2013 at 5:11pm PST. didn't answer it.
Kfocht 2013-02-07 01:47:37 Unknown
I really hope you did NOT actually give this person $100.00, or worse, give them your personal information like debit or credit card numbers, or checking account information. I also hope you are not the person trying to scam people!! CSMA has identified this person as a scam and are warning people to not give any money or personal information to this scammer.

Call received 12:05 pm today, did not answer due to the hundreds of unsolicited calls we have been getting. We only answer if the caller states their name, organization and reason for the call.

949-313-3622 number called on 1/28/2013 at about 5:40 pm. I didn't answer and they hung up and didn't leave a message. I'm on the "DO NOT CALL" list. Thank you.

Solar company. Lied about working with SCE. I'm on the do not call list and they robocalled me. I reported on the DNC registry.
pissedoff 2013-01-23 01:16:57 Unknown
P.S. We also used some words that I wouldn't use in polite company.
CalledPolice 2013-01-23 01:13:00 Unknown
We called them back. They sit and listen and say nothing. I called the police in their area and my own. We also will be reporting to all appropriate agencies. They are scum.

I discovered how to block numbers last week and have blocked 10 numbers and all incoming calls that are blocked by the caller. The number of telemarketer calls has dropped off considerably. I have Cox phone service, dial *60 and the computer will advise that my call blocking is enabled. Then I enter #01# and it blocks the last caller. If the call you want to block isn't the last caller you just stay on the line and it will give instructions how to block other numbers.

I received a very alarming email, supposedly from So Cal Edison telling me that my electricity usage was 94% higher than usual, and I should click on "My Account" for details. I clicked on it, and within minutes I received a phone call from this number. There was a recorded message to Edison customers to stay on the line for money saving tips. I hung up. This should be illegal. I'll pursue it.

Play this fax machine tone into the phone when you suspect a spam call and they will stop calling you.

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.
ImCallingBS 2013-01-01 01:03:44 Unknown
you gave your card info to somebody over the phone, trusted them to be exactly who they told you they were, and trusted that they would only take $100 from your account? if you are not a liar you are ignorant for sure.
asdfg 2012-12-04 22:16:14 Unknown
Sounds like you are the owner of that phone number!!!

949-313-3622 > when you call this number, not in service! this is a total scam!
Jerry 2012-11-26 23:12:21 Telemarketer
Targeted at San Diego Gas and Electric customers. Some sort of pitch for an energy saving scheme.
Annoyed 2012-11-21 02:33:24 Telemarketer
This is a sales call from CERC, Customer Energy Reduction Center. This is a telemarketing effort to sell solar panels. They are very aggressive and have a new tactic to not reveal who they are until you provide them with a lot of information. They said they work closely with PG&E and SCE to provide savings of up to $2000/year for customers who have a credit score of 700 or higher. Clearly a lie.
It is pointless to ask them to remove your name from the list. I tried to call them back and get more details about who they are but using caller ID block (*67) prevented my call from going through. So I used Skype and got through to them after a couple of tries. They answered the phone and confirmed the above. They suck.

You are SUCH a joker.
You didn't give $100 to anyone did you now.

I got a call today November 20th 2012. they wanted to qualify me for some government program that will save electricity. They are surely on to one scam to another. My advice use choicest 4 letter words and they will never call you.
